Ned the Needle Felt Horse can be Framed Art for a shadow box, Magnet, Broach or Pendant for a Necklace. Ned is 3" from nose to withers and 2" from ear tip to bottom of neck and because of the weight wool as a sculpture medium, it is be amazingly light. Nicely detailed sorrel horse sculpture can be prepared for a shadow box mounting, pin, magnet or hand stitched seed bead bail can be added.

This hand handmade fur-baby heads is felted very densely, creating high end, quality artwork and detailed to breed specifics by an artist that has shown in the dog & horse breed ring and volunteers with multiple specie, breeds and mixes every week.

This is a needle felt head of an American Pit Bull Terrier that can be a pin or a magnet and is 2" from neck to nose.

Roman is a dark brown pittie with a black nose looking for a home and to pretty up any outfit (jacket, dress, purse, etc.). Roman is a soft & wooly conversation piece who, as with a TRUE pit bull, tough exterior with a mushy soft inside, is EXTREMELY people friendly. Natural undyed corridale wool roving is used for this pin and the back is finished to match the front.

These awesome, handmade fur-baby heads are felted very densely, creating high end, quality artwork and detailed to breed specifics by an artist that has shown in the dog & horse breed ring and volunteers with multiple specie, breeds and mixes every week.

This Bucket Purse is a proud FIRST PLACE Barry County Fair Winner in the recycled department and is restyled from a Brown Argyle Sweater that has been felted to a thick fuzzy felt. The Bucket Purse in shades of browns, tans, grays with a touch of blue for a stripe will be a lovely and versatile addition to any wardrobe. The two handles are 14" cut from the same sweater and stitched into a rolled handle.

It is lined with heavy tan satin (leftover from an old winning 4-H/Make It With Wool competition garment). Due to the weight and type of satin used, pockets are from the same sweater and 3"widex4"deep and 4 1/4" widex4"deep. The feel of the fuzzy felt versus the smoothness of the satin makes this purse a delight to your senses.

The perfect size for a full compliment of girl stuff with style & presence, this purse is 13 1/2" deep, the body is 9 1/2"wide and flares to 15" at the top. The bottom is stiffened and a 3 1/2"x9" oval.

The "Eating Summer Coneflower" small tote is from a recycled blue jean leg accented by a needle felted design corriedale sheep silhouette eating a yellow coneflower.

The tote lined in sparkly green is 7 1/4" wide by 7" deep with a 1" bottom. The double handle is 15 1/2" yellow, green and orange ribbon handle, this handle has a 7" drop and fits perfectly over your lower arm.

This Palomino Horse Portrait is needle felted directly on a beautiful chocolate brown felt purse. The design covers 3 3/4" deep by 3 1/2" wide and the raised design horse head has a rose garland necklace. This horse is at the base of the handle and will show on the front as you wear the purse.

The inspiration for this horse head is a picture of www.ElmCreekCountry.etsy.com buckskin's sire. It took me several months of scouring shops for the perfect wool sweater to needle felt this beautiful horse on.

Upcycled from a wool sweater with a multi-colored strip (burgandy, tan, cream, deep turquoise, gray), the finished bucket purse size is 17 1/2" wide and 12" deep with a 6" circle bottom with 40" handle. Handle length is perfect for wearing across the body, if another handle length is desired please contact me.

The lining is heavy vintage satin from an 1980's "Make It With Wool" garment with 2 pockets. Pockets are self wool scraps; 1 3/4" x 5" pen pocket and a 3 1/2" bottom x 3 3/4" deep x 4 1/2" top.

Care: Gently handwash if needed.

Each dog is made without the use of patterns or kits. The sculpting is done by poking the wool fibers thousands of times until they interlock and felt together and the artistry of the animal’s shape and personality appear. As with any art form, sometimes the “woolies” takes on a life of its own and leads the artist to its final beautiful sculpture that can not be exactly copied or mass produced, even by the artist. And believe me, I have tried to make the same animal twice and the wool wants to do what the wool wants to do, even with me poking it into submission.

The Fantasy Flower Booty Bag is recycled from a pair of worn 3T boys Levi's with a 18 1/2" striped ribbon handle. The purse is 11 1/2"long x 1"deep x 9" tall and a 9 1/2" opening, with a total of 6 pockets for your sorting pleasure.

I have needle felted a Yellow Fantasy Daisy with a burgundy center & light pink swirls on the center and petals to the front of these cute jeans. The burgundy roving appears again to accent the daisy leaves and on the heart on the rear pocket.

This bag has full jean pockets in the front, a tiny watch pocket (1 3/4" x 3" deep) perfect for a tube of lipstick, the rear pockets are 2 1/4"x3". An interior pocket is 5 1/2" wide by 4" deep.

This bag is lined with a sparkly green cotton and the interior pocket is sky blue canvas.

This is my Cherry Blossom Design, inspired by oriental design, Cherry Blossom interchangeable pendant is an "Art On The Move" original design by Pit Bull Lady Designs.

The inspiration for this dust bunny scampers out of the pages of a Jayne Castle's romantic-suspense with a paranormal twist series based on the planet of Harmony. Where dust bunnies prove to be loyal pets and ferocious hunter-protectors.

Vincent is a large wad of lint looking harmless as a ball of fuzz from under the bed and who's bright blue eyes sparkle innocently from a tangle of gray wool. He scampers around on 6 legs begging pretzels and paints large impressionistic canvases when not protecting his lovely owner from the dangers of a extinct alien underground society, energy ghosts and criminal humans.

Vincent is 6 1/2" long, 5" wide and 4 1/2" tall with a wire armature that is covered by needle felted gray wool.

Remember the Needle Felted Portraits are for the adult collector and not toys. The edges and back of the animal are fully felted and finished.

A special barbed needle to felt with and several different high quality fibers - Corridale, Merino, llama, alpaca, angora, mohair and other animal fibers to achieve the correct colors of each dog breed as much as possible. Each dog is made without the use of patterns or kits. The sculpting is done by poking the wool fibers thousands of times until they interlock and felt together and the artistry of the animal’s shape and personality appear. As with any art form, sometimes the “woolies” takes on a life of its own and leads the artist to its final beautiful sculpture that can not be exactly copied or mass produced, even by the artist. And believe me, I have tried to make the same animal twice and the wool wants to do what the wool wants to do, even with me poking it into submission.

CUSTOM ORDERS: If desired, I would love to work with you to create a (OOAK) One Of A Kind sculpture from your pictures, description, and animal's breed standard. I take great joy in being conformationally correct as possible with these lovely animals. Realize that needle felting doesn't photograph well, it is a tactile art that requires touch and in person viewing for the full experience of felt sculpture. Curly Vine Pumpkin Pendant for Necklace Needle Felt

Curly Vine Pumpkin Pendant is needle felted on an natural shade dark brown base with green vines & leaves. This dark base makes it look like the dark of evening has fallen on the pumpkin patch and the pumpkin & vines glow in the headlights of the farm vehicles.

Curly Vine Pumpkin Pendant is on a dark piece of felt that is 1 1/4" by just shy of 2", with part of the pumpkin and a portion of each of the two leaves hanging off the edges to create a design that is is 1 1/2" wide by 2 1/4" long. One leaf is curled over the top of the pendant that will allow it to be threaded on a chain or ribbon. The pumpkin is made of 4 shades of orange and the vines and leaves are from 3 shades of green.

THE PENDANT PICTURE IS AN EXAMPLE. . . this not the finished pendant. The silver colored ring in the pictures is just to show where the chain goes. This item can be easily converted to a pin, magnet broach or shadow box framed in 1/2" deep frame.

Needle felt Pumpkin Sculpture or Pin Cushion Pretty Pumpkin Decoration

Yes, It is Fall but this pumpkin looks fresh off the vine all year round.

"Pretty Pumpkin" is stuffed with felted sweater scraps. . . new and recycled, pretty and useful, what more does anyone want.

Beautiful,orange, symetrical pumpkin with twisting tendrals of vines curling down it's side, the stem is bright green with a twisted stem just like it has been freshly twisted off the stem for your pleasure. "Pretty Pumpkin" is 5 1/4" round and 3 1/2" tall, the top of the stem is almost 6" tall. The leaf is 3" by almost 4" long with the waved edge of a pumpkin leaf.

The reason I made the first pin cushion was to sort sewing machine needle sizes as I change them between material sizes. The fun of sewing silk, wool felt, jeans and fake fur on the same hardy machine created a new need for me to fill.

The filling is recycled felted sweater wool, felt scraps and batting. Shades of orange roving create a lovely felt sculpture that is accented with deep indentations to create 7 sections for needle sorting if that is your pleasure.

Care: Gently handwash if needed.

Needle felt Guinea Pigs make their first run to an art show and loved it. High pitched squeals & stamping feet are their way of showing excitement, luckily the needle felt one are bred to be quiet.

In the pictures are a little tan & dark brown with a white blaze on it's cute face is Minny an American Cavy and the black & white GP is modeled after my son's Teddy, Drama. Drama's little butt which has a ying/yang markings on it. They have black bead eyes and sculpty clay feet conformationally correct with 3 toes on the rear and 4 toes on the front, these little ones are ready to run and play. The black and white Drama is 2 1/2" long 1 1/2" tall (rump height just like real GP's) and the tan and brown Minny is 3" long and 1 3/4" tall.

Your request will be a Soft, Wool Custom Portraiture Commission of your beloved fur-baby made without the use of patterns or kits, this is truly a One of a Kind sculpture. Approximately the size of the above listings. Short hair, smooth coat breeds are $30.00, Long haired breeds are $45 and Rosetted, speciality coated breeds are $40.00. For an extra $5 you can have a removable Taco Holloween Outfit made to dress your favorite Cavy.

These awesome, handmade cavies are felted very densely, creating high end, quality artwork and detailed to breed specifics by an artist that has shown in the dog & horse breed ring and volunteers with multiple specie, breeds and mixes every week.

For custom order portraits of your favorite pet or show animal, I will be working directly off of photographs that you supply, pictures must clearly show markings & profile of the animal. The description of the animal’s temperament helps clarify the vision of the animal not seen in pictures and allows the animal’s shape and personality to appear. A portion of the fiber for sculpture can be from your own animal's hair to make this a very special keepsake for you. Please allow 2-3 weeks for completion from the date of deposit.

Needle felting is the process of agitating washed wool roving with a wickedly sharp barb needle and sculpting it into shape. A special barbed needle to felt with and several different high quality fibers - Corridale, Merino, llama, alpaca, angora, mohair and other animal fibers to achieve the correct colors of each dog breed as much as possible. Each cavy is made without the use of patterns or kits. The sculpting is done by poking the wool fibers thousands of times until they interlock and felt together and the artistry of the animal’s shape and personality appear. As with any art form, sometimes the “woolies” takes on a life of its own and leads the artist to its final beautiful sculpture that can not be exactly copied or mass produced, even by the artist.

Remember the Needle Felted Woolies are for the adult collector and not toys.

Needle Felted Fantasy Daisy flowers in White and Pink with yellow, purple & burgandy detailing in wool roving from my aunt's Sheep Farm @ www.mar-ritafarm.com. This is just a cutie of a purse to be worn on your arm.

The body of the purse is medium blue with worn hem opening and a more faded blue for the handles. The reverse side is undecorated. This purse is unlined at the moment but can be lined with a choice of cotton, velcro closure and 2 pockets for an extra $8 include a zipper for $3 more. The purse measures 2 1/5" deep x 7 1/2" wide and 8" tall. The handles are decorated with white rick-rack and 15" long.

BARON BARTOW BEAGLE, having just returned from his afternoon excursion around the field to see what trouble his nose could find, is now content to allow is household servants bestow the most tasty morsels from their nightly meal upon him. The next on his agenda is to check out the housekeeper’s skill in fluffing his pillow for him to make his warm, nightly nest on the couch to watch a little TV during his nightly petting.

BARTOW BEAGLE is a shaded chestnut with slight white blaze muzzle with a black nose looking for a home and to pretty up any outfit (jacket, dress, purse, etc.). BARTOW BEAGLE is a soft & woolly conversation piece . This is a needle felt head of a BEAGLE that can be a pendant, pin or a magnet and is 2" from ear to ear. A Combination of natural undyed and dyed wool roving, Llama and Alpaca fibers are used for this pin and to finish the back matching the front.

Hungry Henry, the Needle Felt Barn Owl sits on a River Birch fence post wrapped with rusted wire. . . Owl Sculpture is 2" tall and the whole sculpture is 3 1/2" tall on a 2" x 3" weathered wood base.

I used many shades of white and gray to create this amazing little bird, who is looking for a new location to enjoy his perch. With all the Pit Bulls (rodent dogs) running this neighborhood, rodent pickings are getting pretty slim and he is getting testy because of missing a few meals.

The Half A Booty Bag is recycled from half a pair of adult jeans. The purse is 8 1/2" long x 1 1/2" deep x 9 1/2" tall, with a total of 5 pockets for your sorting pleasure.

I have needle felted an Orange Barred Sulphur on the front of this cute jean for the NFEST Challenge. The Yellow and Orange roving joins to the the center to create a butterfly body of oranges, purples & burgany. The waist band is decorated with a crinkle neon fabric shash and there is brass colored rings are attached by belt loops awaiting a purse strap of jean material. The purse strap will be added after purchase whatever length you decide.

This bag has full jean pocket in the front, a small watch pocket (3 1/2"deep x 2"), the rear pockets are 5 1/2"deep x 4 1/2"wide. An interior pocket is 4 1/2" wide by 4" deep and an extra large 6 1/2"wide by 9 1/2" deep.

This bag is lined with a sparkly green cotton with large pocket out of lining material and the smaller interior pocket is sherbert stripe canvas.

My Dragon Items were designed and needle felted while I was listening to the audio books of Eon Dragoneye and series Eragon, Eldest & Brisingr. While the main dragon characters were not the same color as my jewelry, these stories inspired the designs.

Needle Felted Dragon Eye Pendant of Green & Firey Orange firmly stitched to Silvertone Lobster Clasp. The Eye's measure 1 1/2"x1", the total length of the pendant encluding the lobster clasp is 1 1/1/2" and the back of the pendant is fully felted and finished. The length of the black suede leather cording & chain is 26" but can be sized smaller. Plus sized.

This is an extremely light necklace because of the leather cording & needle felt wool, the pendant is attached to a lobster clasp and can be attached to any necklace of your choice.

Tired of bent pages, missing slips of paper, covers of books flapping open in your tote? These Bookmarks will solve many problems. . . elastic cords hold your place within the book and between reading, 1 strap holds the book closed.

Recycled wool garment has been wet felted, accented with needle felt designs and wedded to a scrap of blue jeans. The elastic cording is threaded thru vintage buttons from my mom's & grandmother's button jars and tied in a bow. The cording is adjustable with a quick retying of the bow for large craft books or small romance novels. . . The blue jean bases range from 4" by 7 1/2" to 2 1/2" by 6".

Don't want to share the cover of what you are reading, then order one of the larger bookmarks and the cover art (or artless) can be obscured from prying eyes. Special orders are welcome, otherwise specify your desired bookmark from pictures. For an additional $15, you can have a profile sculpture of your favorite pet or animal replace the Alien or Monster Art.

Easter Cottontail is a Wild Rabbit portrait and is made as a Magnet Broach but can be modified as a Pendant for a Necklace. Bunny measures 1" tall by 1 1/2" wide and because of wool as a sculpture medium, it is amazingly light.

Nicely detailed Wild Rabbit sculpture can be prepared for a shadow box mounting, or handstitched seedbead bail can be added, it has a magnet attached to be used as a Magnet Broach. Which has a corresponding fabric covered magnet that firmly attaches this bunny to your chosen garment.

This hand handmade fur-baby heads is felted very densely, creating high end, quality artwork and detailed to breed specifics by an artist that has shown in the dog & horse breed ring and volunteers with multiple specie, breeds and mixes every week thru 4-H.

This 2" Tan Rabbit is firmly felted onto the silver tone links of this necklace, so as to never lose his seat on the swing or his grip on his precious carrot.

The silver tone chain is 25" long with a simple toggle clasp. The rabbit's body is 2" from bottom to ear tip and is felted around a wire armature.

The portrait is 3" from eye to neck and 2 1/2" from ear tip to throatlatch, needle felted from a combination of natural and dyed corriedale, merino and llama fibers. He is just waiting to hear what your desires are for his hardware, if he is training to be a pin, you have a choice of Magnet Broach or gold tone pin.

Just for fun a Faux Beaver Skin Rug to warm your tootsies. Fake fur and Suede fabric are combined to create this interesting rug with a stuffed tail.

Real Beaver Skin is just an oval of plush fur but for my outdoor loving guys, I add the tail to make a truely unique rug. The Rug is fully lined with the same suede used on the tail. The beaver skin measures approximately 30"x 24" with a tail of 12"x 15", for a combined length of 45".

The measurements are approximate because each rug is individually made at time of order, you can specify a specific size if needed.

Three Needle Felted beads wrapped in wire for an interesting take on a traditional necklace.

"X & O" decorate the needle felted pendant bead before it was wrapped with silver tone wire, two smaller wire wrapped beads sit just above the toogle all on a silvertone chain.

Necklace length is 28" (71cm) and a 3" (7 1/2cm)pendant with toggle in the front.

Cinnamon is a Old Family Red Nose American Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home and to pretty up any outfit (jacket, dress, purse, etc.). Cinnamon is a soft & wooly Conversation starter who, as with a TRUE pit bull, tough exterior with a mushy soft inside, is EXTREMELY people friendly.

The Old Family is a line of APBT that is red nosed, gold eyed and a piece of history. An exclusive line that claims to trace their lineage from a few red nosed dogs imported from Ireland and now registered with UKC and/or ADBA. As well as the color differences, the Old Family Reds have a bit longer nose, for the most part a more intense personality and conformation that holds up well over time. In other words, I found that they might not be the first dogs to champion in the conformation ring but they would champion against younger dogs when most of their original competition no longer had the figure to compete conformation or work wise. They stand the test of time and abuse of working (obedience, agility, hunting & farm).

The needle felted pin measures 3" x 2 1/4" with a golden eye and red nose like her name sake. Unlike a real adult dog, her new owner gets the choice of cropped ears (upright), prick (upright with tip over) or rose ears.

The Look At Me Pendant is 1 3/4" circle needle felted blue and red wool roving. the swirl design is outlined with hand stitched, golden, glass seed beads. These beads also form the top bail of the pendant, a solid looking piece that is amazingly light will have everyone "Looking At You" when you wear it.

The goldtone necklace is 18" to 21" in length with an easy to use lobster clasp. The back of the pendant is fully felted in blue wool to match the front.

A special barbed needle to felt with and several different high quality fibers - Corridale, Merino, llama, alpaca, angora, mohair and other animal fibers to achieve the correct colors. The sculpting is done by poking the wool fibers thousands of times until they interlock and felt together and the artistry of the animal’s shape and personality appear. As with any art form, sometimes the “woolie” takes on a life of its own and leads the artist to its final beautiful sculpture that can not be exactly copied or mass produced, even by the artist. And believe me, I have tried to make the same design twice and the wool wants to do what the wool wants to do, even with me poking it into submission.

Tired of bent pages, missing slips of paper, covers of books flapping open in your tote? This Bookmark will solve many problems. . . elastic cords hold your place and between reading, 1 strap holds the book closed.

Recycled wool garment has been wet felted, accented with needle felt designs and wedded to a scrap of blue jeans. The elastic cording is threaded thru vintage buttons from my mom's & grandmother's button jars and tied in a bow. The cording is adjustable with a quick retying of the bow for large craft books or small romance novels. . . The blue jean bases range from 4" by 7 1/2" to 2 1/2" by 6".

Don't want to share the cover of what you are reading, then order one of the larger bookmarks and the cover art (or artless) can be obscured from prying eyes. Special orders are welcome, otherwise specify your desired bookmark from pictures. For an additional $25, you can have a profile sculpture of your favorite pet or animal.

Remember the Needle Felts are for the adult collector and not toys.
