Here is a small, graphic doily with crystal iris beads on the edge.

6 3/4 inches in diameter (point-to-point) - it would be a nice accent on just about any table.

The three pictures give you different views of it so you can see the detail in it.

It has been blocked and lightly starched to hold the shape.

RECOMMENDED CARE: Hand Wash carefully with mild liquid detergent/soap; lay flat to dry - pin out to hold the shape if desired.

Sparkling Gold on 3D Flowers in Tan Lace - an 18 inch crocheted centerpiece with a flat center for putting vases, crystal bowls, figurines on!

A small bag in White with Sparkling Silver accents for a summer night outing or as an accessory for a Wedding.

Drawstring closure with a frill lace top and a small 3D bell for decoration.

The body of this bag is made with double-strand bedspread-weight white cotton crochet thread - solid and sturdy enough to hold a variety of things. The body is 3 inches in diameter and about 4 inches high to the closure.

The decorative top/border over the drawstring closure is crocheted with shell stitching with fans and picots -- using Silver blending filament to add Sparkle and Elegance. This filly, lace top or border is about 2 inches deep.

Attached at one spot just where the border starts is a small 3-dimensional bell -- also with the Silver accents.

The cord is solid crocheted braid (in a loop) - long enough that you can hang the bag from a wrist - either with loops on each side as pictured -- or you can draw the cord through the openings and have it longer.

The crochet thread this is made with is high quality and very strong - and the body of the bag is solidly stitched from the bottom to the closing.

A Doily with Cluny Lace center and 8 3-dimensional Roses around - the 3-dimensional Roses are in a variegated thread with bottom layer in christmas green.

The center Doily is a classic Cluny lace pattern with stems and picots.

The 8 3-dimensional Roses have 3 layers of 8 petals in s variegated thread with alternating cream, light green and light-medium pink. The 4th layer is done with longer petals in Christmas Green to look like leaves.

The whole doily is approximately 7 1/2 inches in diameter. The center Cluny Lace is approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter and the 3-dimensional Roses with the leaves are approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

Doily - IRISH ROSES in a HEART

A small doily (sometimes called a Trinket) in the shape of a heart with a loop.

It is made in classic Irish Crochet. Three 3-layer Irish Crochet Roses arranged inside a Heart Shape made with Irish Crochet Picot Lace.

The 3-layer Roses are made in these colors:

-- inside layer is Garnet Red
-- second layer is Wild Rose
-- outside layer is Baby Pink.

The Irish Picot Lace and the braided cord is in Garnet Red.

The Heart itself is 4 1/8 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches high. The braided cord loop is 2 inches high (total of 4 inches long).

I have done the best I could with my camera and computer to represent the colors accurately.

These are nice for all kinds of decorations: on a table, hung on a wall, framed with a contrasting backing, used as an applique or as a pendant on a necklace.

It has been made and is stored in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.

What A Wonderful Way To Have Flowers -- 3-D Roses and Shamrocks circle a center motif of a 3-D Rose in Leaves!!

In my own garden, I have a Rose Bush and Shamrock (or Clover) Ground Cover -- so for me this is a crochet creation representative of my own yard!!

Making this was a real joy --

-- Each 3-D Rose has a yellow center, a layer of Garnet petals and 2 layers of Wild Rose petals.

-- Each Shamrock is a 3-leaf Shamrock in Shamrock Green.

-- The 3-D Rose in the center motif has 10 "spokes" or "branches" of leaves around it, with light Nile Green accents or "branches" around it.

-- The backgound "netting" and outside edging is in pure white.

It measures approximately 14 3/4 inches "point-to-point".

It has been blocked and very lightly spray-starched to hold its shape.

Take a good look at all the pictures!!

RECOMMENDED CARE: HAND WASH carefully in cool water with a mild detergent (no bleach!!) - lay out flat in a warm spot to Dry (you can pin it out to shape it if desired).

A Personalized Custom Order Greetings in Filet Crochet - words & design in your choice up to size of 15 inches by 15 inches (or rectangular up to 225 square inches - say 20 inches by 10 inches) including border!

The first picture in this listing is a "GET WELL" Greeting with a Shamrock that I actually have for sale in my shop -- as an example -- but that one is a small one with a very simple border/edging.

This is for a CUSTOM ORDER Greetings done in Filet Crochet (as in the example) in size 20 crochet thread with letters 1 1/4 inches high.

You can choose a border/edging in different styles - I can send pictures by Etsy Conversation for you to choose or you can send me pictures of what you want or you can leave it up to me. The default is the simple textured border with a raised edge as in the "GET WELL" Greeting.

See examples of designs I can put with the words in the 4 additional pictures:

This doily measures 12 1/2 inches wide and 10 1/2 inches high.

Though a doily is usually considered for a table decoration, as this is an Image In Fiber, it can be framed and hung on a wall.

It is made with fine thread - size 30 100% cotton six-cord crochet thread.

Though the photographs show the fineness of the thread, unless you actually see it and feel it, you don't realize the thread's fine quality with a beautiful sheen.

A set of 4 small doilies in the shape of oak leaves - each one in a different fall color (clockwise from top left in first picture):

Yellows/Reds/Oranges
Light Copper

Each one, though basically the same shape, is unique -- they are about 6-7 inches high and about 4 1/4 - 4 1/2 inches wide.

They are done in Filet Crochet from my chart/design -- the material is DMC Pearl Cotton with its lustrous "pearly" effect that is really beautiful (which the photos do not properly reflect). You have to see the thread itself to see how beautiful it is!

They make great coasters or decorations for Fall Harvest or Thanksgiving.

Essentially it is a crocheted doily shaped into a basket or bowl.

Crocheted with a high quality, shaded pearl cotton thread in Blues and White, and capable of holding lightweight items, it is a great addition to any color theme including Blue and White!!

I have included several pictures, so you can see it from different angles!

A satin Blue ribbon is threaded through the doily all around.

The basket or bowl is about 6 inches wide and about 4 inches high.

Though this is primarly decorative - for example, in Americana or French Country styles - it can be useful in holding lightweight items, such as ornaments or pine cones (as in one of the photos) -- or leaves, branches or flowers that are either dried or fabric.

For Blue and White decor, it would make a beautiful centerpeice on a table!

The center is white, with 2 layers of spokes around it - the top layer being in Shaded Blues and the bottom layer being in a Navy Blue. This is what I call the "Blue Starburst"!

Around that is white lace with an edging in Shaded Blues and the Navy Blue with Crystal Iris Glass Seed Beads along the outer edge.

The doily has close to 400 of the Glass Seed Beads on it, so it sparkles.

Here is a Rooster - an image crocheted simply in a beige rose with a cream edging in Filet Crochet.

The Rooster is a popular subject in folk art, and various country styles, including French Country.

I crocheted this from my own chart, so that when laid on a table or a dark background the image of a proud Rooster just stands out!! See the pictures!

The center Lavender section is the Clusters of Grapes.

The outer Light Green section is of the Branches and Leaves -- representing the Grape Vines!!

Around the Light Green section is an edging in Lavender with wood beads crocheted in.

This is a doily crocheted in fine thread in a variety of fall colors:

Light Tangerine
Medium Yellow
Pale Yallow
Light Pale Yellow
Ecru.

With over 30 flowers in these colors, it looks like a field of flowers in bloom!!

The edging is a short ruffle (about 1 inch) in ecru.

The doily inside the ruffle measures about 7 3/4 inches across - with the ruffled edging being about 1 inch - it is about 9 3/4 inches across.

THE MATERIALS OF THIS DOILY
In doing my crochet and knitting, I have done my best to collect some of the highest quality materials I can get.

This doily is made totally in different colors, which I collected over some time, with one of the highest quality crochet threads in existence: DMC Cordonnet Special. Cordonnet Special was first made in 1884 and so has been around for over 120 years. In 1984, DMC published a book specifically about DMC Cordonnet Special, "CENTENAIRE du CORDONNET SPECIAL" and here are some quotes from it:

"The quality of Cordonnet Special remains unparalleled today. Its superiority has been maintained by the use of exclusive production methods, unchanged since 1901. It is still made from one of the finest fibers in the world - long staple Egyptian Cotton."

A Baby Hat Slightly larger than Premie or Newborn in All Soft White Cotton with a bit of stretch ....

This hat is slightly larger than the Newborn Baby Hat in the same design here in my shop. It is 13 inches around with the cuff at about 11 1/2 inches around - but it is crocheted ribbing and stretches some.

It is still a great hat to keep Baby's head warm and protected - and the cuff can be turned up. With the bottom cuff turned up, it is 4 inches high - with it down 5 1/4 inches high.

The White Cotton Yarn is Washed and Bleached Natural Cotton with no treatments on it.

This hat is All Cotton - No Attachments needed!

This is a design that caught my eye the first time I saw it.

I decided to do it with contrasting colors - so -

- in the middle is a star in shaded red coppery browns with a border in dark red copper brown -

- then there are fans in cream -

- then there is a round of clusters in dark red copper brown -

- and a final border in cream.

I feel that the contrasting colors bring out the pattern!

This doily is blocked and lightly spray starched - it measures 9 inches point-to-point.

This is a hand-crocheted Choker with 24 small round wood beads in different finishes, a carved wood Pendant and a magnetic clasp.

The wood pendant has a flower carved on each of 4 faces. (I did not make this bead.)

As it is a choker, I used a silver-colored magnetic clasp to make it easy to put on and take off.

The small round wood beads are in 3 finishes - 8 each:

-- natural finish
-- medium finish
-- dark finish.

They alternate around the crocheted Choker -- see the pictures to get a better look.

This is a hand-crocheted pouch or drawstring bag (or gift bag) made in Navy Blue, Red and White - PATRIOTIC!! AMERICANA!!

From top to bottom, it is about 9 inches - the size of the bag part for putting things in, from the tie down is 6 inches with it being 10 inches wide at the widest point at the bottom - this bag part narrows to about 7 inches wide at the tie.

It has a hand-crocheted cord that is braided navy blue and burgundy red and has a wood bead at each end (check out the third picture - the closeup). The cord is 28 inches long, so you could put something wide in it, sticking out the top, and tie with the cord.

It is lightweight and colorful - nice to carry things around in - or as a re-usable gift bag.

It is pictured in this listing as a gift bag, but use it however you want. Just keep in mind that it is a decorative, lightweight lace bag.

I have one in other colors that I use to carry around something I need to carry with me most of the time - I like it because it is lightweight, colorful and thin material and easily closes/opens with the tie cord. I made mine to the exact size for what I needed it!!

It is all cotton and colorfast - easily hand washable as delicate.

TREE LANDSCAPE TAPESTRY -- OOAK

Trees are one of my favorite things in nature and in life!

This is one done in Tapestry Crochet - a Design In Fiber.

Since I was a little girl, I have drawn them, sketched them, done water colors of them -- now in fiber, I have found a new way to do a tree.

This is a small doily/crocheted fabric designed by me -- made with Pearl Cotton and Crochet Thread - including the border, it is 5 inches wide by 6 inches high. The Tapestry Crochet piece inside the border is 3 3/4 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches high.

The Tapestry Crochet is done in shaded greens for the land and the leaves on the tree; in variegated browns and golds for the tree including tree branches; sky blue for the sky; light gold tan for the golden bird; camel tan for the border (to look like a frame).

This is unique, one of a kind -- I drew the picture/chart and crocheted it.

All the crochet threads used are colorfast.

It can be used as a decoration on a table, framed and hung on a wall or sewn onto something like a pillow or shirt or sweater - it is very lightweight.

RECOMMENDED CARE -- HAND WASH CAREFULLY IN COOL WATER WITH MILD DETERGENT - AIR DRY FLAT AND BLOCK/PIN OUT IF NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN SHAPE.

For those of use who love animals - in the wild and pets at home - we like to have reminders of them around us.

This doily is for a Bear Lover!!

I am one myself - having loved seeing them in zoos and in the wild (yes I have seen wild bears in U.S. forests)!!

So, I decided to crochet a picture of a Bear Head - I charted it out myself.

It is done in the technique of Filet Crochet.

The camel color I did it in -- it looks like a "Honey Bear"!

It is approximately 9 1/2 inches wide and 7 1/4 inches high, blocked and lightly starched.

You can put it on a table or dresser -- or you can frame it on some kind of background (usually felt, flannel or velvet in a contrasting color).

POTHOLDER and KITCHEN CLOTH Set

Kitchen cloth and potholder set made in Blues and Purples for the kitchen.

A combinations of Knitted and Crocheted with 100% worsted cotton yarn, all items are thick cotton in 2 colors:

-- Winterberry - a variegated yarn with shades of blues and purples

-- Williamsburg Blue - a solid color yarn in a blue that matches one of the blues in Winterberry.

Take a look at the pictures - these are a beautiful combination.

All of them are knitted designs with a crocheted crab stitch finished edging.

The cloth, which is in the lower right-hand corner of the first picture, measures 11 1/2 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches high. Good for a cloth for dishes or wiping counters (anywhere).

In the lower left-hand corner of the first picture is a knitted potholder with a border and has a central section that is knitted puff stitches. It has a crocheted loop for hanging. It is 9 1/2 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches high.

In the upper right-hand corner is a second potholder - it is knitted double-thick with a strand of each color held together -- and it has a border with a central section that is a thick rib pattern. It has a crocheted loop for hanging. It is 9 inches wide by 7 inches high.

All three of them would also make nice hotpads.

If a kitchen decor is in blues or purples, these would make a nice addition.

THESE ARE MADE WITH WORSTED COTTON YARN THAT WILL LAST AND CAN BE REUSED, REPLACING DISPOABLE ITEMS -- ECO-FRIENDLY!! This cotton yarn is conveniently washable: machine wash in lukewarm water on the delicate cycle with liqid detergent and no bleach, tumble dry on low heat setting or lay out to dry. I have a number of kitchen cloths/potholders that I made with this yarn, but I hand wash with liquid detergent and air dry.

REUSABLE and ECO-FRIENDLY!!

I think these would make a nice colorful set for someone!!

Actually, they are all done in a "tweed" as I call it. Each one is made with 2 strands of crochet thread held together - one in the stated color and one in white, which creates this "tweed" effect.

I have some similar to this that I made for myself and I use them all around the house for mugs and glasses - they are soft and thick enough to protect any furniture.

Each coaster is about 4 inches in diameter.

The price is for the whole set of 6.

A little trinket box in the shape of an apple - and it's green!

It is round with a lid that has a leaf and a stem at the top!

Personally, I love green apples!

It is mostly light green with and aqua green and christmas green on the outside rings of the lid.

The bottom is 2 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 inch high.

The lid is 3 inches in diameter (it fits over the bottom) and somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 of an inch deep.

It is hand-crocheted with high quality crochet thread in size 20 (slightly thinner than size 10 breadspread weight).

I have tightly crocheted it and, as the second picture shows, the trinket box will hold pearls (pearls are just props and are not for sale).

Great for all kinds of little things - marbles, paper clips, safety pins, small jewelry, beads -- or any kind of small trinket.

Great for the bedroom or office!!

Multicolor SHOULDER BAG with 3D Flower

A small Shoulder Bag - flap closure with 3D Yellow Flower on Multicolor Cotton Yarn --

This is small for those times when you need a bag, but you want something light to hold a few things and just throw over your shoulder!!

It is 6 1/2 inches wide and 7 inches high with a 1 3/4 inch rim done in shell stitch - and a 10 1/2 inch flap (also in shell stitch) with a 3D Flower on the end of it!

The strap is done in shell stitch, too, and is 36 inches long - good for a shoulder bag.

The 3D Yellow Flower is hand-crocheted in a shade of Yellow that is complimentary to the yarn.

Check the photos to see it. It is unlined - just plain cotton in a tight crochet stitch pattern.

Included with it is a small matching purse or case that could be used as a coin or bill purse, cell phone or ipod case, - or card case -- or a combination of these. This is 2 1/2 inches wide, 4 inches high closed and 1 1/2 inch flap with 2 snaps. Should hold things without them falling out. (The cell phone peaking out in the picture is not included in the sale!)

DOILY-Floral Fabric-White Lace

One-of-a-kind - OOAK - DOILY with a Fabric Center with different colors of flowers (listed below) on an openwork fine thread Doily.

The doily is hand-crocheted with DMC Cordonnet Special (six-cord 100% cotton crochet thread) size 30 Blanc (White) and is 11 inches point-to-point.

I call the design Flower Buds (my name).

The fabric circle in the center is made of 2 circles of floral fabric hand-sewn together and hand-sewn to the doily. The circle is approximately 5 inches in diameter.

The floral fabric design has the following colors in it:

Navy
Medium blue
Light Blue
Rose
Dark Leaf Green
Light Leaf Green
Light Tan
White

There are 4 pictures:

1. Lying open with the fabric circle up
2. Lying open with the doily up
3. With it tied shut as a pouch with the fabric on the outside. (It is reversible.)
4. The cord with the knots at each end.

You could also use this as a small drawstring pouch/bag, as pictured in the third photo. Included is a hand-crocheted braid cord, in the same thread as the doily, that can be used to tie it together to make it into the pouch/bag.

This is a small, lightweight pouch that could hold a small amount of coins or some lipstick or tickets, etc. -- as it is a doily with a fabric circle, it will not really hold much of anything very heavy. When tied shut as in the third picture, the outer rounds of the doily hang over and give a nice lacey effect.

The cord is 12 1/2 inches long with a knot at each end - it is plenty of length for tying the pouch closed.

This is detailed, fine thread openwork crochet with new fabric painstainkingly hand-sewn!! (It could be reversible.)

A doily done in the classic combination of Navy Blue and White.

6-pointed Navy Blue stars inside White 6-pointed stars - with a textured Navy Blue edging.

The Navy Blue edging is in Tubework Crochet.

What is Tubework Crochet? I found this technique in a Magic Crochet Magazine from 1992 - it is a revival of a yesteryear ornamental technique - a 3-dimensional tube all around the doily as a textured edging.

It is 11 inches across at the widest points.

Navy Blue and White designs are common in various Home Decor styles: Americana, Nautical, French Country and Jewish.

All cotton sunhat - hand-crocheted with 100% cotton yarn - cotton is cool for the hot days and the wide brim will shade your face.

The hat, including the brim, is crocheted with 2 strands of cotton worsted yarn in red and white - which gives it a "tweed" look.

The 4-layer, 3-dimensional flower is crocheted with 1 strand of the same cotton worsted yarn, so it exactly matches the hat. It is basically a large 6-petal, 4-layer rose in red and white and is about 4 inches across, petal-petal.

A crocheted Landscape - a drawing in crochet - I named it "Mountain Cabin".

Done in Filet Crochet, it is designed with several different stitches including popcorn stitches for the trees and bushes and outlining the mountains. The image itself is done in a beige - the border is done in tan & beige design.

I wanted the edging to look like a picture frame!

The doily is blocked and lightly starched and measures 12 1/2 inches wide and 8 1/2 inches high.

Here is a heart-shaped doily with a detailed design in white inside the heart with a Lovebird, Butteryfly and Curlycues.

It is done in the technique of Filet Crochet.

Delicate Irish Crochet HEART - Inside it are 3 Irish Roses and with faux Pearls -- All Pure White!

The 3 Irish Crochet Roses have 4 layers of petals with 6 small faux Pearls in the center of each.

Around the cluster of the 3 Irish Roses is rounds of Irish Picot Lace in the shape of a HEART!

Very delicate - quite beautiful - made with high quality Heirloom weight DMC Cordonnet Special cotton crochet thread.

It is 4 inches high and 4 1/2 inches wide - blocked and lightly starched to hold the shape.

Can be used as decor in a home - on a table or hanging --

-- or can be used as a decoration (applique) on linens or clothing --

-- or could be used as a pendant on a necklace or choker.

This might be nice either for a WEDDING or a ROMANTIC GIFT.

RECOMMENDED CARE: Wash carefully in cool water with mild liquid detergent (no bleach) and lay or pin out to dry.
