This horse is cantering right out of a fairytale, onto a necklace! This pendant depicts a Friesian horse, which with its glossy black coat and abundant mane/tail and leg "feathers", this breed reminds many of a hero's or knight's mount from another time. The pendant is hand-polished and is more shiny than may appear in photos (due to avoiding glare). It hangs from a classically simple black Greek leather cord, accented by four free-sliding sterling silver beads.

I hand-formed the Fine Silver pendant from metal clay and impressed it with an image I designed. Snowflake Earrings with Vintage Crystal, sterling

These wintry earrings feature silver snowflakes topped with 10mm faceted clear beads with an AB coating (so some parts of the bead are iridescent). They are finished off with earwires accented with an Austrian crystal bead (also AB coated).

The large beads were carefully chosen from a vintage necklace that has been in my family for several generations. Due to their wonderful sparkle and sharp cuts, I suspect they are crystal (instead of ordinary glass), but can't be sure.

A silver horse head charm adorns a delicate diamond-cut curb chain, accented with two faceted tourmaline beads dangling from matching chain. A flat figure-8 chain features smooth handcut tourmaline rondelles at regular intervals. They are designed to be worn together as a layered necklace, and can also be worn separately, for three different looks. I find myself drawn to tourmaline again and again. I love the natural pinks and greens and dark teals, a combination that is all at once feminine, elegant, and earthy. One faceted tourmaline stone is pink, the other is a dark teal blue-green. I set the rondelle shaped tourmalines on sterling wire between lengths of chain, and they alternate between pink, light green, and dark (almost black or with blue-green tones). The beads are irregular and vary from translucent to opaque, with internal fractures as is typical of tourmaline. I say this so you don't wonder if there is something wrong with it when you receive it.

While these emeralds are not the same grade as used in fine jewelry (rings for example), lower grade Emeralds are nevertheless a rich and wonderful stone. These Emerald chips are full of natural color variation that I love, which is shown off well in this necklace of polished chips. The chips are graduated in size, with the larger ones near the pendant, and smaller ones at the back. The pendant is hand-polished and is more shiny than may show in photos. The chips are polished and comfortable to wear, and overall this necklace is more lightweight than you may expect.

Larimar is hard to find, it comes from only one small area in the Dominican Republic, and is my very favorite stone with its beautiful aqua "ocean" and white "clouds". This slightly irregular, nicely polished bead includes plenty of ocean, and also has some white clouds which are more on the bottom and the side not shown. (Larimar beads are typically a bit irregular from the hand-cutting process, and an effort to preserve as much of the material as possible.) From my personal stash of Larimar beads!

The charm is 7/16 inch across (just under 1/2 inch). I call the image on this charm "Joy", and it comes from my own pen and ink drawing. The Larimar bead is nice quality (not reconstituted or low grade with poor color), and is about 6mm across and 3.5mm thick.

What a lush green necklace! Here's a unique statement necklace that won't go out of style. Six strands of high quality matte dark green seed beads are mixed with random green Aventurine chips, rounds, rondelles, and Thai Silver beads with a stamped veined leaf design. Sterling silver twisted wire toggle clasp is to be worn in front, and is adorned with 4 leaf dangles on sterling wires. The dangles feature Thai Silver leaves and one carved Aventurine leaf. A lovely necklace for the nature lover, with just the right amount of sparkle! Made from natural Moss Agate, a stone that has a clear agate base with dark green moss-like inclusions, which makes me think of tree branches in an evergreen forest. I arranged the beads so the darker ones are at the front by the pendant, and they gradually become more light and transparent toward the clasp. Some areas also have a white-ish element, creating a blueish green color. Really a neat stone with natural variation! Large polished pendant is unique, no two are exactly alike. Hung on a strand of 6mm round beads, all in natural Moss Agate, accented by 3-sided Thai silver beads stamped with a veined leaf design. Thai Silver is handmade and more pure than Sterling. These Sterling Silver and Red Jasper earrings remind me of the red desert rocks near Sedona (or Arches National Park), very fitting for a pair with a little bit of Western style.

I call this piece Rock Garden because it reminds me of moss growing on rocks in an ancient garden. Large 40mm 4-sided natural Serpentine stone beads make a unique necklace. This Serpentine is an opaque lime or yellowish green (one might call it a muted chartreuse) and has a black matrix. The stone beads are accented with black glass beads and Thai Silver decorated "cornerless" cubes. In the center is a larger matching Thai bead. This set makes me think of a garden in full bloom with purple flowers! Necklace is made with natural Amethyst 6mm round beads and light, white-banded Amethyst tumbled faceted nugget pendant... Surrounded by natural Rainbow Fluorite chips in shades of purple, blueish green, and clear like dew... Blooming with Thai silver flower dangles! Lovely and refreshing. Earrings are all Amethyst stone (both round and chip beads), with matching Thai silver flower dangles. Thai silver is handmade, and is more pure than sterling. Necklace clasp and all wire is sterling silver. Necklace is strung on 49 strand coated beading wire for durability and flexibility.

Lovely pair of earrings made from Aquamarine chip beads. Bottom chip is dangled on a jump ring with two twisted Sterling Silver accents. The Aquamarine used is heat-treated for color, not dyed. All sterling silver. Stones vary from translucent to semi-opaque.

Beaded portion hangs about 35mm from earwire, for total length of about 50mm (2 inches).

If you love Aquamarine or this icy blue color like I do, then this is the necklace for you! Five tumbled Aquamarine nuggets (about 18mm long each) are surrounded by Aquamarine chips, accented with textured Thai Silver rondelles and freshwater Pearls. Nuggets are a combination of translucent and opaque with some white. Chips are mostly translucent and transparent, some are opaque. All Aquamarine used is natural or heat-treated, not dyed. Strung on strong 49 strand coated beading wire for durability and flexibility. Finished off with a Thai silver toggle clasp with a little stamped decoration that coordinates nicely with the rondelles. (note that Thai Silver is handmade, and uses Silver more pure than Sterling.)

Lovely, unique earrings! Muted grayish pink Ocean Jasper drops on gold-fill wire, topped with pale pink Peruvian Opal beads, accented with gold vermeil daisy spacers. Would look wonderful with a soft pink sweater or as a feminine touch for office wear! On gold-fill posts. Earrings hang about 1 1/4 inches long from posts. If you prefer fishhook style earwires, or solid gold earwires, they can be changed out, please inquire (may be at additional charge) before purchase.

Notes about the materials used: gold-fill is higher quality and more durable than standard gold-plate. Vermeil is heavy gold over sterling silver (much higher quality than gold-plated base metals). Peruvian Opal doesn't have the iridescent sheen of the Opal that most people are familiar with, but it comes in lovely sherbet pink and aqua blue and is much sought-after in stone beads.
