This design was created by fellow Etasian www.jellybeanlab.etsy.com and I have hand colored the skull yellow-green and shaded the background partially with a darker value of blue and set it under resin in a new bottle cap.

Many of these pendants are created using recycled bottle caps (some caps are new), my own drawings, images from magazines and miscellaneous ephemera.
No two are exactly alike.

This pendant was created in a new bottle cap and I have added 6 recycled beads and a small textured silver bead.

The black leather cord is approx. 17" long and has a toggle clasp.

This is another pendant that includes glass from CombustionGlassworks.Etsy.com shop.

She sent me these small glass pieces with a slumped rum bottle that I purchased from her.

This multi-colored Cabochon reflects the colors of the image it rests on top of.

The pebble extends above the layer of resin and adds a 3-Dimensional quality to the piece.

These pendants are created in new/used bottle caps.
No two pendants are exactly the same.

This pendant was created in a recycled Pepsi bottle cap.

They are created using epoxy resin and are water resistant but not waterproof. They should not be worn in the bathtub or jacuzzi.

I created a holly leaf and then added some berries, a few of which are Peace symbols.

This is an ACEO card that measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
It was created on 100lb acid free Strathmore Bristol board.

It is a one of a kind original collage using Prismacolor (artist quality) colored pencils and Sharpie marker. I love shading and layering different colors.

(I wish I could get a photograph that truly shows the glow and color transitions).

Complimentary Ornament of PEACE ACEO Original

I'm on an ACEO roll and while working one day in a Co-op I sketched a similar idea to this. Instead of leaving the ornament round I stretched and elongated it and then created the PEACE symbol inside.

I love using complimentary colors and did not want to compete with the design on the ornament so I used the same color just lighter and more solid in the background.

The background color appears to be a shade of yellow, but it is lime green! The ornament is comprised of reds and red-violet except for the area inside the symbol which is a Tuscan Red partially covered with Indigo Blue.

Prismacolor colored pencils are my favorites and I have to layer and blend them, I just can't resist! There is more detail to see that the photo doesn't capture. Shading and light.

Yin and Yang Recycled Bottle Cap Necklace

I was brainstorming and liked the idea of creating Yin & Yang symbols using complimentary colors instead of the classic Black and White.

This Simbol(Yin-Yang) represents the ancient Chinese understanding of how things work. The outer circle represents "everything", while the black and white shapes within the circle represent the interaction of two energies, called "yin" (black) and "yang" (white), which cause everything to happen. I added a highlight in this position instead of a designated circle.They are not completely black or white, just as things in life are not completely black or white, and they cannot exist without each other.

While "yin" would be dark, passive, downward, cold, contracting, and weak, "yang" would be bright, active, upward, hot, expanding, and strong. The shape of the yin and yang sections of the symbol, actually gives you a sense of the continual movement of these two energies, yin to yang and yang to yin, causing everything to happen: just as things expand and contract, and temperature changes from hot to cold.

This design was created using Prismacolor colored pencils and placed in a recycled bottle cap. It comes on a 16" black leather cord with some recycled blue beads and some new silver accent beads and has a magnetic clasp.

I made a custom order for a "Drink Me" Sobe bottle in the past and decided it was a good idea, so I changed up the fonts and will see if you want them as well.

These bottles are great because they have a wide mouth opening (1 1/4")and are very easy to drink from.

Use them daily to drink your water or juices or even use as a glass during parties and never have someone accidentally take your drink (unless they can't resist how cool your glass is)!

Alices Cheshire Cat in a tree Recycled Bottle Cap Pin

I am flexing the ways to present my bottle cap creations.
These pins are a way to show a sense of style while being fastened to your top, jacket, book bag, purse....

This great piece has one of the classic Alice in Wonderland woodcarved images from 1890 by John Tenniel in a recycled bottle cap hanging from a small amount of black leather cord accented with a lampwork and silver beads. I purchased this image form fellow Etsy shop owner www.piddix.etsy.com

In the center hangs a small grinning cat charm that closely resembles a version of the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland.

*There is a slight glare in the first picture from the flash. The image does not contain any of those little white reflective specks in the piece.*

Have fun keeping this for yourself or giving it as a gift.

The pin is 2 1/4" long and the bottle cap hangs 2 1/2" from top to bottom.

He is shielding his eye sockets from the bright light. This listing was originally just for the pendant, but I found a great complimentary bead and turned it into a finished necklace.

Another venture into using some ephemera in my pendants. I had purchased the seahorse with a pirate ship I wanted for myself.

The background is from a magazine and then suspended the charm in the resin.

The seahorse sticks out above the level of the resin which gives it an added 3-dimensional quality.

I found a wonderfully colored background in a magazine and then suspended the charm pieces in the resin.

She sent me these small glass pieces with a slumped rum bottle that I purchased from her.

This green colored Cabochon looks as though it was dropped into the bottle cap causing a ripple in the blues below.

The pebble extends above the layer of resin and adds a 3-Dimensional quality to the piece.

Very vibrantly colored peace symbol with "give PEACE a chance" written in black pen is my latest ACEO offering.

The complimentary colors REALLY do vibrate off one another and relay a very important message.
