Original design in Silhouettes of green and rust
stained glass. Each figure was cut from one
continuous piece of glass.
The background was laid in the Mosaic style of
crazy paving for a confetti appearance.

Framed in modern black, the size is 12x15 inches.
The piece was created on a hardibacker substrate
making the piece lighter weight than wood but still
completely rigid for durability.

This was supposed to be a Mosaic.
I liked it during the sketching process so much
that I painted it instead. I created this piece during
a period in my life when I had to summon courage.
The imagery of walking into the unknown was fitting
for that time of my life.

Framed in a black modern frame it's finished
size is 19x23 inches.

Unframed 16x20 inches.

This unique Mosaic art piece was
created in the dead of winter as I
longed for warmer weather.

Constructed on three quarter inch primed wood.
The butterfly is 3d with an overall depth
of three inches. The piece measures 24 inches square.

The butterfly was constructed using recycled styrofoam sheeting, plaster wrap and thinset cement for a solid foundation for the glass used.

This piece contains rivers of Italian Millefiori,
Vitreous glass, glass gems and stained glass.
A wonderful accent to any sunny room as the light
shimmers on the raised portions of the piece nicely.
