It is felted with a needle.The length is about 40 inches, but it can be curled to any length you like.
White calla flower and bud with leaf are attached on the ends of the stem. Soft flower in soft tones.It could even be a wedding necklace or hair peace.

I wet felted this BLOOMING TREE OF LIFE tapestry from a beautiful hand dyed wool roving first and then added some details with needle felting. It has many blue flowers and five birds. The size is about 17 by 13 inches.
It would look good in the child's and adult's room. It can be hung at the bed even in earthquake places, because it is so light and soft.
This tapestry has a wooden dowel sewn on the back and a yarn rope, so you can hang it.
I hope you will like it as much as I enjoyed felting it.

If you love fairies, trees, and birds, you will be glad to find all of them in this colorful handfelted tapestry. It is about 14 by 20 inches - one of the larger tapestries I created. I wet felted it first from a beautiful hand dyed wool roving, and then needle felted the details with felting needle. It takes a lot of time, yet I enjoy every minute of it.It has a wood dowel and a wool string attached to the back, so you can hang it, but, if you wish you can frame it too.It can be surface washed.

I wet felted this tapestry from wool with some silk fiber accents. Very light and soft. On the other side of the tapestry I attached wood dowel and wool string to hang it. Or you can frame it, if you like it better that way.

This morning I was inspired to create poppies-one of my favorite flowers. They are wet and needle felted from a very soft wool roving. They are about 3.5 to 4 inch in diameter, and can be used as a brooch on your jacket, bag, hat, belt or anything else. I can also make them into hair barrette. Let me know, when you buy, which one of the three you choose, and what is your choice- would you like it to be a brooch or a hair barrette, or maybe left plain if you plan to sew it onto something.
