The heart is a mixture of silvered and non silvered glass. I created it off mandrel so the only hole is through the heart. I like how coming down front the hole on the first picture the glass color looks like a feather. 51mm x 35mm x 7mm

I used a glass called Black Nebula. I pressed it into a heart shape. I used the flame to bring out an iridescent glow to the bead. It looks different from every angle.

I have been wanting to try a lentil press for a while. All of my beads are free formed except for two older hearts, so it was a big decision to try another press.

The hole is from side to side and the overall shape is the lentil shape. I made custom cane and stringers for the flowers and stems or vines. I left the flowers raised in this one and the texture is great. 30mm x 26mm x 12mm

It is so hard to describe this bead. It looks different from every direction. I could not get a picture to show it's true beauty. The surface has a mirrored iridescent sheen that has blues and purples and silver. Then you turn it again and you can see just a touch or green. This is a beautiful bead. It has a black base rolled in fine silver. I melted the silver in an added silvered ivory stringers. The bead is encased in clear to give it depth.31mm x 18mm at the widest point.

All of the glass items listed was handcrafted by me in my studio in Jacksonville, Florida. Each item upon completion are immediately placed into my digitally controlled kiln and annealed with a preprogrammed annealing schedule based on the type of glass used. The items are annealed to reduce the natural occurrence of stress that builds up during the process of creation. Once the annealing process has completed, the beads are cleaned to remove bead release and are inspected for imperfections. Any item not meeting my standards will not be sold. Even with proper annealing, they are created out of glass, and like all glass they can chip, crack, and break if treated roughly or abused. Please be careful with small children and pets as they may pose a chocking hazard if placed in the mouth.

This bead reminds me of aquatic plants floating in the water. The transparent glass is a pale green. I wrapped coil of Parrot Green around the base I added more transparent green, I then added a multi colored yellow twisty around the bead and melted it in. Looking into this bead would be like an up close look into the galaxy. The base is black rolled in silver. I then added dots of silvered ivory stringers. I heated the bead well and stretch the dots to make them oblong. The silver looks like distant stars. 37 mm x 17.5.

The white base was capped with the palest transparent blue glass then rolled in fine silver foil. I then added a layer of the same pale blue then randomly wrapped it with silvered glass. I used the flame to bring out the beautiful shades of iridescent blues and purples.46mm x 14mm

I applied a design made out of a custom stringer of a special black glass that I rolled in fine silver foil. I did not like the way it looked and mixed up the glass. That's what I did with the glass in this bead. I used a beautiful shade of yellow that a the slightest tingh of orange. I then added several different shades of green. When the glass was glowing a bright orange I pulled and pushed the glass around to create the pattern. 52mm x 11mm

The clear base was wrapped in fine silver foil. I then layered the bead with the richest silver glass. I played in the fire adding and removing the color until I liked the way it looked. The silver foil peeks out in several placed on the bead giving it a little organic feel. 46mm x 11.5mm

The base of this bead is red I then added spirals of opaque and transparent pink to the bead I rolled it in silver foil and added more transparent pink. Part of the silver foil was melted in to the bead and other parts I left to shine through the pink. 33mm x 8.5mm

Silvered Frit Lampwork Focal Bead

The two toned base was wrapped in fine silver foil and then rolled in silvered frit. The reaction between the silver and the glass is beautiful. The frit spots have a nice iridescent sheen. 48mm x 12mm

I call this one Pastel Whispers because float over the base bead like whispers in the wind. I had a hard time getting a good picture of the bead, the pictures are either to light or to dark. I used Copper Green as a base and wrapped a spiral layer of a silvered glass Nynx. I pulled the rings of Nynx to create the feathered look. The bead has a beautiful sheen and iridescence which shows best in the first picture.Every other stripe has this sheen. The bead looks different every time you move it. 33mm x 22mm x 8mm

The clear base was wrapped in fine silver foil and then heavily encased with a silvered glass. I used the flame to bring out the multiple colors from the glass. The base has a rich amber glow which changes color depending on the light or movement. 53mm x 12mm

Rose Quartz and Gold Foil Lampwork Focal Bead

The Rose Quartz was wrapped with a delicate layer of 22k gold foil. I then encased in another glass of the same name that is transparent. the inner bead has the glow of the rose quartz. The bead appear very pale in this picture but it is not. I could not get a picture that shows the true rich color of the rose quartz glass. 43mm x 15mm

A Cold Heart Morns Lampwork Pendant

This beautiful cobalt blue glass has a drop of the richest red added in the shape of a tear drop. I wanted to express that the coldest heart can morn or feel sorrow for others.

Green Swirl Lampwork Focal Bead

The bead is pea green with edp pink and copper green. The silver in the edp turned to a silverish white matte texture amongst the swirls of green. I added just a small touch of silver foil.THere is a small divot on the back side of the bead, I really don't think that it detracts from the bead.28mm x 27mm x 10mm

When silver foil or a heavy silvered glass is added to glass then mixed in it sometimes creates divots or slight uneven spots on the surface.

All of the glass items listed was handcrafted by me in my studio in Jacksonville, Florida. Each item upon completion are immediately placed into my digitally controlled kiln and annealed with a preprogrammed annealing schedule based on the type of glass used. The items are annealed to reduce the natural occurrence of stress that builds up during the process of creation. Once the annealing process has completed, the beads are cleaned to remove bead release and are inspected for imperfections. Any item not meeting my standards will not be sold. Even with proper annealing, they are created out of glass, and like all glass they can chip, crack, and break if treated roughly or abused. Please be careful with small children and pets as they may pose a chocking hazard if placed in the mouth.

The glass that I am currently using is Lauscha, Effetre, Vetrofond, CIM, ASK and Double Helix. These brands have transparent, opaque, opalino, alabaster and silvered colors. I use fine silver, gold and copper leaf and foil. I also use fine silver wire. All of these add their own unique designs to the beads and each react differently with the glass.

Love Thaws a Frozen Heart Lampwork Pendant

I love this beautiful red color. Red glass is one of the hardest colors to work with. You have to fight with it to make it look red.
I etched a little more that half of this heart to make it look like it was frosted or frozen. The shiny part is the heart thawing from good love.
The heart became frozen when it was exposed to love gone wrong. 38mm x 23mm x 10mm

Organic Flow Lampwork Focal Bead

The cobalt base was encased in clear and then wrapped in fine silver foil. I then added a gold laden glass Rubino Oro to the surface. The rubino and the silver create a wonderful reaction. I love the flow of the glass in this bead. 43mm x 14mm

Feathered Silvered Tab Lampwork Focal Bead

The ivory base was wrapped in a full sheet of fine silver foil. I then added silvered glass as well ad transparent glass. I heated the bead up and pulled the glass into the design that you see. I used the flame to bring out the blues and greens in the silvered glass. 42mm x 16mm x 8mm

The base is made from a glass called raku. You can create shades with this glass from one end of the rainbow to the other. It all depends on how you work it. I created custom canes out of several different colors for the flowers and the stems.

Reduced Iris on an Organic Base Lampwork Focal Bead

The base of this bead is ivory and marbled avocado. I used a custom made flower cane that I used four different colors to create the multi-toned colors. I also used a custom made cane to create the stems and leaves. The base of the bead has a very pretty organic look.

There is a slight indentation on the back of the bead that does not detract from it beauty. I will however reduce the price. 35mm x 33mm x 10mm
