This is the most amazing plushy short pile garment quality faux fur in brown with an interesting quilting detail. Super soft and really quite chic and luxe. Slip it over your head with your jacket or winter coat to make a real statement collar and keep extra warm in the bargain. Keep it high, cuff it, or scrunch it down for even more versatility.

Extra wide measuring 7.5 inches. Total length (circumference) of about 28 inches. Plenty to fit over just about any head. Fold or roll for easy stashing in your bag or dresser when not in use.

Oversized Faux Leather Clutch w Flower Brooch

Who says a clutch has to be tiny and demure? Sometimes carrying a clutch can make a statement all on its own. A little retro, it gives a nod back to the 80's when the clutch was the thing for night. And well nothing about the 80's was petite and demure; the clutch bag was no exception. Carry it in your hand but even better, tuck it under your arm to recapture that 80's "woman now in charge" attitude.

The "fabric" on this too is totally unique. Sort of a distressed black and natural textured faux leather / vinyl material. Quite soft to the touch and pliable. The pattern looks close up like it is supposed to be basket weave, but to me it almost has an abstract alligator pattern feel to it. However you want to look at it, it's modern and maybe even a little edgy. I added a handmade flower brooch for a little sweetness and interest attached with a small black textured button.

There are no wrist straps or shoulder straps, it is straight up clutch all the way. Folded, it measures 12.5 inches wide by 7 inches high. Prewashed for extra softness, this medium weight chocolate brown corduroy shoulder bag is casual slouchy goodness. And lined in a sweet flower dot print in a muted fall palette, it has just the right amount of color and whimsy.

A pretty pleated ruffle brooch with gold to brass tone metal vintage button pinned to the front adds a little touch of romantic charm. The cutest modern style clock and leaf pattern in yellow, red, and green on chocolate brown cotton. In a basic medium sized tote style it is really more of a purse or pocket book than a true tote. There is a pocket in the back for extra storage, as well as pockets inside. It has a little felt backing/underlining to give the bag and fabric a little extra weight and structure, but it is still a nice soft sided lightweight bag. The color on this plush corduroy bag is just stunning and so unique. Just enough deep red berry for color but with a brownish cast so it acts like a neutral. Pre laundered too so it is extra soft with a gently rumpled quality. I've cut and sewn it into a gathered shoulder tote style with slightly rounded sides. More gathers and curves are found in the ruffle brooch with a reproduction art nouveau stamping at the center. It's removable too so it can be worn on the bag or on a hat, jacket, or scarf when the bag is not in use. Overall the look is feminine yet subdued with an old world vintage charm.

I am just so in love with this hat! It's romantic and feminine with a definite old world feel, but keeps its modern edge with berry and grey wool plaid contrast. Shown here in a size large to extra large. It probably doesn't fit the "model" very well, but if you're a little hard to fit for hats, it should definitely fit you. I've lined it with a coordinating solid cotton fabric so that ideally your hair won't get too much static if you live in a colder climate. Time to dust off that copy of Dr. Zhivago. Or maybe Reds is more your style? No matter, winter is on its way, and that means snow and cold and fluffy fur hats. This one is a cutie. Not *too* fluffy, but still plush enough to keep your head warm and you looking cool (and adorable.)

I call it fun fur because it isn't made to look like real animal fur, so it's animal friendly. The fabric is probably more of a deep plush fabric with a quilting detail, really unique and super soft. In deep black it is as dramatic as you want it to be. Dress it up with a vintage brooch and your best coat. Or dress it down with your parka and black suede boots. Yum!

Sage Floral Embroidered Nylon Cross Body Bag

This is such a unique fabric. First of all the colors are amazing. Very subtle and muted sage, natural, with just a touch of soft blue. The floral design is spectacular and very modern, almost abstract vs. truly representational or realistic, similar to silhouette but given dimension by the embroidery stitches. But what struck me most about it was how the fabric was made, again an almost embroidery treatment, but on a nylon layered fabric giving it lots of body and interesting little puckers around the embroidery. So is it tapestry, jacquard, matelasse, or quilting? You decide. It seems to have features of each and is quite interesting look at and to touch, all on its own.

I've cut it into a large to medium cross body style bag with adjustable strap. Because I liked the character of this fabric so much I've left the frayed edges on the straps which have kind of a deconstructed fringe effect. The bag is lined in cotton fabric with double pocket inside and closes with a magnetic snap. Overall a quite durable and unique everyday bag that can go to work but also to weekend.

Measures 11.5 inches at opening expanding to between 13 and 14 inches at its widest. Height is 12 inches and strap is extra long and adjustable. Made in my own style, I hope you like it. Mens Eco Silk Scarf

Just the right amount of neck swaddling warmth for a guy who likes nice things but still enjoys being a little anti fashion. I started with absolutely the softest heathered grey cotton flannel I have ever come across. Seriously, it is so soft and with a fuzzy weave so it feels and looks almost like cashmere. That's where the idea for the scarves came from, actually.

From there I tried to think guy luxury, but still with some conscience.
These fairly corporate mostly "preppy"looking thrifted and vintage silk ties were just what I was looking for. Cutting them up and sewing them patchwork style I think makes a statement without being too obvious, allows him to blend somewhat without being too conforming, etc. I think it's a nice contrast with good balance, that he could be a little edgy with but still get away with wearing to work. I've added a loop and a vintage black cellulose button to keep it attached as worn on the mannequin. He can wear it as a scarf as shown or also a cowl by raising up the fabric around his neck.

Measures 31 inches long by 6 inches wide. If you'd like one a little longer, taller/wider, or without the button, just ask. Makes a great gift for your eco conscious environmentally friendly guy. May not be suitable for some vegans. Happy shopping!

Created from a thrifted houndstooth blazer, this design incorporates a modern cuffed pillbox style with a little vintage charm. I think part of what makes reconstructed items really interesting is keeping some of the elements from the original item and incorporating them into the new design.

Here I've kept one of the original welted pockets on the crown of the hat. It's still usable too and can actually be used to stash small items like paper money or maybe a credit card or ID. A really fun and unique detail. Just under the pocket I created a little draping on the cuff and added a large vintage button. The inside is lined with previously unused vintage color coordinated mens shirting yardage.

Made to fit a smaller sized head, inside band measures just under 23 inches. Take measurements to ensure a proper fit. Handmade from repurposed wool and previously unused vintage cotton fabric lining. 100% renewed, reused, or recycled materials were used to make this item. I hope you like it! Gorgeous wide wale corduroy in an amazing spicy golden brown,made in a pleated beret or tam style and can be worn with the fullness traditionally to the side, toward the back or equally to either side. It is not sewn in place so you shape it just the way you like. I've added a pretty fabric rose brooch that matches the inside band for sweet accent.
