It was made from a piece of reclaimed Pin Oak from the area in which we live. It was given a coat of polyurethane to protect the beautiful grain in the wood. Use as a decorative conversation piece. I made this piece in my home workshop on a wood lathe.

Thanks for looking.

Delicate Yellow Daffodil

$25.00
Here is a graceful Daffodil to remind us of the beginning of Spring. It measures 12" tall by 8" wide, so is perfect for a smaller bedroom, bath, or kitchen window. I used Frosted Glue Chip glass for the background, giving it an icy effect, then dark and pale swirled yellow glass for the flower and swirled dark and light green for the leaves. There are 19 cut pieces in this panel. The Tiffany Copper Foil technique was used, and the piece was given a black patina for an old world look. I added a chain for ease in hanging and will also include an "S" hook that will enable you to hang from curtain rods.

The process of making stained glass panels includes cutting each piece, grinding for a perfect fit, copper foiling, adding lead came for edging, soldering, applying patina and then finishing compound to buff the piece when all is completed. For this size and amount of pieces the average time for completion is 6 1/2 hours.

Blue and green flattened marbles add the look of bubbles coming from under the water.

It measures 6 1/2" X 8 1/2" with the picture window measuring approximately 4" X 6".

Glass is such a difficult medium to photograph because of all the reflections with light. The colors range from light, to rich deep blues, with some iridized glass interspersed.

Thanks for looking!

Dimensions are: 18" tall X 5 3/8" wide. Can be hung on nails either upright (vertically) or on it's side (horizontally). Nice touch to a long narrow wall. Resin was poured over tiles to protect them. Two colors of grout used in order to make the flower and background stand out better.

As for the colors, they just don't show up online like they do in person...and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it. It is very difficult to get the true colors of glass in photographs. Suffice it to say, the colors really are deeper, richer and more colorful in person.

Thanks for looking!

I was researching African Textiles and Fabrics which inspired to design this window panel. I wanted to play with the use of "Negative Space" by using totally opaque black glass, offsetting it vibrant oranges, greens, blues, and reds. The effect is stunning. Hooks have been added along with a chain for hanging.

The entire process of designing, cutting glass, copper foiling each piece, soldering the panel, giving it a patina, and polishing it to a high shine is done entirely by me in my home workshop. If you have any questions, please ask away!

The orange is to signify the beautiful orange sunsets of the African Savannah while also adding more color to a room. It is quite colorful, with lush shades of purples and yellows (complimentary colors), along with the greens of the pear and lime. It has been hanging in the guest room window and is ready to move to another home. It stands 15" tall and is 12 1/2" wide which includes the custom-made wooden frame. The glass was assembled by using the Tiffany Copper Foil technique, which also allows for the piece to be somewhat lighter. It has a black patina with a light brown custom made frame.

There is a chain attached to the wood frame and it measures approx. 7 1/2" from the top of the piece to the top of the chain. I will also include an "S" hook which can be hung from a curtain rod with the chain hanging easily from the "S" hook.

This is a much more time consuming process than the copper foil process, which is the process I usually use in 90% of my work. This panel is 13" by 13" square. The design is an exact reproduction of an old Victorian panel, however, the glass colors are somewhat different due to changes in glass making over the years. A chain has been added for ease in hanging. My husband custom made the frame for this panel. From top of chain to bottom of panel is 19 1/4" hanging.

The entire process, from cutting out the glass to assembling, soldering, and buffing are done by me in my home studio. My husband does all his work in his studio here at home as well, and all woods used are reclaimed wood.

Panels is 11 3/4" wide X 14 1/4" tall. Nice size for a bathroom or kitchen window. The colors are very pretty when the sun hits them at different angles.

Made by me, alone, in my home studio. I cut the pattern pieces out, place each one on the glass, trace and cut the glass, grind it smooth and to fit, cover edges with copper foil, assemble all pieces to fit in the panel correctly, flux the panel, solder, give it a patina, use finishing compound to polish the piece to a sparkling shine, then add a chain for ease in hanging.

Thank you for visiting my shop!

Waterglass was used for the flag colors to give the appearance of it waving in the wind. The star is beveled clear glass.
Frame was custom made by my husband in our shop to fit this panel. All glass work is done by me alone in my shop.

Please let me know if you would like me to make you a flag for your state, or a Coat of Arms, or Family Crest. It is decorated with pieces of glass from my leftover stained glass bin. The decoration on the pot is of a grapevine that entwines the circumference of the pot with light blues (sky), muted greens, (leaves), purple glass drops (grapes), and light green glass drops (lower border). The pot has been waterproofed inside so that when you water your plant, the moisture will not seep through and ruin the outside decoration.

A lovely addition to any patio setting.
Abstract Butterfly Window ...SALE... crack on piece. Was 130.00, now 100.00

It has a crack in one of the middle pieces which can be seen...and yes, it can be fixed, but it takes much time and I don't have that now. Thus, I am taking $30.00 off the price of this piece due to the crack.

Abstract Butterfly measures 23 1/4" tall by 10 3/4" wide. There are several shades of blue, soft mauves, gold/orange, and textured clear glass.

Glass was cut, copper foiled, fluxed, soldered, wrapped in Zinc Came, given a patina, buffed with finishing polish all by me in my home studio. A chain was added for hanging and an "S" hook will be sent with the hanging so you'll be able to hang it immediately.

Thanks for looking!

Victorian Style Leaded Stained Glass Window Panel

$110.00
Stained Glass Victorian Window Panel

Contructed in the old style with lead came surrounding each piece, soldered together, grooves given a putty/cement treatment, then given a black patina, this piece is an exact rendering of an original Victorian stained glass window panel. The glass used is very similar, however there are slight variations. The glasses used vary from water glass to streaky glass, wispy glass to the red/orange splashes of "granite" glass. It measures 18 3/4" wide by 7 3/4" high. Lovely addition to place in any window. Chain will be soldered on if that is your preference. If not, a custom made frame can be made to fit this piece perfectly. This will be another $18.50 which will be tagged onto the price of the glass panel.

Any questions...please ask away!
