This greeting card is hand printed using a linocut block printing method. I transferred the image of my original painting, "Clarity" onto a block of linoleum, carved it out by hand, and lovingly printed each card. I then hand-painted the eyes green.

The card is a standard 4.25" x 5.5" (10.75 x 14 cm), and comes with an envelope. Both are packaged in a plastic sleeve. The inside has been left blank so that you can print your own message.

**Please note--each card is printed by hand, so the print varies slightly from one to the next.**

"Vision," mixed media 2009. This unique little piece of artwork was inspired by my new ventures into the world of mixed media, my love of making moving characters, and a number of art supplies and reclaimed materials just waiting to be used!

The stage for this piece is the interior of a Moo card box. It is sturdy plastic which has been decorated with paint and collaged materials. It measures 3" x 2" x 1 1/8".

From the ceiling hang tiny letters forming the word "vision."

The character in the center was carefully hand-drawn in colored pencil on shrinky dink plastic. She has articulated arms. In addition, I have carefully cut a slot in the floor of the box so that she can be moved from side to side.

This teeny-tiny little painting is part of a new series that I am working on. I have several goals in this series, some practical and some artistic. On the practical side, I would like to be able to offer some one-of-a-kind, original paintings at very affordable prices. One way of doing this is by using leftover materials from my studio, sanding them down and using them to make tiny pieces of art! On the artistic side, I am interested in using some mixed media (these are made with acrylic paint, rubber stamped letters, and ink). I am continuing to explore my self and my vision of femininity by creating spontaneous, intuitive images. In this series specifically I have added inspirational words so that these mini works of art can brighten up your day and add some color to your life.

Each mini painting has a hole drilled on the back so that it can be hung on a nail, or it can be set on your desk, windowsill, or bookshelf.

This teeny-tiny little painting is part of a new series that I am working on. I have several goals in this series, some practical and some artistic. On the practical side, I would like to be able to offer some one-of-a-kind, original paintings at very affordable prices. One way of doing this is by using leftover materials from my studio, sanding them down and using them to make tiny pieces of art! On the artistic side, I am interested in using some mixed media (these are made with acrylic paint, rubber stamped letters, and ink). I am continuing to explore my self and my vision of femininity by creating spontaneous, intuitive images. In this series specifically I have added inspirational words so that these mini works of art can brighten up your day and add some color to your life.

Each mini painting has a hole drilled on the back so that it can be hung on a nail, or it can be set on your desk, windowsill, or bookshelf.

I took my original painting, "Messenger" and printed it out on shrinky dink plastic. The edge is finished with copper and it is all sealed with enamel. The ring is silver plated and fully adjustable.

The decorative part measures about 7/8" x 1 3/8".
