These cabled gloves are hand-knit in one of the most luxurious yarns I've ever worked with - a merino/cashmere/nylon blend hand-dyed by Squoosh Fiberarts ( http://squoosh.etsy.com ). The yarn has an incredibly plush, velvety feel, and yields a very warm knit without bulk.

Please note that this yarn color is difficult to photograph, and in my experience appears more blue in photos than in real life. It is a rich, true purple with flashes of lighter plum, not an indigo.

I named it after one of the rivers of Tolkien’s Middle-Earth for its shimmery, subtle shades of soft cream and palest silver, copper, and gold.

Generously sized at 7 inches wide and 25 inches in circumference, the cowl also makes a comfy headwarmer and a surprisingly convincing faux slouch beanie hat. Thibault the Player - Original Watercolor ACEO

Thibault, a Shakespearean player who happens to be a small yellow cat with nice boots, tries out some of his lines onstage.

This is an original 2.5" x 3.5" illustration painted in watercolors and inked with brown Micron pen on white cardstock.
