About the item:

A lovely pair of earrings made with vintage glass cabochons that look like little pieces of red jasper. The overall colour is red/orange with dark grey and black swirls. The combination is very striking.

They measure 7 mm (just over 1/4 inch) in diameter and are mounted to surgical steel posts. The posts are permanently embedded into the piece which makes for an extremely durable product.

The final picture shows the earrings on a life size picture of an ear to give you an idea of scale. Please be aware that it is a 2 dimensional image, and the earrings look even better in a real ear.

They are also available with titanium posts by special request.

I've been collecting sea glass since I was a little girl, growing up on Cape Breton Island. Sea glass, also known as beach glass or mermaid's tears, is nature's answer to bottles, china and pottery carelessly thrown into the sea many years ago. The glass is tumbled on the ocean floor, smoothed by the waves and sand until it washes up on shore, waiting to be found by a lucky passerby.

About the item:
A huge 20mm, approx. 1" Lava stone is the focal point of this fabulous necklace. Organic and natural, air bubbles surfacing throughout create a unique, individual texture for each stone.

Using 20 gauge sterling silver wire, I have handcrafted a strong, balled headpin to hold the stone. A sleek rubber cord finished with a sterling silver clasp gives this a clean, hip look.

Necklace measures 18". Not sure how large 20mm is? Think jawbreaker size!

About the item:

Does your cat have French flare? If so, the Parisian catnip mouse is a must. Each mouse body is made of thick cotton to endure even the most ferocious clawing and biting. The striped cotton is complemented by a felt beret and nose as well as a red ribbon. Eyes are drawn using a non-toxic permanent marker. Each mouse body is stuffed with organic catnip (approx. 4 ounces!!) of and a layer of poly fibrefill. It measures approximately 3” (7.5cm) wide and 5 ½” (14cm) long. All stitching is done using an industrial sewing machine.

About the item:
10 sheets of hand-marbled paper.
Each sheet is 8"x8" (or 20cmx20cm).

These are all handmarbled papers and there will never be two the same. The selection of papers shown in these photographs represents examples of the paper you may receive although the actual papers you receive will vary. The reverse side of each sheet is unpatterned. These are all cut from papers that I have marbled by hand. Most have been marbled in the traditional Japanese method of Suminagashi. There are also a few sheets marbled in the Western style of marbling. Each square has been cut from larger sheets that were discarded due to various flaws so the patterns are not perfect. Several different paper weights are included, from very lightweight thin Japanese papers, to some heavier drawing papers.

I am a bookbinder and an amateur paper marbler. I make a lot more papers than I can use for my own bookbinding projects to I offer some of the extras for sale on Etsy. This started out as a ho-hum hardcover journal until I got my hands on it! First it was covered in gorgeous chocolate and cream patterned paper with a chocolate coloured cardstock spine. It is accented with ivory satin ribbon and a brown and white polka dotted sheer ribbon. Silver "forever" embellishment is attached to the bottom right corner.

Book measures 8-1/2" high x 6" wide and contains 86 lined pages.
