Don't Forget Elephant Notebook

This baby elephant is quite helpful. She asks you not to "forget that thing you were supposed to remember". She can't remember what that thing was though. Luckily you wrote it down inside this book!

I used my Gocco to print my original elephant drawing on the cover of this Moleskine notebook. The cover is made of kraft paper and the inside is full of unlined creamy white pages and has a handy pocket on the side. It measures 3.5 inches by 5.5 inches and is the perfect size for sketches lists and spontaneous haiku. It is also archival so you can love it forever.

Scarf Bunnies Gocco print

I drew so many bunny faces while trying to find the perfect one to be the Argyle Whale mascot that my notebooks were filled with floating bunny heads wearing scarves. I soon saw that I loved the way that a bunch of bunny faces looked in a group even more than one perfect bunny face.

I decided to print these happy floating rabbit heads each wearing their own unique hand colored scarf. No two prints are exactly alike due to my hand coloring on the scarves. I used a marigold yellow shade to make each scarf design different.

This image is a screenprint of my original drawing, "Scarf Bunnies" and is printed by hand using a PG-5 Gocco from Japan in dark brown ink on light brown cardstock. The paper is acid free, archival, 30% recycled and measures 5"x7".

The prints are from a small edition of 17 and all come signed and numbered. There are only 16 available in this combination of colors. This is the first edition of prints made with this screen. I will never print the exact same color combination again but I plan to reuse the screen in the future in a different way.

Hrumphy Holidays Postcard Set of 5

Bunnies are amazing creatures. They manage to pout and harumph even while standing on a big pile of presents! These holiday postcards are the most adorable way to spread holiday humbuggery and still make your recipients smile. These cards are non denominational because rabbits disapproval spans across all faiths.

The postcards have smooth round edges and are a cool blue color. The drawing is printed in navy blue ink.

The set includes five hand printed postcards each measuring 4" x 5.5". They are blank on the back. These cards will be mailed safely in a clear envelope inside a rigid cardboard mailer. Do you remember those fuzzy little caterpillars called woolly bears? Some of my fondest memories from childhood involved finding one and getting to pet it. I haven't seen one in years. I made a print so I'll never forget them.

Nom Nom Nom bunny altered Gocco print

My bunny friends, Hodge and Yoshimi share an unquenchable desire to munch on paper. This habit of theirs has led to the destruction of quite a few of my books, magazines and drawings over the years. But, the times are changing and the bunnies have decided to put their considerable munching skills to creation rather than destruction. The three of us collaborated on these pieces. I drew out the lettering and they got to work taking delicate bites from the prints, shaping each with precision and great care.

The image is printed by hand using a PG-5 Gocco from Japan in orange and white ink on pale grey cardstock and then mounted on another sheet of tan paper. The paper is acid free, archival, 30% recycled and generally measures 5"x7" though exact dimensions will vary. The listing is for one print even though the image shows three. Each print is shaped free-mouth by the bunnies and no two prints will be exactly the same.

The prints all come signed (I initialed for the bunnies) and numbered. This is the first edition of prints made with this screen. I will never print the exact same color combination again but I may reuse the screen in the future in a different way.

Bunnies are Boss Gocco print

Anyone who shares their home with a rabbit knows who is boss. My bunny rabbits are the supreme rulers of our apartment but they are also boss in the 1950s slang sense. They are BOSS as in awesome! This faux cross-stitched design was inspired by a crafty heirloom I found in my parents' house.

The image is a screen print of my original drawing, "Bunnies Are Boss" and is printed by hand using a PG-5 Gocco from Japan in pink, blue and green ink on butter yellow cardstock that I trimmed with pinking shears by hand (please allow for slight wonky-ness in my trimming). The print is mounted on another sheet of dark moss green cardstock for a nice contrasting border. The paper is acid free, archival, 30% recycled and measures 5"x7" the adhesive used was also acid-free.

Dramatic Goat and Hippo Card Set

A little goat kid leaps for joy exclaiming "Yes!" and a hippo throws her head back dramatically crying, "Noooo".

I drew these two playful designs and printed them by hand in brown, orange and navy blue ink on high quality white cardstock with my Print Gocco. The set is for four cards with four coordinating orange envelopes. In the set, you will receive two "yes!" cards and two "nooo" cards that are crisply folded and blank inside.

These cards are surprisingly versatile and you will surely find many occasions to express your enthusiasm or disbelief.
I have been having fun brainstorming possible situations where the cards would be appropriate.

Some "Noooo" card suggestions:

- Disbelief... "Nooo! I am shocked that you got dumped/ fired/ injured/ pwned"
- A very emphatic written response to a question... "Nooo! I will sadly be missing your very important social gathering."
- Denial..."Nooo! I would never share that exceptionally juicy secret!"
- Despair... "Nooooo! I made a terrible mistake!"

Here are a few suggestions for the "YES" card:

- Congratulations on the new...baby/ lover/ job/ home/ tooth
- Generally excited thank-you card... "yes! I can't believe you brought me the guinea pig of my dreams!"
- Proud type card... "Yes! I'm so glad you got that sweet trophy."
- Gloating... "Yes! Never forget that I reign as Boggle champion!"

Barnacle Whale Gocco print

This whale is covered in a colony of barnacles so thick that they cover it's back in a pattern resembling lace. I was inspired by learning that every whale's barnacle patterns are unique and often used as identifying marks by researchers.

The prints are from a small edition of 15 and all come signed and numbered. I have made only 14 available in this combination of colors. This is the first edition of prints made with this screen. I will never print the exact same color combination again but I plan to reuse the screen in the future in a different way.

greasing up their fistesses,
up to the wristesses.
Oh! What little beastesses
to be having such feastesses.

This is my illustration of a favorite childhood poem. It is a blend of sweetness, absurdity and snacks! These three ghosts must be trying to bulk up for Halloween!

Barnacle Whale Gocco print in brown

This whale is covered in a colony of barnacles so thick that they cover it's back in a pattern resembling lace. I was inspired by learning that every whale's barnacle patterns are unique and often used as identifying marks by researchers.

Bright white diamonds hover over gold pyramids. This drawing was conceived out of love for softened geometry and exotic riches.

Neighborly Postcards Set of 5

These postcards are a nice way to greet your new neighbors without having to make a casserole! The happy little houses were modeled after my friend Jessica's sculptures:

The postcards have smooth round edges and are a chartreuse green color. The drawing is printed in three different shades of blue ink.
