The drop on this pair of earrings is 1 ¾” and each eucalyptus leaf has a diameter of 1”. These eucalyptus leaves are the silver dollar variety, called such because they are almost a perfectly round leaf. The eucalyptus tree also known as the gum tree is originally from Australia where koala bears spend their entire lives feeding almost exclusively from these leaves.

The bottom and top pieces are copper and the middle piece is actually brass. As the copper darkens with age it will be interesting to see how the brass piece ages. This is a charming barrette, created from a sheet of copper, acid etched with a contemporary theme, attached to a 1 1/2" Made in France barrette clip with miniature brass screws, and finally oxidized to accent the details. It is a very small barrette measuring just 2 inches in length and 5/8 of an inch wide.

This pin has been handwrought to create an Apache Trout. The copper was hand sawn, sanded, handhammered, punched to create the scales and fins, and oxidized to accent. This little guy is made of copper that has been handsawn with a jeweler saw, handhammered and stamped, and is just too cute. The copper really shines causing light to scatter in numerous directions, giving the impression of jewels when the light twinkles off the surface. He measures almost 1 1/2 inches from the tail to his nose and 1 1/2 inches from his ears to his hooves. He is really adorable! This necklace has a blue enameled pendant that has been counter enameled (enameled on the back), enameled with copper wire embedded in the glass, and hung from a wire wrapped copper bail. It measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter and is hung from a natural 17 inch copper chain completed with a copper lobster clasp. The chain can be lengthened or shortened upon request.

This copper pendant has been hand pierced with a prickly pear using a jeweler's hand saw. Late summer through December is prickly pear harvest season. The fruit of the prickly pear(which turns red) is actually a berry and can be added to ice cream, candy, and drinks for flavoring. The leaves of the prickly pear, known as nopales can also be eaten once the prickly spines are carefully and thoroughly removed. The pendant measures 1 1/4" by 3/4" and hangs from a 16" vintage copper chain.
