These rich softly rounded glass drop earrings are reminiscent of amber velvet in a soft afternoon light, maybe the muted sounds over a Venetian lagoon, or imagine paper thin crystal glasses traced with intricate gold filagree offering a taste of something subtle and mysterious. Was it poison?

Who knows? These delicate jewels are framed by a rich sherry gold band of glass that is topped by lustrous opalescent black. The focal point is an intricate gold pattern of shimmering dichroic glass that has been so fully fused to the base, no one can tell where one begins and the other ends.

Love the soft tints and delicate variations?

Photographs really do not capture the lovely color of the sea green pressed glass beads in their rounded baroque beauty. The largest of the beads is 12mm across followed by the spicy citrine disc beads. Last, but certainly not least are the Czech Crystal faceted beads of a clear celedon that measure 10 mm across. These move gently on sterling silver handmade earwires and catch the light with every movement.

How can you describe an entire garden or capture the many greens of walk through trees and fern? I tried to say it without words .. catch the feel of leaves, the shine of surfaces still covered in morning dew.

This fused glass pendant blends rich opaque olive green with a frame of translucent adventurine - the effect is like the feel of sturdy mosses below and the light through a green canopy above. Moving patterns of dichroic elements dance like light refracted through the drops of water on leaf surfaces.

This smoothly domed pendant has a neo-lavender base that is layered with spirals of shimmering transparent dichroic and a a shard of corrugated royal blue. Softly wandering threads of aqua glass trail across and under creating depth and movement. A top layer of clear seals the beauty forever.

Neo Lavender is an opalescent glass manufactured by the innovative folks at Bullseye Glass in Portland, Oregon. While some hues are constant and predictable, the neo-lavender is a wonderfully changeable color. The hue after firing depends on the thickness of the glass, lighting of the piece or maybe just the phase of the moon. Who really knows. Each firing is unique and lovely.

I love to use it in my work, but is notoriously hard to photograph. These snaps come close to doing it justice.

The pendant measures 36 mm ( 1 7/16") across and is 46 mm long from the arc of the heavy , classic sterling silver plated bail to the bottom of the glass. The generous bail loop allows larger chains or multiple strands to pass through easily.

I have shown it suspended from the cable neckwire for sale separately in my shop.

In experimenting with thin layers of opaque glass topped by tints of others, these delicious fused glass drop earrings turned out an unexpected and delightful luscious purple. Hints of the periwinkle blue base give the glass a rich colorful quality and the dichroic design elements bounce the colors back.

I have taken it a step further and fully fused the translucent coral over a layer of textured icy turquoise dichroic glass. A warm shimmer and soft glow result. These 20 x 22mm clip earrings are held by adjustable clips and hang diagonally, like diamonds rather than squares.
