Trisomy = 3 chromosomes.

This pink t-shirt has a gathered front and little puff sleeves. Very Sweet! I printed the image in black ink, and stretched the gathers so I could print the letters smoothly. It's a nice stylish t-shirt, retail, and thus higher quality than most screenprints.

I enlarged an inverse X-ray of a hand, both left and right and printed them on both sides of SAFETY THIRD. Dashed lines highlight the loss of the last two bones of the thumb, plus the pinky finger, too. Three good fingers left, tho, allows one to count up to safety third! The shirt is cardinal red, the hands yellowed bone, and SAFETY THRID in white.

These two hands are too wide for smaller shirts, so it's XXL only. It's a better quality Tshirt, not luxury, but heavy duty cotton.

I enlarged an inverse X-ray of a hand, and printed it over the heart area on the left side of this shirt. SAFETY THIRD in stencil font highlights the loss of the last two bones of the thumb, and notice that the pinky finger has lost two, also, as indicated by dashed lines. Three good fingers left, tho, allows one to count up to safety third!

It's a better quality Tshirt, not luxury, but heavy duty cotton. Immediately available is the black with the image screened in white.

After I made my screen, I discovered that all the poster shops love this particular print, calling it, incorrectly, "Egg Mushroom", and the artist Curtis, who was actually the nineteenth century publisher, not the artist. Oh well, what do retailers know, anyway? Its common name is the Shaggy Mane Inky Cap mushroom (or Lawyers wig). So I'm here to set the record straight!

This fitted Tee shirt is loose but curvy, with a large round neck and cap sleeves. The screenprint is in black, in the lower left, and I printed the original Linnean specifics along the hem in front.

Of course mushrooms belong with Safety Third -- especially among us mushroom hunters who love to eat their edible gatherings!

The process I use to crack the skull results in a unique scar each time, so no two cracked skulls can ever be the same. Cop a CATTITUDE with this top!

This BIG Kitty Crossbones is printed in HOT PINK on a chocolate brown maternity top. Cop a CATTITUDE with this top!

This cute tunic shirt is a long and full, with three pleats in front and back to accommodate that growing baby. The yoke is eyelet fabric, with the neck bound in the same light jersey knit of the bodice. The sleeves are puff, and close with two brown buttons with fabric loops. The neck is a wide square scoop. The screenprint, in hot pink ink, is not completely opaque, so the brown knit shows through in places, as it didn't print in the pleats, so it has a wonderfully devilish appearance. Almost like Pirate scars, you know?

Speaking of Bony Fingers and Safety Third - whatcha think of climbers?

I enlarged an inverse X-ray of a hand, and printed it over the heart area on the left side of this shirt. SAFETY THIRD in stencil font highlights the loss of the last two bones of the thumb, and notice that the pinky finger has lost two, also, as indicated by dashed lines. Three good fingers left, tho, allows one to count up to safety third!

ANd, just lately, I met a walking example! The hand might be dirty, but that's what motorcycle mechanics look like! That one still has all his pinky finger, unlike this shirt.

It's a good quality Tshirt, not luxury, but heavy duty cotton. This shirt is in TANGERINE YELLOW. If you would like it in ORANGE JUICE ORANGE or SAFETY ORANGE, as in the Biohazard shirts, just let me know.

My version of a skull-and-crossbones is a simple one, suitable for kids. With this skully on the front, this vintage-style soft-wash t-shirt has a Pirate look with its tu-tone heathery gray and black double stripes and contrast ringer neck. I made this skull-and-crossbones look old and moldy, like it had been sitting in the corner of the graveyard for a while, with moss growing on it. And added the Biohazard over the cranium cuz the kids love the symbol.

So here is my second -- on a camo shirt I hope someone likes it. I printed this Kitty Crossbones in a very deep brown on a shirt that seemed to glow in the evening sun, making it look sorta like Fall colors. However, the colors against the greenery are more true -- khaki, tan,red-brown, olive green.

This is a cute little light brown onesie, with yellow, slate & white stripes, and navy legs and neck. It has a snap shoulder with two brown & one navy snap , as well as a snap bottom.

I printed the stick man running with a humongous pair of with scissors in white -- hopefully our little guys will be running some day! SAFETY THIRD in stencil font brackets the dangerous behavior -- you'd hope that little guy would have safety on the list, but I think it's up to you!

I made this larger size onesie for all the moms of kids with special needs -- their kids should be just as cool as all the others, even if they haven't quite mastered that potty chair yet!!

On one of the Down Syndrome lists, the request for larger onesies came up -- I never even knew they made them that large. Then I found a store with several! However, I went back there this 2009, and there were none -- they converted all the 3T-5T sizes to shirts only.

Clark County Fire Flammable -- Uniform Shirt emblazoned with SAFETY symbols Mens L

This shirt is a celebration of all the dangers faced by firemen and those who disdain timidity, declaring to the world: "SAFETY THIRD!" On the left sleeve is an authentic Clark County Fire department (Las Vegas) patch that came on this repurposed navy blue uniform shirt.

So here's the stuff I added: a mottled biohazard symbol in orange on the back. A skull-and-crossbones below SAFETY THIRD on the left chest pocket. FLAMMABLE below the Cathedral Fire patch. A white grenade on the right sleeve. The industrial safety symbol EXPLOSIVE for blasting, on the lower left front. The explosion is double-printed in yellow and white with a little orange fire added in. And BIOHAZARD with the triple threat symbols (radioactive, biohazard, gas mask) on the right side.

This shirt has been hardly worn , almost like new, but not quite, which is perfect!
It buttons down the front with 7 buttons under a protective flap -- I guess that part was the Safety First!.

This shirt is a celebration of all the dangers faced by firemen and paramedics, and for those who disdain timidity, declaring to the world: "SAFETY THIRD!" On either sleeve are authentic patches that came on this repurposed blue uniform shirt -- a Paramedic Firefighter on the right, and Catherdral Fire on the left.

So here's the stuff I added: a mottled biohazard symbol on the back. A skull-and-crossbones below the Paramedic patch, FLAMMABLE below the Cathedral Fire patch. BIOHAZARD above the right pocket. There's a mottled biohazard symbol on the back, a skull-and-crossbones with a cracked skull on the right sleeve, a radioactive symbol on the left hip, the industrial safety symbol for blasting on the right shoulder. For the literate, the words SAFETY THIRD on the right chest pocket, EXPLOSIVE diagonally above the left pocket, RADIOACTIVE and BIOHAZARD on either side hip. This shirt has been worn to work in, and some of the screenprints are rough -- lots of CHARACTER!

It snaps at the neck, and buttons down the front with 6 orange buttons.

So this T-shirt celebrates that molecule, with characteristic SafetyThird irony. I printed the molecule in the upper left shoulder area in dark red. The words SAFETY and THIRD cross with TNT and show evidence of destructive explosions (in black). I created this design to foster a conversation about our children. These three chromosomes, one slightly different, are the defining event for our kids. And as we, as parents, family, and friends, make the journey, we learn of the blessing therein. The general public won't know what they are, and this onesie will open up a dialogue. Trisomy = 3 chromosomes.

This is a soft brown onesie. It has a snap shoulder with three brown snaps, as well as a snap bottom. I printed the screen in golden sunny yellow-orange.

I made this larger size onesie for all the moms of kids with special needs -- their kids should be just as cool as all the others, even if they haven't quite mastered that potty chair yet!!

On one of the Down Syndrome lists, the request for larger onesies came up -- I never even knew they made them that large. Then I found a store with several!

This is the cutest little top! It's faux tie-dye on the front, with plain yoke, cap sleeves and back, with a line of rhinestone bling along the exposed seam on the top. Lime green and white. I printed my Kitty Crossbones in black on the tie-dye portion. You can see the pattern through the eye sockets!

It's a very nice quality shirt and nice soft cotton, and totally One of a Kind since I only got one lime to print.

BIOHAZARD on Kiddo? Well, they are, aren't they?! I printed a Biohazard symbol in fluorescent orange on the chest of this cute camo sweatshirt, and SAFETY THIRD in white stencil font across the top. I printed them both just one time, so the fabric shows through in a gritty way.

This cute little shirt has olive drab contrast ribbing at the neck and sleeves, with a soft white fleece lining. It's perfect for that kid who's always running into the parking lot without looking, or with cuts and scratches all over from his outdoor adventures. Or a girl who's like the tomboy *I* was when growing up. I have lots of scars to prove it!

This new vintage-style soft-wash t-shirt is mainly a dark brown camo, with heather-knit gray and black patterning. I printed the mutant spotted BIOHAZARD symbol in Bright Orange. Another custom buyer wanted SAFETY THIRD on the back of theirs, and it seemed like a good idea, so I added that on this one, too. The SAFETY THIRD is in gritty, decayed stencil font, as befitting this mutant biohazard.

Boys really like this symbol, even when they don't know what it means -- it appeals to them in a weird way.
