Made of salvaged Red Oak with a black leather sheath and a black linen strap.

The Dagger measures 16" long and the strap is approximately 53" inches long. Perfect size for your little knight!

This Dagger is finished with a natural, homemade finish of beeswax & coconut oil.

Brave, Brave Sir (insert your child's name here)! Don't forget your shield when going into battle! Protect yourself with this homemade wooden shield. Made of Birch plywood with a Northern White Cedar handle that is riveted at three points for maximum sturdiness. Piece measures 11"W x 14"H (from tip to tip).

This shield is left natural (no finish or artwork)...Be Creative! Make it your own! Paint, stencil, or wood burn your own emblem OR simply leave it blank.

Small Poi...Handdyed canvas bags on ropes with beautiful handdyed silk tails

Offered here is a set of Small Poi made with hand-dyed canvas bags suspended from climbing rope with beautiful hand-dyed silk tails streaming off the ends. These poi spin easily, as they have swivels connecting the canvas bags and the rope.

We have 2 different colors in stock...please specify *Rainbow* or *Purple* when ordering (*Green* is out of stock at the moment).

****Please note - we only have *Rainbow* with RED canvas bags in stock right now.

Recommended for ages 5 to adult. I mention the word "Small" in the title because we also make an "Large" Poi which has larger and heavier canvas bags and longer silk tails and rope.

Approximate measurements are as follows:
Canvas Bag - 4" long x 3" wide

Silk Tails - anywhere between 23"-25" long, with 3" at the top, tapering to about 1" at the end.

Climbing Rope - 18" long with a loop for fingers. This rope can be adjusted to fit many arm lengths.

One Poi weighs approx. 3 1/2 to 4 oz. They come in a set of two.

Here is a little history:
Poi originated from the indigenous Maori tribe of New Zealand. They would spin balls of dough on strings to
not only build coordination and gross motor skills, but also for ritualistic purposes.

Nowdays you can see the Maori twirling fire!

Attach a glow stick at night to your Poi for a sweet light show!

Offered here is a wooden teething ring for your beautiful babe! These teething rings are made from salvaged Walnut, Maple or Cherry wood and have a homemade, all natural beeswax, coconut oil, and vitamin E oil finish, with a hint of lavender essential oil (therapeutic-grade).

Teething ring measures 5/8” thick with a 2” diameter center. The other measurements vary, as the rings are all unique and individually hand-cut. On average, they measure 3” x 3 1/2”.

These hairsticks are one of a kind! They measure approximately 7" long and have a slender shaft. They are made from one piece of wood...The top/barrel or "bead" end measures approximately 1 1/2" long and 5/8" in diameter.

This listing is for one pair of Purpleheart hairsticks. The hairsticks in the photos are not the pair you will receive, but are pictured for the basic design of the sticks. The wood will vary from pair to pair.

All our wood is salvaged wood.

Offered here is a set of Large Poi made with PURPLE hand-dyed canvas bags suspended from climbing rope with beautiful hand-dyed Purple silk tails streaming off the ends. These poi spin easily, as they have swivels connecting the canvas bags and the rope.

Approximate measurements are as follows:
Canvas Bag - 4" long x 3" wide

Silk Tails - a little over 48" long, with 2" at the top, tapering to about 1" at the end.

Climbing Rope - approximately 23" long with a loop for fingers. This rope can be adjusted to fit many arm lengths...for an ideal length, simply measure from armpit to palm and adjust loop accordingly.

Go on a bug collecting journey with this little bug box. Let it be a home to bugs or little critters for a day or two. Make it cozy inside...collect moss, leaves, grasses, twigs and things to make the bug home complete.

The Bug box measures 6" long x 3 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" tall. The opening of the box measures 2". The box is made of Pine and is enclosed in window screen. It has a little wooden door made of cedar that opens on one end and leather handle for carrying. The edges are finished in birch bark.

We recommend this bugbox for children up to 6 or 7 years of age. Our daughter is 7, and can still get her hand through the opening comfortably, however she is petite.
