This beautiful necklace features a highly detailed orchid flower on fine gold chain.

It has a clasp fastening (in perfect working order) and you can move the orchid up and down the chain to have the two ends longer or shorter. very unusal and very elegant. Has some patina due to it's age, however the silver coming through looks nice and even on the petals and looks like detailing. Most likely from the 1940s/1950s. Gold plated silver metal.

Orchid is gold plated metal and measures 3/4" hgh/wide and the chain is 20" at it's longest.

This beautiful mix of beads has a lovely feel. No two beads are the same but they are all sympathetic colours: pearls, frosted, brass, red and amber.

Only one made.

Total necklace length 17". There are 9 beads in total: 2 acrylic pearl; 2 acrylic red; 1 acrylic forsted; 2 glass frosted; 1 brass. The largest bead measures 1" wide and the smallest measures 1/4" wide. The chain is 2mm brass curb chain, clasp fastening.
