Painting of a girl using a snake as a scarf. My idea behind it was about how humans take advantage of animals who can't protect themselves. It is unkind to think of warming yourself with an animal who can't even control it's own body temperature. Original is oil on canvas 20"x24"

This the companion to the Snake Scarf painting, this is "Giraffe Jacket", which speaks about how people use animals to their advantage. Not necessarily speaking about using animal fur as clothing but as a different type of fashion statement. People cloak themselves in an appearance of "caring" for the environment when many times they are just trying to be in the scene that is cool at the moment. People just go with what people tell them, without getting informed. It's good at the time but once a different fad comes along people won't care any more, they'll take their cloak off and wear something else.
