There is a very fine crack on the inside edge that you can see in the detail shot. This crack will NOT go any further. Promise. This teapot would normally be $175. The crack is barely detectable, and it is not visible when the lid is on.

This is an elegant and funky teapot that was also influened by my trip to the birthplace of Art Nouveau, in Nancy, France, a couple hours east of Paris. I was there for an art exchange and exhibit in 2006, and it had quite an influence on me, as did Paris.

This is a bit different from the other teapots, I think it has a lot more attitude, almost a dancing quality. These teapots are extremely distinctive, and people will notice their exceptional design and quality when they step into your house.

Your teapot is about 10 Inches tall (25 cm) and holds more than 3 cups (less than a liter). It is safe in the microwave and dishwasher. It keeps the liquid hot for up to an hour. Made of the strongest porcelain, it will function on the table as a serving utensil (coffee as well), and on the shelf or mantle as artwork that will be the focus of every guest. Unforgettable.

No, it's not too pretty to use! Of course, this would be lovely on a mantel or bookcase, but it is also fully functional. I make tea in mine every day....and it just feels good! Swirl a little boiling water around first to warm it, then empty and add your tea bags, boiling water, and perhaps some fresh mint from your garden? What tea was meant to be! About 10 inches tall, holds one quart. Food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe as well.

The form is functonal, but aesthetically integrates with the glaze to create a synergy of beauty that I know is exceptional. (Hey, I'm as amazed at this work as anybody else is! Did I do that?) If you buy this one, I'd love to see a photo of it in your house! I know it will go to a good home

This dish is food safe, microwavable, and dishwasher safe. I don't recommend it in the oven, being made from porcelain it does not handle that kind of temperature change well.

This pot is beautiful enough to be the center of attention on your table when not in use, and will always draw comments and delight from your guests and family. Pottery doesn't match paint, so express yourself with this dish.

This is one of a new series of "computer"-inspired jars.
My pottery, as always, indicate the challenges and tribulations in our lives that give us character, that make us interesting, that give us our uniqueness and power. These jars explore the the different creative mechanism -- mechanical, electrical, figurative -- that shape each of us, and that we use to shape our surroundings.

I make these jars by throwing two separate pieces on the wheel, then attaching them together. These jars take several weeks to complete, use a much more complex glazing process for the colors, and they are a result of a delicate balance in the firing process. They are well worth the effort and time. But the joy for me is in the process: I get lost when I am working on these, I get into the "flow", and totally lose track of time.

The true joy of these is in looking at them, seeing the character of each side. Enjoy.

Wonderful for Sangria, iced tea, lemonade, etc., at 10.5 inches (26 cm) tall this pitcher is also a great flower vase. It holds close to half a gallon (2 l.). This isn't plain stoneware; my work is very unique and exciting. I am constantly evaluating my designs to create the most pleasing shapes and accents.

Made of high quality porcelain, it is actually much stronger and more durable than plain stoneware or earthenware. The handle is quite comfortable, even with it's radical curves. And you won't find this silky matte glaze anywhere else.

I have a detail there to show how the glaze was fluid. It is polished so it won't scratch, but it adds a real authenticity to the piece.

PLEASE NOTE THE CRACK: it is a process crack that WILL NOT go further or fall apart. It is fired, and the glaze has fused the crack where it is. This crack was not visible prior to firing. It is negligible when the lid is on the teapot. These teapots are normally $175, and this one is $50 Off.

This is one of a new series of sculptural teapots that I began making shortly before my seminal visit to France. They have evolved since then with great joy and whimsy.

My teapots, as always, indicate the challenges and tribulations in our lives that give us character, that make us interesting, that give us our uniqueness and power.

These teapots take several weeks to complete, use a much more complex glazing process for the colors, and they are a result of a delicate balance in the firing process. They are well worth the effort and time. But the joy for me is in the process: I get lost when I am working on these, I get into the "flow", and totally lose track of time.

This is functional, but only nominally. They don't pour as well as my "curly" teapots, but you can use them if you like. I wouldn't put the in the dishwasher or microwave, though. I'm not sure how the glass beads would do in there.

THe true joy of these is in looking at them, seeing the character of each side. Enjoy.

Miniature teapots have become so popular, great for collectors who have small spaces for display. Making miniatures has taken me to a new level of skill and design, and I'm glad so many people appreciate them.

I worked on this glaze for two years until I got this luscious luminescent glaze to work. It is a constant challenge being on the edge of flowing and running right off the pot. It's worth it.

This may be the last amber miniature teapot I have, and I don't know when I'll be getting back to this glaze, if ever.

I am well known for my skill making platters of various sizes. This platter is a stunning wall piece or dining room centerpiece. The honey amber is such a warm color, accented by the bright blue glaze that highlights porcelain's purity. Porcelain is actually stronger than regular stoneware.

Notice the groove on the foot of the platter. This groove hangs on any hook or nail or screw very securely. If you are concerned, put to screws in the wall about 2 inches apart horizontally. Then you can hang the platter in any direction that you choose, making your own input into the artwork.
