This pencil box measures 4 1/2" tall and 3" across and could just as easily work on your dresser to hold your makeup brushes!

Recycled circuit boards have been repurposed into funky Christmas tree ornaments which also function as sun catchers!

What's also quite cool about these ornaments is that the 'rims' are vintage metal bangle bracelets that we purchased during a buying trip to Pakistan in the very early 1980's when it was safe to travel to such exotic places!

We've taken the epoxy fiberglass resin inner layers that a circuit board is made of, cut them into circles and placed them in 'frames' that are 2 matching vintage metal bangle bracelets!

We have these bracelets in a variety of colors:
Reds,orange, yellow,green,blue purple,pink, white and black to name just a few so we can't guarantee which colors you'll receive. However, if you have a specific color preference please send me a convo and we'll do the best we can.
The inner layers are all different as well as we carefully choose and cut out a pattern that will look interesting both on a tree and in a window. I've included a photo of 3 of them in a window to show how lovely they look with the sun coming through them!
Each ornament measures approximately 2 1/2"

Funky key chains made from a recycled circuit board that I first cut into a circle and mounted on a recycled brass metal disk that came from an old jewelry warehouse.

It is surrounded by recycled steel ball chain for added interest and texture!. They come with brown, black or green felt on the back, a length of ball chain and a split ring that will hold a number of keys.

The actual vintage brass disk measures approximately 2" in diameter and is from an old jewelry factory that went out of business in the 1980's.

These key chains are available in the 4 colors and basic patterns shown in the photographs. No two will ever be exactly alike as we custom cut each one based on what circuit boards we have available at the time.

They make great teacher gifts, great stocking stuffers and great gifts to give to someone who's just bought their first house or first car, and great for the computer geek who has everything!

1 1/8" hexagonal shapes and then colored a grape jelly purple using a technique that took me years to perfect.

This clock is another in our series of " How Does Your Garden Grow" and is intended to be used as a wall clock.
A large 12" x 8" vintage circuit board in a neutral creme color is the basis for this elegant yet at the same time funky clock.
NONE of the circuit boards we use in any of our products have ever been used or stuffed so they are all smooth to the touch.
I've taken another smaller circuit board that was also originally a neutral creme color and colored it a pale aqua turquoise using a technique that took me years to develop.
A recycled violet blue CD has been treated in such a way to create a marbled effect and is the actual clock face.
Vintage West German dark purple iridescent glass cabochons from the 1950's sit on top of vintage copper pieces and mark the hours as to vintage heavy brass cabochons from a jewelry factory that went out of business in the 1970's.
The bottom of the clock has a 'bouquet' of flowers that has been created using additional vintage German glass cabochons and vintage brass jewelry stampings.

This clock comes with a precision quartz clock movement as do all our clocks - batteries not included.

The 'garden' that grows from the top of this funky clock is made up of copper and colored wire that has had both vintage German lucite and vintage West German glass beads added for a lot of beautiful gem colors- purples, teals and greens.

A 1980's vintage bright green recycled circuit board is the basis for this funky chicken brooch. NONE of the circuit boards we use in any of our products have ever been used or 'stuffed' so they're all smooth as can be.
This brooch measures 2" by 1 1/4" and has many repurposed vintage brass pieces from a jewelry factory that went out of business layered on it to create the funky chicken. Copper wings , blue sequins and a little piece of magenta pink anodized aluminum have also been added as well as recycled springs.

A vintage 1980's green circuit board is the basis for this very unique and funky piece of jewelry.
I've layered upon it other components- recycled brass, recycled steel, recycled aluminum, recycled copper including a little copper star, and seed beads for this eyes. He has a little recycled black glass cabochon from an old piece of costume jewelry for his little black nose. This funky pin measures 2 1/4 " by 1 1/4".

The circuit board measures approximately 4" by 4 1/2 " and has never been stuffed so is smooth as can be.
I've taken a neutral colored circuit board and colored is a rich milk chocolate brown color using a technique that took me years to perfect.

Vintage faux turquoise glass cabochons from an old jewelry warehouse that went out of business in the 1960's mark the hours and sit on top of ornate brass jewelry stampings from the 1970's. Additional vintage shiny brass stars mark the other hours.
Elegant ornate black clock hands finish off this funky and sophisticated looking clock.

A recycled circuit board has been repurposed into a funky ruler - great always as a stocking stuffer which is what many people purchased them for last year!
This was one of our newer products introduced in the fall of 2008 and one we can barely keep "in stock".
We're taken a very funky multi colored recycled circuit board and repurposed it into a 6" ruler to give to your favorite geek! This circuit board is dark and lighter green with a cream colored/neutral base and lots of silver circuitry on both sides of course!
This ruler is sealed with very heavy duty clear tape to protect it!

Our funky recycled circuit board coasters are back by popular command! These coasters have been made using the epoxy resin fiberglass innerlayers which make up a circuit board.

You will receive one of each pattern in each color. One of these coasters has been colored a lovely teal green color using a technique that took me years to perfect.

Recycled circuit board back to school bookmarks!
You'll never see another bookmark like these I bet! I've used the inner layers that make up a circuit board and laminated them and added a tassel. Because an inner layer is so thin, these bookmarks are very flexible but also incredibly strong as they're made from fiberglass.
The patterns are just incredible as are the colors. You will see copper and sometimes actually gold in some of these bookmarks.

A vintage 1980's recycled circuit board has been turned into a funky humorous geek clock ! A lovely selection of vintage beads from the 1950's (such as vintage moonglow in a couple of colors) and colorful wire form the 'garden' growing out at the top of the circuit board.

Vintage ornate gold plated jewelry stamping from the 1960's mark the hours and have vintage jewel like glass cabochons mounted on them - decorative brass clock hands also compliment the ornate theme.
This clock, like all my clocks, features a precision quartz movement, and takes one AA battery (not included).

Vintage millefiori beads from the 1950's and vintage scrap brass form the eyes, colorful wire forms the hair, and the body is made from other found objects such as recycled electrical components and a 'chip' frame. Another bright lime green vintage circuit board has also been added to the body for more color and interest!

Recycled vintage circuit boards decorate a vintage very dark blue metal business card holder.
I have started with a recycled dark navy blue metal business card holder, that like the base for my new funky recycled circuit board bookends,came from an old factory in Brooklyn from the 1940's.

Vintage circuit boards from the 1980's that have actual real gold circuitry in them add a lot of detail and texture.
** Back in the 1980's, companies weren't trying to salvage the gold in any circuit boards that they were discarding unlike today ( and the price of gold has since skyrocketed!) so we were fortunate to acquire a few boarda with real gold in them ! A larger vintage green circuit board that measures 1 1/2" square sits dead center surrounded by shiny repurposed brass cut into funky shapes from a scrap metal facility! Finally 4 steel dots also from the scrap metal facility add a bit more detail.

This isn't just a business card holder but also a substantial eclectic paperweight!

This is a very cool clipboard that measures 11 1/4" x 7" and will hold a pad of paper that is 6" x 9". It is made from a beautiful "taupe" colored with amazing ornate silver circuitry recycled circuit board that we repurposed into a new functional green office product before it could have otherwise ended up in a landfill!
It has a very strong steel clip as you can see from the picture so it will hold a number of sheets of paper or a pad of paper.

RECYCLED Electronic Relay Geekery FAN LIGHT PULL Ornament Vintage Bead FP2

Look what you can do with an old vintage recycled electronic relay!
This is a fan pull or a light pull made from an old recycled electronic "relay" that was made to be part of a large array of relays, resistors, and fuses on a large recycled circuit board! This was apparently part of a sophisticated communication device.

If you look closely at the inside of this relay, you can see all the wonderful components such as a copper coil and parallel copper modules. This relay measures 1 1/8" x 1 1/4" x 7/8".
I've also added to the top of the relay, a funky recycled brass spring jewelry finding from an old warehouse that went out of business, a vintage lucite bead and a piece of recycled brass from a scrap metal facility to give it yet more interest!

We've connected 6" of ball chain to this and on the bottom we've added a recycled vintage brass jewelry stamping that has a wonderful funky texture.
This came from an old jewelry warehouse that went out of business in the 1970's!

Comes with a ball chain attacher and easily attaches to any ceiling fan or light fixture!

A round circuit board with lots of shiny coppery has been placed on a vintage chartreuse yellow green circuit board. In addition, a circular piece of an epoxy resin innerlayer ( like we use for our bookmarks, coasters, and holiday ornaments) has been added for additional texture and interest. I've taken additional circuit boards, cut them into 1" circles and colored them blue to match a blue repurposed music CD. This CD contrasts beautifully against the yellow of the coppery circuit board. Steel ball chain surround the CD for added detail.

Vintage solid copper jewelry stampings from the 1970's have vintage blue glass cabochons on them to mark the hours. Vintage gold plated 'chais' mark the main hours.

A vintage recycled circuit board has been repurposed into a funky pin!
I first took a much larger circuit board and cut it down to measure approximately 1" square.
I then colored it a soft shade of turquoise/blue using a technique that I developed!

A 1950's vintage glass cabochon that resembles turquoise, recycled copper, steel, and brass from an old scrap metal facility have also been added for additional texture.

A funky recycled circuit board has become a unique jewelry pendant!
This recycled circuit board was destined to end up in a landfill but I've turned it into a unique necklace that will be sure to get everyone's attention!

I first cut a very funky black and gold 'polka dotted' recycled circuit board into a hexagonal shape. It's mounted on a vintage steel jewelry finding from a jewelry warehouse that went out of business in the 1970's. A vintage 1960's glass cabochon that resembles the semiprecious stone 'hematite' has been mounted on a brass jewelry finding that is from the 1970's.

This funky pendant hangs on a very simple ball chain that is about 17" long. With the pendant, the total length of this unusual necklace is about 18".

This necklace will arrive in a little box all ready for gift giving!

A recycled circuit board fiberglass innerlayer has been repurposed into a funky sun catcher or ornament for your home!

This is a very unique sun catcher to hang in your window and let the world know you embrace a " green world"!

The inside area is cut from a piece of film that was used to design the actual circuitry of a circuit board. Nothing goes to waste when it comes to me recycling and saving things from the dump!

The outside rim is a water outlet gasket that would be used in a car. I've also added found objects of white aluminum for interest.

Very light weight and very awesome pattern for the sun to shine though. Comes with a 8" length of clear fishing line.
It measures approximately 3 1/2" by 2 3/4" .

This limited edition funky clock was made using a recycled circuit board! This would be a very unique and 'green' present to give to just about anyone who appreciates recycling and has an eclectic life style!

This recycled circuit board is quite beautiful with lots of amazing silver circuitry on a brownish/gold background. The top of the circuit board is especially interesting with notches cut out on either side and vertical 'stripes' of circuitry extending upward.

A music CD has been treated in such a way to create a great marbleized effect and has then been surrounded by recycled steel ball chain.

Black metal clock hands add additional interest.

Vintage grey/green glass cabochons from a jewelry factory that went out of business in the 1960's have been added to mark the hours. These are sitting on top of brass jewelry stampings also from the same jewelry factory.

These earrings have been made by cutting down much larger recycled circuit boards and then coloring them dark purple using a technique that took me years to perfect.

A very ornate vintage recycled circuit board has been used to create this very cool clipboard that measures 9" x 6 1/2". It is made from a recycled circuit board that we repurposed into a new functional green office product before it could have otherwise ended up in a landfill!

It has a very strong steel clip as you can see from the picture so it will hold a number of sheets of paper or a pad of paper.

Because this recycled circuit board has NEVER been 'stuffed' with chips, etc. it is very smooth to the touch and easy to write on without ' bumping' although we suggest you use a few pieces of paper or a pad for optimum use.

A fabulous BRIGHT red wooden vintage cigar box is the canvas for these vintage circuit boards from the 1980's which have have been cut into various unusual shapes. A recycled vintage circuit board from the 1980's is the basis for this funky green menorah!
Chanukah, the Festival of Lights, is a celebration of the victory of the Maccabees over the Syrians and the fight for religious freedom. It's also of course about the re-dedication of the Temple in Jerusalem after its desecration by the forces of Antiochus IV and commemorates the "miracle of the container of oil."

What better way to perhaps reclaim the pain of war for religious rights than by recycling war's by products -in this case using recycled brass bullet casings as the candle holders! And what a much better way to use them than for ammunition!

**This is our newest "geekery" product right in time for Hannukah and made using all recycled objects!***

The brass bullet casings have been mounted on repurposed vintage brass jewelry stampings from a jewelry factory that went out of business in the 1970's. A bright lime green vintage recycled circuit board forms the base of this funky menorah and 4 bright yellow recycled electronic relays with copper coils have also been added for stability as the 'feet' below. There is also one smaller relay under the extra light called a 'shamash', meaning guard or servant as it's given a distinct location, usually higher than the other candles. Vintage large gold plated triangles form a big Jewish star for additional interest.

This menorah measures 8 1/2" long and 4 1/4" wide by
1 1/2" tall. It weighs almost 1 1/4 lbs. so is nice and substantial and you certainly don't need to worry about it tipping over!

We have selected 2 identical and rare ring shaped epoxy resin fiberglass circuit boards that contain real bands of copper!

In between them we have sandwiched a carefully selected portion of an intricate piece of electronic lithography film used to create an actual circuit board!! Nothing goes to waste when it comes to us saving circuit boards from being destroyed!

A recycled circuit board has been added to a vintage metal box for a funky repurposed ring or pill box.

This was a very popular item last year in my shop when people were looking for little stocking stuffers that were both 'geeky' and elegant at the same time - a tall order to fill!
I've already had a number of people ask if I'm going to be making them again this year so I decided to get a 'jump start' on them.
Last season I actually had someone purchase one of these little boxes to pop a diamond ring in and then propose to his girlfriend !

I've taken a little repurposed brass box with a brass hinge , that was from an old factory in Brooklyn in the 1940's, and first lined the inside with green felt!
The metal box itself has a wonderful but subtle textured surface which hopefully you can see in the photographs.

The top has been decorated with a mosaic assemblage of dark green circuit boards that I've cut down from a larger one - steel ball chain surrounds the circuit board on two sides.
Three of these circuit boards have real gold in them as the boards I use are all vintage from the 1980's when companies weren't salvaging the gold from their boards before destroying them like they do these days.

This little box measures approximately 1 3/8" x 1 3/8" and is 1/4" high.

Ring pictured is not included and obviously, this box is not 'child proof' if you were to leave pills in it by your bed side. It does however snap tightly shut!

I would not recommend this box to be used in your purse to carry pills as it's intended to be more decorative.

You'll never see another handmade recycled circuit board bookmark like these I bet! I've used the inner layers that make up a circuit board and laminated them and added a tassel. Because an inner layer is so thin, these bookmarks are very flexible but also incredibly strong as they're made from fiberglass.
The patterns are just incredible as are the colors. You will see copper and sometimes actually gold in some of these bookmarks.

Circuit boards are made up of many many of these layers. In this case I have covered an old vintage recycled plastic light switch plate with this inner layer and then bordered it in copper tape which I've textured for additional interest.

The entire plate has then been covered with an acrylic layer to protect it.

These key chains are made from a recycled circuit board that I first cut into a circle and mounted on a recycled brass metal disk that came from an old jewelry warehouse.

It is surrounded by recycled steel ball chain for added interest and texture!. They come with brown, black or green felt on the back, a length of ball chain and a split ring that will hold a number of keys.

The actual brass disk measures approximately 2" in diameter.

A vintage recycled computer circuit board made into a funky clipboard!
This is a very cool clipboard that measures 10" x 8". It is made from a recycled circuit board that we repurposed into a new functional green office product before it could have otherwise ended up in a landfill! In one of the pictures there is a 3"x5" index card to better show the size of this unique clipboard.

It has a very strong steel clip as you can see from the picture so it will hold a number of sheets of paper or a pad of paper.
