I call this Bead Soup because I mix a little of this a little of that untill I get a good batch. This mix has about fifteen different kinds of beads that are are woven onto a turquoise colored base. It has a silver tone closure and is 7" long and 1/2" wide.
This bracelet is very supple and comfortable to wear.

Nature plays a huge part in my beadweaving designs and this is a great example.
The sides of this vase are covered in two layers of seed beads. The under layer is woven with a matt chocolate color and shiny coppery gold beads are on the top. The shiny brown beads then fan out at the top forming a ruffle like opening that looks like a bursting pod with tufts of white fluff waiting for the wind to carry its seeds away.
This is one of my favorite pieces and is one that everyone just wants to touch, it has such an unusual texture.
People who know of my vases just love to flip them over to see the bottom design as all of them are different.

This little vase is covered with seed beads.
The outside of the vase shows a very even texture...
it's just fun to touch.
The beads used are matt green with a hint of purple accented with a tiny shiny iridescent darker green.
Salmon and rose colors are used in the diamond pattern.
Because the beadwork is layered onto the glass vase, by looking inside, you can see the golden green first layer.
This vase, like all of the vases I cover, has a detailed decorative bottom.
3 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches high.

The Showy Lady Slipper is a flower that grows wild in forests and shady wetlands and in my opinion is one of the prettiest.

I am a member of the Etsy Beadweavers. Every month, we have a creative challenge. This month we were asked to find a photo of an exotic flower and mimic that flower using our beadweaving skills.

I chose to recreate a Lady Slipper using the smallest seed beads I could find (size 15) to get as much detail as possible.

The total width is 3 inches, the height of the beaded flower is 3 1/2 inches. The flower has a wire stem and stands a total height of 10 1/2 inches.
