This spoon is @8 1/4" long with a really nice curve to the handle. At the handle's end is a hole so the spoon can be strung up and hung. Around the hole is a sunburst design in dark teal. The mouth scoopie end is a cloudy, milky teal. Lettering is in delicious grass green.

This was going to be my avatar originally. Yet, I was kinda surprised to find so many avatars starting with sea.

So I came up with kreatus -which is basically the same concept. We create who we are. We create a world around us of all of our creations and creative energy. All I can picture is this ocean swirling around me --this good energy coming from me, spreading out from me and splashing out onto others along the edges as it grows.

This is the sea --the SEA OF ME.

This pendant is less than 1 ounce in weight and @3 inches long.
The glazes are purple lettering and shades of blue.

This ceramic piece I harved a simple flower into. It is around 1/8" thick by 5/8" in diameter. Both lightweight and durable (yet still breakable).

The rim of the oval and the flower's petals are a periwinle blue and the center is gold.

Brass ringband is adjustable.

Wabisabi- to me- essentially means as is. Some might call these pieces seconds or less than perfect and thus why the set has such a stellar price!

The bowl has an inside and outside ocean waves of luminous sky blue. It stands @ 2" tall. Being not completely on center gives it an interesting shape.
The spoon is @ 6 1/4" long. It's handle is relatively straight. The T&R in TRY THIS are a bit botched yet still readable. Lettering is in a dark grass green with the rest of the spoon in a cloudy teal and a dusty denim blue.

Cool matching colors into a beautiful little set...

This bowl is almost 3 3/4" tall and 6 1/4". It is wheelthrown and the mouth is slightly oval in shape. Inside is a light grapey purple with a cobalt blue swirl in the middle. On the outside- notches were hand carved into the clay up from the base. The texture is delightful.
Notches were hand painted with a gorgeous brick red underglaze and the background is a less dense version of the color. Around the foot is a dark blue band.

Inside there's a dark green little spiral. The rest is white with speckles of lots of grog showing through.
Outside are 3 different carved pupas each attached to their own brown branch and it reads...MORPH... in shades of green with some yellow in the background.

Yet again- another pair of my objects that seem to fit very well together! So they need to find a new home together...

First is the spoon rest, soap dish,...use it for what ever you wish.... It is @ 4 1/2" by 3 1/2". There's a little house, imprinted green background foliage, and a dark teal moon with a halo around it.

And second is the spoon. Measuring @ 5" long. The end of the handle has a clover green moon. The top of the handle is a pale blue stripe leading into the cup of the spoon. The rest is a dark royal blue.

Took my time sitting there and carving this bowl and it was fun. It turned out really well and hand painted too- using underglazes with clear over them.

This bowl stands 3 and 1/4 inches high and is 5 and 1/2 in diameter. The foot and all the scenery of the pot are hand carved and I stamped in my little sun.

The lighthouse is in maroon and white with the yellow glow coming out of the top. The bottom with the waves is in blues with greens underneath. In the sky it transitions from blue to purple with clouds ands birds at a distance. And traveling the waters is a periwinkle blue sailboat. Inside the bowl is that light lavender spilling over from the top of the sky.

Another one of a kind bowl from moi...

This bowl measures 1 and 7/8 inches tall and 5 and 7/8 in diameter. The foot of the bowl is hand carved when the clay is in the leather-hard stage giving it a wonderful texture when held.

Colors are white (or just clear really) with a cobalt blue swirl on the inside and on the outside a dusty denim blue. The rim is glazed in the matching cobalt.

This set of bowls are an irregular pair!

The larger one is the oddest with the edge of it's lip being gritty instead of the smoother texture. It is 3" tall and 5 1/2" diameter (with a slight pour spout to off center). The smaller one is 2' by 4 3/4" diameter.

Both have stars stamped around the outside in the same teal blue color that is the insides. Backgound color is a brilliant chartreuse lime green!

Would make a unique house warming gift.

These are about as darling as it gets!

The glaze colors are a rosy purplish red and a smoky blue grey. The salt shaker says SALT on the top and it is shorter; with the height of 1 and 1/4 inches. It is glazed in blue with a rose stripe and the word SALT is in rose.

The pepper shaker is taller ; with a height of 2 inches. It is glazed in the rose color with a blue stripe and on the top there is a blue P.

Each has a hole in the bottom where the cork piece fits so they are fully functional.

Oh and they're covered in alphabet soup letters. A very cute set!

This bookmark is a brand new design of mine. The part that goes in the book is the ribbon. The ceramic part sticks out of the book and is a tree with the words FAMILY TREE pressed into the "bark".

Glaze colors are chocolate brown and grass green. The pendant measures 3 inches long and 2 wide. Ribbons are 11 inches long. The ribbon colors match the glaze in a dark brown and 2 shades of green.

This was a creation out of love for the beautiful state I live in. Everything on this bowl is hand carved or pressed in with my own hand carved stamps and wheel thrown.

It measures 6 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches tall. Can be used for decoration, a conversation piece, or to eat from.

Inside is a pretty pale green with light blue at the center and MAINE pressed in blue over the green.
Outside is a detailed scene which includes; A red and white striped lighthouse, A sailboat on ocean waves, seagulls at a distance, A sun, A moon, carved in grasses and more waves........blues and greens and glowing yellow....

The stars were originally pendants then ornaments.
This small star needs a tree or a vessel...not sure what...but they do match well these 2 -I know that.

Slightly Off Center bowl

Oh did this one take some time!
She is one of the last ones to transition out from the old kiln and into the new. Multiple firings have been done on this baby that stands 2 3/4" tall and is 5 1/4" in diameter.

Flames of yellow are carved into one side while the SLIGHTLY OFF CENTER wording a rest of the outside is in violet and indigo. Inside is a see-through burgundy wash with a grapey center.

This could be with Virtuous Vessels but
it needs a nice new home now ;)

Bone spoon and Bowl Set

This couple was so not planned out! They were laying side by side and looked like a very natural fit- so they joined forces.

♥The bowl is almost 7" in diameter and 2 1/2" high. It has a little divit pushed in for a spoon to rest on the rim and not fall into the soup or whatever. Inside is a gorgeous deep blue green. Outside, the bottom has hand carved notches of the same color and the background in clover green. Yummy.
♥The spoon is 5 3/4" long. It has a handle shaped like a bone and colored dark gray. The inside of the spoon is the exact match to the inside of the bowl with 2 similar stripes on either side of the handle to sync it up even more!

What a fabulous sale this would be. It's harvest time, so I'm just going to use my wholesale prices here on ETSY for a while.
All three of these bowls are thrown on my wheel and then HAND carved and painted by moi. Two apples & one tree each.

Sky blue is the backgrounds and the inside of the smallest bowl. The insides of the other 2 are avocado green. Reds, green, and dirt brown are used for deeply carved images.
The largest bowl is 5 1/4" wide & 2 5/8" tall.
The 2 smaller ones are @ 2 3/4" tall & 3 3/4" wide.
Divine texture.

Perfect for a nature lover's treat dish trio.

This is one of my favorite dishes from the new batch.

The 3 houses down the middle are cobalt blue. The 2 pillar leaves are emerald green and the dirt is chocolate brown. It measures 4 1/2" by 3".

It's Topsy Turvy Day!
(just like on Clifford -the big red dog)

This vessel is nice and thick with a twist towards the bottom. It is @ 3" high and 5" across the mouth.
A unique piece with 3 carved in exclamation points in forest green and 3 carved olive green notches above those. On the opposite side is a small carved handle in cobalt blue which is lightened up for the background outside. Inside is a beautiful light sage green.
The texture is nice and gritty from all the grog I use.

Great for soup or ice cream....

This pressing of actual nature objects into the clay is an ongoing series that started a long time ago and shall carry on for the sake of tradition.

What a beautiful little bowl this is. It is 4 1/2" wide and 2 1/4" tall. The inside is a dark shadow green and there are three seed imprints: big one with baby on one side and a solo mission seed on the other.
Outside glazes are a rich olive green for the top and a mint green at the bottom.

So many uses
and a great gift for a nature lover!

What a beaut!!!

A rare gem in a sea of difference...which is...my shop. I love this bowl, probably because I love thunderstorms.
Hand carved and hand painted, this bowl would make an oh-so-lovely gift.
Standing 3&1/2" tall and 5&1/2" wide, this vessel would be a wonderful edition to a unique pottery collection. The clouds are deeply carved into the sky blue background and glazed dark gray with pearl gray over it. The bright yellow lightning bolts are carved in and the word THUNDER is in between the two!
Inside the sky blue is brighter (and less stormy) with a gray lightning bolt in the center.

Standing only 2 1/2" high with a 4 3/4" diameter at the lip means this pot is small. It's a cute little bowl with 3 hand carved apples around the outside. They are hand painted reds ans greens with brown wooded stems. The inside is white with the sky blue color from the outside in stripes along the throw lines!

A bowl for those moments when you feel like you are where you want to be. Heart-shaped with pale sky blue glaze and an orange ring on the inside. Beautiful royal blue on the lip and outside body.

Nice and thick -like the porridge that can be eaten with it. The lettering of THIS IS YUMMY is in a cheery pumpkin orange (with a slight tint of that color rubbed into the handle). Inside the spoon's cup is a milky royal blue.

And now for something completely different...

Intriguing, and thick, and durable is the presentation of this natural vessel. Inside is dirt brown. The foot and the lip have terra cotta and forest green colors mixed together. The 2 carved in paw prints and the words ATTRACTION IS ANIMAL are in a dark cobalt blue. The 2 carved in animal heads (staring at each other) have rosy red noses and brown fur, whiskers, and eyeballs...
Stands 3 3/4" tall and @5 1/2" in diameter (the wide way as it has a soft heart shaped opening).
Different is good.

Colorful....sunsetish...gorgeous!
It really is difficult to give a decent idea of what these type of bowls I make look and feel like in just 5 pics because they are so dang detailed!
This is the first bowl to include my large seagull stamp (along with lots and lots of smaller seagulls at a distance). The sky has indigo, blue, yellow, and violet. There is a sky blue little home in the green grass and a crescent moon up above. The waves are bluegreen/aqua...
Inside is a rosy pink almost violet and the rim in dusty blue giving the entire piece matching hues ;)

Here's a nice and sturdy hand carved apple pendant hanging from a neutral tan suede cord. The lettering reads APPLE TIME and is glazed granny smith green along with the leaves. There's a bit of a matte rosy red edge and background tint. The stem is earth brown.

One of my spoons... quite long... 7 & 3/4" in fact!
It's handle has a real elegant curve to it and there's a carved out hole at the end for hanging. Let me know if you'd like a certain color ribbon to go with it.

The TEASPOON word and inside of the spoon scoop is a grapey, lilac, milky purple. The star is chartreuse limey green. The rest of the spoon has a bunch of subtle hints of color rubbed in here and there... lovely♥
