I found these delightful triangular-shaped copper and sterling silver beads, and decided to pair them with a combination of big, thick, 16 gauge copper and sterling silver jumprings to create this mixed metal Byzantine bracelet.

I really love to mix metals, and the chain, beads, and toggle in this bracelet all combine sterling silver and copper. Each bead measures approx. 12 x 8mm. 3 beads are used in the bracelet,with a fourth added as an accent dangle near the toggle.

The bracelet will comfortably fit up to a 7.25 inch wrist.

It all started with the purple heart - a lovely purple handmade lampwork heart by Etsy's bluhealer. I just love the different shades of purple in this bead, and its intricate swirls and dots!

So I started looking for beads to match, and this design is the result: a double-stranded necklace with purple coin pearls, delicate white button pearls, and purple Czech crystals. Sterling silver bail and findings, and sterling silver beads accenting the bail.

A sterling silver S-hook and chain provide an adjustable length from 18 to 20 inches (longer strand). The shorter strand measures 17 to 19 inches long.

This fabulous necklace is composed of luscious blue chalcedony rondelles and topaz-colored Czech crystals, which perfectly echo the colors in the composite shell pendant. Sterling silver daisy spacers and iridescent blue seed beads complete the design.

This sterling silver wire-wrapped bracelet represents my second collaborations with Etsy's SandFibers. She handmade the beads, bead-weaving tiny teal-colored glass seed beads into these shimmering peyote beads. The glass seed bead color name is emerald AB, but they appear more blue-green to me, and definitely have the familiar AB shimmer.

I then added sterling silver wire and sterling silver rombo spacers, and this lovely bracelet is the result.

This lightweight, flexible bracelet is 3/8 inch wide, and will comfortably fit up to 6.75 inches.

Well, the ring isn't vintage, but the cute little pink glass cabochon is! The pink glass cab measures approxomately 12 mm in its longest dimension.

I chose matching 14 kt gold-filled wire to wrap the stone, and the result is this lovely wire-wrapped ring, a variation of the Pharoah ring. Size 7.5.

This striking hand-woven necklace was inspired by the discovery of these 3 beautiful matched pieces of polished abalone. I paired them with 2 large, ornate sterling silver beads as spacers, and then carefully selected matching beads to weave into the necklace. Beige freshwater pearls, peacock square glass beads, beige Czech crystals, smoky grey Czech crystals, and several different colors of seed beads found their way into this intricate spiral bead-woven creation. The ends are finished with beautifully detailed sterling silver cones, and a sterling silver S-hook and sterling silver chain provide an adjustable length from 17.5 to 20 inches.

Copper, Gemstone, and Freshwater Pearl Multistrand Necklace

I love the way this piece turned out!

It all started with the copper flower I handcrafted from copper sheet, and decided to adorn with a freshwater pearl as its center. It took about 2 days to complete this flower, and I loved its simplicity and organic nature.

I had planned to hang the copper flower from a simple copper chain and call it a day, but the more I looked at it, the more I decided it deserved better!

I envisioned an earthy, asymmetrical necklace that would showcase the flower, and began by carefully selecting a few gorgeous pieces of leopardskin jasper, with incredible color – the greens range from a subtle moss to a vivid emerald, and there are a rich variety of mauves, burgundy, and grays.

I paired the leopardskin jasper with a few pieces of sparkling muscovite, some aqua terra jasper, and 3 different colors and shapes of freshwater pearls. I added lots of copper spacers, and finished the strands with copper Bali-style cones. I connected one side to my copper flower, and the other to a soldered link of copper chain that I hammered and then oxidized. I then attached the strands to some simple copper chain which I had first oxidized, and left a generous extender, to allow the owner multiple options with the length. Measuring from the lowest of the 4 strands, the necklace can be as short as 18 inches (for a slender neck) to as long as 24 inches.

I don't raku, so I bought this lovely raku focal pendant from Etsy's talented MAKUstudio - I love its colors: copper, bronze, fuschia, seafoam green, and so may shades of blue! This gorgeous pendant measures 2.125 inches long by 1.25 inches wide.

To compliment the pendant, I wove a spiral rope with peacock freshwater pearls and a number of different colors and sizes of glass seed beads, including slate blue, seafoam green, fuschia, and bronze. I also stitched a matching peyote bail, embellished with seafoam green freshwater pearls. Matching fringe dangles adorn the bail.

The necklace is finished with ornate sterling silver cones, sterling silver chain, and a sterling silver S-hook, for an adjustable length from 20.75 to 23.5 inches. The extender chain is finished with 3 peacock freshwater pearls.

This stunning necklace is one of my absolute favorites! It features a handmade electroformed lampworked sea turtle pendant by Etsy's blackriverbeads, with gorgeous emerald green, royal blue, and golden colors blooming under his clear copper-lined shell. His fins and head range in color from the palest blue to deepest indigo.

The necklace includes large, irregular freshwater pearls; copper beads; kyanite and lapis lazuli in several different sizes and cuts; faceted blue-green glass; other assorted gemstones; and Czech and Swarovski crystals.

The piece is finished with a front-closure handmade lampworked toggle by Etsy's gimmebeads and a teal blue Biwa pearl bar. The toggle features swirling blues and greens in the same color scheme as seen on the turtle's fins. Finished necklace length is 21 inches.

This is my newest addition to my couture line - all guaranteed to be one-of-a-kind creations!

This piece was designed around this stunning art pendant - a mixture of sterling silver, amethyst, and deep purple dichroic glass. Unfortunately, dichroic glass is extremely difficult to capture photographically, but please be assured that the triangular-shaped glass in this pendant is a deep, deep purple color (most accurately shown in the 4th photo, even though this shot still doesn't do it justice).

The pendant itself measures 2 inches long by 1.75 inches wide by 0.25 inches thick. It features an amethyst cabochon, a stunning faceted amethyst, and gorgeous deep purple dichroic glass, all in a solid, soldered sterling silver setting with sterling bail.

I have paired the pendant with the finest quality freshwater coin pearls, which have an unbelievable luster, and tanzanite Swarovski crystals.

Closure is acheived with a sterling silver S-hook and extender chain, which will allow you to wear the pendant a lengths varying from 17 inches to 19.75 inches.

Green and Black Dichroic Pendant

This pendant features shimmering green on black dichroic glass, with occasional flashes of blue. It was fired at a very high temperature, creating a "window" effect, imparting depth to the pendant.

Sterling silver bail; pendant measures 1.375 inches long by 1.25 inches wide.

Dichroic glass is extremely hard to photograph due to the ever-changing nature of its reflections and refractions, so I have done my best to capture the beauty of this piece, but nothing can approach seeing it for yourself! The green in this piece is a gorgeous emerald green - although it looks a little blue to me in these photos, and remember, different monitors may also alter the appearance of the colors!

All my fused glass pieces have been properly annealed, and should resist breakage with proper care. However, please remember that they are glass, and as such are always subject to breakage if improperly handled. Glass is not a toy, and is not recommended for children.

Look at this stunning pendant! The focal lampwork bead, handmade by Etsy's susanjonesdesigns, reminds me of waves lapping on the sand on a sunny day, with its beautiful, undulating shades of blues, browns, and white. Sparkling CZs flow down one side of the bead, for added shimmer! An erinite Swarovski crystal and bronze freshwater pearl dangle below the bead for accent.

The necklace is woven with a compliment of bronze freshwater pearls, grey fire-polished glass beads, brown and grey glass pinch beads, and white, turquoise, and sapphire seed beads.

I tried something different for the bail this time, hand-weaving it in a peyote stitch with the sapphire seed beads, then adding a picot accent with the pinch beads. Cute, huh?
