I have used a tan print fabric for the ties. The main part of the apron is made with a soft denim fabric. The ties each measure about 23 inches in length.

Oops! that wrinkle on the left is not a flaw - it's just that the apron is folding right there.

I have used a green dot fabric for the ties and front. The ties each measure about 34 inches in length so there is plenty of fabric to wrap it around and tie it in the front. A great apron for cooking, crafting, volunteer work or any time you want to protect your clothes and have a pocket to store things. You can wear this comfortably just below the waist. It will look great with your jeans that are cut just below the waist, as well.
