Handmade original design Gilding the Lily original hand beaded necklace

$800.00
Made of new, vintage and antique glass seed beads; vintage and antique glass larger beads, and newer clay beads. The body of the necklace is peyote stitched, a bit smaller than a dime in circumference, then switches to a naturally spiraling 1/4" stitch for the tie clasp that I don't know the name of but I do know that 6 threads go through every bead. There are three distinct sides to this part of the necklace, each beaded with a different pattern, and capped at the end with a vintage green glass bead. In the body of the necklace, a green seed beaded "fence" criss-crosses throughout, keeping the individual beaded flowers from spilling out. Circling that are 4 mm vintage glass imitation pearls, tiny (2 mm) antique white heart beads, and newer clay beads. Graduating dangles (1-1/8" to 3-1/8") of newer clay and vintage and antique glass beads hang from red wires on the bottom. It looks virtually the same front to back. The necklace itself is 13", each tie end 10-3/4", for a generous total of 34+ inches of xurple madness. Everyone will be so jealous when you wear your new fabu creation! And you'll have peace in your soul just owning it.

She's wrapped in a piece of upholstery fabric I had left over from redoing a 50s couch. Her hands are vintage glass leaf beads. Her feet are pieces of branch coral. Around her neck is a beaded heart necklace with goldtone chain. Suspended from a 2 mm rust-colored leather cord, she's 18" long with cord (6" long without) and 1-1/2" wide. She's waaay stylin', all the way up to her red wire hair tie. A xurple gal for sure!

Dimensions: Pendant with cord 16" long. Just the pendant is approx. 1-3/4" circumference. I have yet to figure out how to photograph the glow in the dark beads, so you'll have to take my word for it that once activated by light, the beads do glow in the dark, creating a different design than is seen in light. Be prim and demure for the office, then really sparkle in the dark!

A 2-1/8" crystal hangs from an old vintage shell earring adorned with antique glass and vintage filigree metal buttons. At the bottom of this area, beads are loom beaded and strung on orange vinyl-covered wire. This center portion is 4-3/4" high x 2-1/2" wide. Crystal is 2-1/8" long x 7/16" wide and hangs from the button area by an old brass necklace hook connected around the buttons by a piece of antique chain. Encircling the neck, vinyl- and cloth-covered wire and beads intertwine, accented with vintage 2-1/2" long brass pieces, and ending at the back of the neck with a stunning antique rhinestone slide-in clasp. 19-1/4" long x 1-1/8" high (by brass pieces), it's a treat you do NOT want to miss!

Chunky handmade original design vintage and antique button and bead heart necklace

$1,000.00
This necklace, simply stated, is an absolute eye-catcher! Vintage and antique beads (seed, niblet, bugle) and buttons (bakelite, painted plastic, plastic and rhinestone, painted glass), topped off with a stunning vintage rhinestone and gold-tone used-to-be earring. One of the rhinestones has a slight scratch on it but someone would have to be awfully close to notice--and if they do notice, feel free to say, "Hey, you're a little close, aren't you?" The clasp with the bakelite and painted button--LOVE the butterfly!--hooks into one of the beaded areas. The part that wraps around the neck is that stitch I don't know the name of but 6 threads go through every bead, the thread itself forms part of the design, and it's 3-sided, each side having a distinct pattern of its own (although the one all pink side was hard to capture in a photo, trust me, there is a pattern in there.) Dimensions for just the "heart" centerpiece are 4" wide by 3-1/2" high. Laid end to end it's 16-1/2" long. It's so gorgeous! You'll be so happy when you acquire it!!

Handmade earrings with vintage rhinestone trim and clasp and antique wedding cake beads

$45.00
These earrings are so gorgeous! 3" long and 9/16" wide, each starts at the top with a 10 kt gold ear wire, then a vintage prong set AB rhinestone trim piece with 4-way holes, which is really convenient, because a headpin goes in top to bottom to hold the ear wire AND the vintage paste rhinestone necklace clasp, but a wire goes side to side to make sure the whole apparatus doesn't turn. Beneath the necklace clasp is a pretty vintage plastic robin's egg blue bead and gold tone bead caps that surround an astonishingly beautiful antique glass wedding cake bead, all held onto the necklace clasp with jump rings. Wear these to your next wedding and you won't need to catch the bouquet! P.S. My camera gives me fits with blues. These are a more subdued powder blue. Also, one of the wedding cake bead's blue background is a shade darker than the other one. Very pretty!

The long black beads were taken from an extremely old (and already broken) necklace and do have minor, barely noticeable scratches and dings to them. To me that adds to the charm, but if you want pristine, these probably aren't for you. 3-1/4" long and 7/8" wide at widest point, they're a really elegant look for the sophisticated lady lurking inside you. It's a fussy stitch, but the results are so worth it! Measuring from the middle of the beaded loop clasp to the middle of the vintage silver and gold overlay on black glass button, length is 8-1/4", but can be shortened to about 8" simply by twisting it a bit more. Classic elegance!

The baby is attached separately with hyper fine nylon thread, so she's not really going anywhere, but she's just wiggly enough to vex her mother (you can see her wiggled free in pic 2). Mom has a woodchip body, a vintage wood button head, antique bead links arms, and vintage stone legs and feet that are attached with a rubber ring onto her body. She sports a wire hat (formerly a pin, I think) adorned with a shabby cloth rose and gold tone leaves. Baby is a former earring turned upside down with gold tone setting and orange rhinestone hands. From top of pendant to bottom of feet is 10-1/8" and width is about 1-3/4". These two would love to hang around your place to remind you how much fun it is to be a Mom! On the Rock Star side is a vintage guitar pin wired on with sterling silver wire. Her body is two hardware pieces. She's suspended from a 1 mm black leather cord. Including the cord, she's 20-1/2" long (which can be adjusted by knotting the leather at whatever length you want). At her widest point, she's 1-1/4". Ain't she a hoot? Pure and silly fun.
