This jaw dropping necklace has a great industrial look and a super recycled vibe! A vintage TV tube is wired securely onto a Capn'Sams oysters jar lid. The dog collar chain is 18 inches in circumference, and closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp. White plastic rings for sewing and faceted red plastic beads dangle playfully along the sides. The jarlid is 2 3/4 inches in diameter. Total length of jar lid and chain is 12 1/2 inches long clasped.
The underside of the lid is lined in leopard faux fur.

Total length of jar lid and chain is 11 inches long clasped. Vintage glass aqua and white beads and 2 red faceted plastic beads dangle playfully along the sides.

I made the ribbon out of vintage trim and a pom-pom. The pin back is securely sewn on the ribbon. The pin is 3 inches long from the top of the ribbon to the botom of the cap. It is adjustable up to 15 inches. Raw edges and escaping threads add visual interest.

I created this sparkeling adornment with blue patterned feed sack fabric sewn onto a rescued cotton matress pad. Vintage "bling" is first epoxied, then sewn onto this base with almost invisible nylon thread. A cute ceramic puppy sits in the middle of the "shield" The ties at the neck are actually re-purposed apron strings. Raw edges and escaping threads add visual interest. Measurements are as follows...

To our litttle Friend - Philip Herwig and Sons Funeral Home, Baltimore MD. This little heirloom is quite fragile so don't wear this playing football or anything. This one of a kind necklace is created from a recycled peanut butter jar lid, a Brier Rabbit molasses bottle cap, and vintage electronic capacitors. The circumference of jar lid with capacitors is 4 and 3/4 inches. The ceramic capacitors are wired into the lid and then secured with epoxy. The dog collar chain is 18 inches long and closes with a silver toned lobster claw clasp. I filled the back of the jar lid in with a bright yellow granny square.

This one of a kind necklace is created from a really big (6 inches in diameter) Pickled Products jar lid. The beautiful crochet balls are from another etsy seller,(so sorry i forget who!)and are wired into the lid and then secured with epoxy. The 18 inch dog collar chain is decorated with rainbow colored seashell beads and closes with a silver toned lobster claw clasp. I filled the back in with pink pom-poms and yellow yarn flowers. This piece is big and bangin' with sort of a Flava Flave vibe!

This one of a kind necklace is created from never used Carmex and Savex lip balm jar lids. The chain is a dog collar and the clasp is industrial hardware. Each jar lid is filled with yellow and black pom-poms. Everything is secured within the jar lid with epoxy. The chain is 23 inches long. Very comfortable and eye-catching to wear and not at all heavy. This necklace reminds me of my girlfriend Kerri, because she always has Carmex in her purse!

I was defenitely channeling my inner surrealist when I created this amazing hat! Green and red felted recycled wool make up the body of the hat. Two 25 inch long "dread locks" flow down from the nape of the hat in the back. Each dread is embellished with small pom poms. They are all securely sewn on. The red front insert is also embellished with pom-poms. This hat has the shape of a Pope's hat, but is also squid like; thus the name Squid Pope.

Size is as follows...

I started with an early 1900's underskirt complete with all of the discolorations of time and circumstance. I embellished this skirt with heirloom lace from a baby's baptism dress, again from the early 1900's. I then hand stitched faded pink millinary flowers and more lace embellishments accross the front. The effect reminds me of cherry blossoms. Hook and eyes close the waist.

I created this curvy collar with heirloom feedsack fabric left to me by my Nana. It is zigzag sewn onto a rescued cotton matress pad. Vintage "bling" is first epoxied, then sewn onto this base with almost invisible nylon thread. It closes in the front with a prim white frog. The edges of the collar curl playfully in the front. Raw edges and escaping threads add visual interest. This would be a good adornment to wear when the Et's first come to visit you.

It will fit many sizes of neck and shoulders.

I created this pair of gauntlets out of aqua feedsack fabric left to me by my Nana. They are zigzag sewn onto a rescued cotton matress pad. Vintage "bling" is first epoxied, then sewn onto this base with almost invisible nylon thread. They close in the back with vintage buttons and elastic loops. Raw edges and escaping threads add visual interest. I sort of feel like a super hero when I wear these.

Measurements are as follows lying flat...
8 inches wide at the wrist
11 1/2 inches wide at the top
8 3/4 inches from wrist to forearm
The button closures add a wiggle room of about 2 more inches

This amazing choker is created with a vintage tape measure from Lancaster, PA. The tape measure has great advertisements on it such as cattle feed and Eshelman and Son's.(a Lancaster business still in existance today!)Needle threaders from Japan and the USA dangle from the sides along with repurposed jet black glass beads and gold- tone hoops. A heavier metal needle threader hangs in the middle with a ruler that expands to 6 inches. This choker is adjustable from 13 1/2 inches up to 17 inches.
Because of the age of the items used, this choker is very fragile, so don't wear it to play football or anything!
