I was originally going to name this quilt "Scrappy X's" since the blocks make up and "X" pattern and the fabric is from Moda's "Miss Jumps Scrap Bag" line. However, I polled my blog readers, folks from my Etsy street team and readers of the Etsy forums to choose between two layouts for these quilt blocks. This pattern was the favorite hands down!

I love the earthy tones to this fabric! The quilt is made up of 100% quilt shop quality cottons, front and back. It has Warm and Natural cotton batting sandwiched in-between to keep you cozy when the weather is cold. It is machine pieced and long arm machine quilted. The binding is hand sewn.

The quilt measures 73in x 73in (cm x cm) and would look terrific on a bed.

A summer garden full of blooming flowers and plants. It’s one of the best times of year. 5” fabric squares of blues, reds, greens, browns and golden yellows make up this fantastic patchwork quilt. Both the fabric collections titled, Summer’s Basket of Flowers and Ruby’s Flower Garden, from Moda are represented here – in all 342 blocks!

Quilt size: 92in x 99in (234cm x 252cm) shown in picuture three on a California King sized bed
Materials: 100% cotton fabric and thread. Organic cotton batting sandwiched in-between.
Quilting: Long arm quilted in a leaf and floral pattern
Binding: Machine sewn onto the front, and then folded over and completely hand stitched to the back.

This quilt has been washed once in a natural detergent and tumbled dry on low heat to give it that great puckered look.

This quilt is a two season quilt. With the oak leaves and acorns on the fabric, it is perfect for fall. The reds and greens in it allow you to keep it out straight through Christmas!

This quilt is made from the Oak Leaves and Reel fabric Collection from Moda. It measures 81in x 81in (206cm x 206cm), perfect for your bed, and is machine pieced and longarm quilted with a thread that compliments the entire quilt. Warm and Natural 100% cotton batting is sandwiched in-between. The binding is hand sewn.

I remember, fondly, my high school History teacher. It’s amazing what one teacher can do in the life of a young adult.
The fabrics in this quilt are great. From books, to pencils, apples, to alphabet letters. What a neat way to represent some of the images from a day at school. Great for the teacher as a special year end gift or to anyone who loves education!

Here’s a little surprise- the center is a panel from the Thimbleberries School Days fabric collection. The borders were pieced on with my home sewing machine.
