Necklace- Time for a Donut (Sterling Silver)

This necklace and earring set was created for the Lava Jewelry Spring '08 Beading Challenge. Using the same set of beads, crafters create their own beautiful works of art.

For this necklace, I chose the 14mm Green Aventurine donut as the centerpiece. It is wrapped with Sterling Silver Wire. Both the pendant and the Sterling Silver chain are accented with gold Swarovski pearls. It attaches in the back with a lobster claw clasp.

The necklace is approximately 18.5" long, but can be adjusted upon request.

I haven't been to the ocean too many times, but the last few times I have been unable to resist the allure of the shells washed ashore. The focal seashell in this piece was picked up at Brigantine Beach, NJ. I love the red areas that stand out amongst the black of the shell. Wrapped around this shell is non-tarnishing silver plated wire coated with enamel to ensure long life for your new pendant.

While wandering by the ocean at Brigantine Beach, I couldn't help but pick up lots and lots of pretty seashells. This one is one of my favorites, I love the purple striations on the shell. The ocean has smoothed this broken piece to make it nearly soft and the shape of it reminds me of a beautiful flower petal. This pendant is wrapped with non-tarnishing silver plated wire.

Gentle but beautiful, outshine everyone with your wrapped wire necklace. Made with non-tarnishing silver wire and adorned with three small pink Swarovski Crystals and five tiny emerald Swarovski Crystals. Made entirely with wrapped wire, no soldering or glue necessary!

The larger cascade of wire swirls measures 4" long, the smaller is nearly 2.5". They are attached to a Sterling Silver oval and circles chain and a silver colored chain with a circle clasp. Each chain measures approximately 6" on each side. The necklace hangs at approximately 17" long, please contact me if you want the length adjusted.

Beautiful silver twists and twirls made with Anti Tarnishing Artistic Wire wraps around your finger to form this ring. Accented with an emerald Swarovski Crystal.

It's NON-TARNISHING Artistic Wire. From the Artistic Wire website:

"This is the highest quality, permanently colored, copper wire available from the wire industry to date. No other wire offers the same level of resistance to scratching, peeling and marring as Artistic Wire. This is due to the special enameling process used to coat the 30 plus colors we offer. After the enamel is applied, the wire is clear coated to prevent tarnishing."

The pieces used with silver wire are silver plated and then coated with enamel to protect your investment. The colored wires are coated with coloring and then enameled.

--Multiple items can be combined for a small additional charge.
