Extra Quick 'N Easy dress pattern, Butterick 3026 Vintage, Vintage 1960's

$4.00
When Butterick says "extra easy", they aren't kidding. This dress pattern has just 7 pattern pieces, including the facings and belt holders. The description from the back of the envelope says, "Shift with shallow neckline, extended shoulders, and belt carriers. (A) Above-elbow-length sleeves. Purchased tie best. (B) Self tie belt." Doesn't get much simpler than that, or more comfortable, either.

This pattern is new in its envelope so uncut, although the envelope is torn at the bottom corner. The stated size is 12, with a bust measurement of 32" (82.3cm). Click on the pattern back photo to get their ideas of size, and yardages. (Women were smaller back then!)

I ship carefully, and am happy to combine shipping!

$5.00
A entire wardrobe in an envelope! This makes up into a longer-length jacket, skirt with an inverted front pleat, slacks, and vest, all with that indefinable "designer" touch.

The pattern has not been cut, and is in perfect condition, although the envelope has a few tears. It is a stated size 8, but I think by today's standards it is probably more like a 4-6. (I've put in a scan of the back so you can look at the chart.)

I take care packing articles so they reach you in the same condition that they left me, and I'm happy to combine shipping for multiple items.

Vintage 60s Jumper, Skirt, Tunic, and Blouse Pattern, Size 8, Retro Elegance Vogue 7709

$5.00
This outfit makes "old-fashioned" tie-collar blouses look absolutely up to date and elegant! There are three versions shown, all of them with that retro-cool touch you'd expect from a Vogue pattern, and while all three views do show the tunic or jumper worn over a blouse, I can also see this as a sleeveless summer option. You get pattern pieces and instructions for four items: skirt, dress, blouse, and tunic or long vest.

The pattern has never been cut, and is in perfect condition, although the envelope is somewhat mangled (see photo). It is a stated size 8, but I think by today's standards it is probably more like a 6, or maybe a 4. (I've put in a scan of the back so you can look at the chart.) However, the skirt and blouse are very simple, and would be easy to alter, while the princess lines of the tunic might take a bit more skill.

I take care packing articles so they reach you in the same condition that they left me, and I'm happy to combine shipping for multiple items.

$5.00
This is a truly versatile pattern, making up into an unbelted a-line dress and a skirt you can wear either over the dress or with a blouse or sweater. Making the dress a bit shorter would easily convert it into a tunic. As you can see from the pattern front, it also works well belted at either the natural waist or higher, for an empire look.

The pattern is new in its envelope and is in very good condition. It is a stated size 7, but I think by today's standards it is probably more like a 3. (I've put in a scan of the back so you can look at the chart.) However, with the simplicity of the design, this would be easy to alter either up or down in size.

I take care packing articles so they reach you in the same condition that they left me, and I'm happy to combine shipping for multiple items.

The bear is 30" (76cm) tall. It would be a delightful gift for a child, or sweet decor for someone's home.

The pattern has never been cut, so everything's here. The envelope's slightly crumpled.

If you click on the photo of the pattern envelope back, you should get an enlarged view that lets you see yardages.

I ship carefully, so that what you receive is actually what I sent, and am happy to combine shipping if you purchase more than one item!

They don't need a coat. They don't need a sweater! You, on the other hand, want them to at least stay dry.

This is, I do believe, the solution. Drop the poncho over the child's head, pull up the hood, and say, "Out you go!" (Hint: Have the snaps already done up.) They can run, play, and splash to their hearts' desire. And there's a fanny pack for a snack, cell phone, or just a little "I love you" note for them to find later.

This pattern is brand new in the envelope, so nothing's missing. That combination also makes for a better fit than you get with just elastic, and an easier fit than you get with just the zipper. Also great for those "fat days" we all have!

Note also the little design features that let you make a variety of looks from just one pattern!

The pattern in new in its envelope. It is a stated size 16, but I think by today's standards it is probably more like a 10-12. (I've put in a scan of the back so you can look at the chart.)

I take care packing articles so they reach you in the same condition that they left me, and I'm happy to combine shipping for multiple items.

Do you have a little Goldilocks waiting to play with them? But I'm not, so someone else gets the chance!

The pattern makes up into three dress styles, a tunic, and pants, all of them with that almost indefinable retro-cool thing going on. Notice the added details--button plackets on the short sleeves and bodice, shaped pockets on the tunic.

The pattern recommends knit fabrics only. Click on the photo of the back to get yardages.

Stated size is a 6, but measurements given are smaller than today's 6. Weren't the 70's an awesome time? So much freedom and creativity running wild...although I'll admit I'm not sorry to see the end of some of the fashions!

But enough of that. With this pattern, Simplicity 8779, you can make a whale, pelican, turtle, or goose, with all the funk and playfulness of the 70's fully present.

The pattern is

I ship carefully, and am happy to combine shipping if you purchase more than one item!

I love these fabric roses, flowers, and bows, which are softly exuberant and feminine at the same time.

The pattern is vintage new, never cut, printed in 1988.

Usually a pattern envelope has yardage and fabric information on the back. This one has so many things to make that they've taken the back of the envelope to show what they couldn't get on the front!

I ship carefully, so that what you receive is actually what I sent, and am happy to combine shipping if you purchase more than one item!

I love the sheer femininity of it, and the fact that you can pair the skirt with something else. And can't you just imagine going swing dancing in this?! Fabulous, simply fabulous.

I hesitate to say "Size 12" because the 12 of then is not the 12 of today. Oddly, there is no bust measurement given, but the waist is stated as 25" and the hips as 33", which translates to a Size 5 today. That said, I know that I always bought a size smaller than I actually wore, because they seemed to run rather large. (Not in the 50's. I was just a kid then, but it was true for a long, long time.)

The envelope is a little ripped around the top, and this pattern has been used, but it appears to be all there, including the instruction sheet.

I ship carefully, and I'm happy to combine shipping if you order more than one item.

A wonderful dress to wear to any party, made up in some retro-stylish brocade, satin, or velvet, or save it and use a more casual fabric for next summer's sun dress. It even has a stole/wrap.

I hesitate to say "Size 12", because the Size 12 of then (my guess is early 1960's) is not the Size 12 of today. The bust measurement it gives is 32". That said, I know that I always bought a size smaller than I actually wore, because they seemed to run rather large. No setting in sleeves! The bodice and sleeves are all of a piece, and the rest of the dress is similarly easy to construct.

I hesitate to say "Size 13", because sizes have changed so much from when this pattern was printed. The bust measurement it gives is 33". That said, I know that I always bought a size smaller than I actually wore, because they seemed to run rather large. (Not in the 50's. There are three collar styles, two sleeve lengths, and two lengths for the coat itself. It has deep side slashes, and side pockets.

The size says 14, with a bust measurement of 32". That probably equates to more like an 6-8 these days. On the other hand, I know that any pattern I bought, back in the long-ago's when this was printed, needed to be a size smaller than the envelope said was right. They all ran a little big.

The envelope is a little tattered, but the pattern has never been cut, so everything's "present and accounted for".

I ship carefully, with a cardboard stiffener, and I'm happy to combine shipping if you purchase more than one item.

They are shown in several styles and lengths, with suggestions on how to vary them using color or patterned fabrics. And as a bonus, there's a scarf, so you can color-coordinate your outer wear!

The pattern has been cut, but it all appears to be present and accounted for. Not only that, but the original owner appears to have traced out her own pattern on a bank loan application. The date on it: Sept 3, 1957. It felt like a living bit of old time when I opened the envelope and found it.

The pattern size is Medium, Size 6 1/2-6 3/4.

If you click on the photo of the pattern envelope back, you should get an enlarged view that lets you see yardages.

I ship carefully, so that what you receive is actually what I sent, and am happy to combine shipping if you purchase more than one item!

It looks to me like it would drape beautifully, and not only does it have pockets (Very Important, that), but they're unusually styled. You can make the skirt in three versions, straight, A-line, or flared.

The pattern says "Size 10", but it doesn't give a waist measurement. At least I couldn't find one anywhere.

The envelope is ripped down the sides, but is otherwise new, and uncut.

I ship carefully, usually with a cardboard piece to stiffen the envelope, and I'm happy to combine shipping if you order more than one item.

In fact, I'm considering this as a really good option for some of those 10 granddaughters of ours.

But enough of that. The pattern, Simplicity 6810, also contains a mouse and a bear, with all the funk and playfulness of the 60's fully present.

The pattern is uncut, and the instruction sheet is there, everything just as it was when it was printed, in 1966.

I ship carefully, and am happy to combine shipping if you purchase more than one item!

And a dolman sleeve is SO flattering!

The pattern isn't dated, but is very vintage--from back in the days when there wasn't any printing on the tissue, just little punched holes.

I hesitate to say "Size 14", because when this pattern was printed, that was not what we'd call a size 12 today. The bust measurement it gives is 32". That said, I know that I always bought a size smaller than I actually wore, because they seemed to run rather large. (Not in the 50's. I was just a kid then, but it was true for a long, long time.)

The envelope is a little ripped around the top, and this pattern has been used, but it appears to be all there, including the instruction sheet.

I ship carefully, usually with a cardboard piece to stiffen the envelope, and I'm happy to combine shipping if you order more than one item.

This pattern makes up into a pinafore dress, with or without a ruffled hem. It buttons up the back, so it's good not only for wearing over another, longer, dress in cooler weather, or for wearing as is, when it's warm.

There's no copyright date on the envelope, but the style and the fact that there's no bar code place it in the 70's for me.

This pattern has been cut, but the pieces all appear to be there.
$6.00
This classic little coat is adorable! What little girl wouldn't love wearing it and its matching bonnet-styled hat, and having the cozy snow pants to wear with it?

The pattern fits sizes 6, and is very vintage--from the era of little holes in the paper rather than printing. It has been cut, bit all the pieces appear to be there. Click on the photo of the envelope for a larger size where you can see measurements, yardages, and fabric suggestions.

I take care to package patterns (and everything else!) so that they arrive in as good condition as when they leave my hands, and I'm happy to combine shipping.

The catalog description when I ordered them said they were "purple iris". I think of them as black, though, with a sort of rainbow finish, like spilled gasoline on pavement. (Maybe I'm crazy, but aside from environmental issues, I always thought that looked pretty, so it stands to reason I'd like these beads, lol.)

The beads are good-sized (coin in picture for reference), measuring 6mm X 16mm.

You'll get a strand of 25 beads for $1.85 + shipping.

I'm happy to combine shipping!

Vintage Butterick Step In Dress with Drawstring Waist, Size 12

$4.50
Check out the BIG button on this step-in dress! Isn't it great? This would be easy to change into either a sheath or empire waist dress, as the bodice and skirt pieces are full-length. Just leave off the drawstring casing, or place it higher.

The pattern says Size 12, but sizes have changed over the years, and the measurements on the back of the pattern indicate it would fit today's size 4-6. This would be an easy style, in my opinion, to alter, and you could go up or down a size from there.

The pattern envelope, as you see from the photos, has a few tears, mostly on the flap, but the pattern itself has been folded carefully. It has been cut, but I assume the pieces are all there.

I take care to package patterns (and everything else!) so that they arrive in as good condition as when they leave my hands, and I'm happy to combine shipping.
