They sit out on the veranda with their lady like pose. They're all ribbons and lace with fancy parasols and heirloom pearls draped around their delicate necks. They sip their tea and talk of many things as they casually gaze upon their dashing suitors who are always serenading, hoping for an invitation to join them. But like a true belle they hide their porcelain faces with their rose adorned hats, and with a swish in their walk, they retreat inside; the screen door latching behind them leaving only a hint of fragrant perfume upon the air for consuming.

I put you in an old fashioned southern state of mind with "Southern Belle" where the women are all pink champagne and cotillions and the men are cigar smoking, brandy drinking, souther gentlemen.
