I can customize the piece to use a former piece of clothing (dress or pants) from your family member and stitch the quote/sentiment of your choice on it. Then stretch to frame.

I pick high quality, gently used sweaters for my projects and for my yarns. I love finding the unique mixes of colors, fibers and weights.

It may have the occasional knot or slight imperfection, but I'm meticulous about reclaiming - avoiding bleach spots, torn threads, etc.!

Reclaimed (unraveled) yarn has a slight waviness to it but once you wash and block your finished piece - you'll never see the difference.

**If you're looking for a particular weight of yarn, remember you can use multiple strands together... and if you want lighter weight yarn, a specific fiber or color... CONVO me, I love a good thrift store hunt!

It may have the occasional knot or slight imperfection, but I'm meticulous about reclaiming - avoiding bleach spots, torn threads, etc.!

Reclaimed (unraveled) yarn has a slight waviness to it but once you wash and block your finished piece - you'll never see the difference.

**If you're looking for a particular weight of yarn, remember you can use multiple strands together... and if you want lighter weight yarn, a specific fiber or color... CONVO me, I love a good thrift store hunt!

Color - White and Black base strands with variegated homespun style yarn (red, blue, orange, green, brown)

Fiber -100% Acrylic

Yarn Weight - Bulky (9 wraps per inch - the number of times the yarn wraps around one inch of a ruler)

Texture - 4 ply with homespun and ribbon style in texture... fuzzy too

Care instructions: Hand wash cold

Length per skein: 100 yards (multiple skeins available, sold individually)

Wrapped in center pull balls for instant crafting.

Reclaimed (unraveled) yarn has a slight waviness to it but once you wash and block your finished piece - you'll never see the difference.

**If you're looking for a particular weight of yarn, remember you can use multiple strands together... and if you want lighter weight yarn, a specific fiber or color... CONVO me, I love a good thrift store hunt!

Happy Earth Day... everyday with this 100% Upcycled/Recrafted baby blanket made from 6 blue sweaters and 2 blue jeans. **Don't worry, even the scraps from this project will be used in another piece!**

Great for wrapping up your little one or throwing down on the grass and having a baby picnic! The sweater pieces are the sleeves and waist edges hand finished, machine stitched together with hand embroidered edging.

The back is made from sturdy but soft, worn denim... and the pocket's still there! Easy storage for a tiny stuffed animal or binky.
