This little gem was cast from a delicious antique ring I found, it is solid sterling silver and treated for an antique appearance. The perfect 'pinky' ring.

After a recent move back the UK, I discovered that precious metals over a certain weight legally need to be hallmarked. This represents such a strong english tradition I relished in the idea that they could be very visible. And so instead of hiding the marks I made them large and proud and placed them on the front.
This ring is marked with the Lion, which is the traditional fineness mark and represents Sterling Silver. The 'K' represents the year it was made. THIS year! And is ONLY available this year.

Each piece is hand finished. Custom sizes up to US size 6 included in price, and IN STOCK.

This ring was re-created from a magnificent antique carving knife dated 1841.
I tracked the original knife down at a flea market in the east end of London, and it features a very unusual intricate engraving.
The knife was stamped with the year and place it was made originally, which was usual in the 19th century, and adds a wonderful traditional quality to the ring.

The ring measures 2cm at its widest point, and has an antique finish.

In this case I create a textured piece which is reproduced in wax so the fine detail can be preserved. The wax is then burned off and replaced by the precious metal.
These pieces then shaped into the form of a ring, and two amethyst stones then set onto the outside.

The Falls chain is part of the Rockwell series which contrasts rough and smooth, and is a comment on poverty. It alludes to destroyed buildings, work unfinished, and a want for a better life.

This piece evokes so many different memories for me, travelling in St. Petersburg years ago, with all of those beautiful old buildings that the country couldn't afford to repair.
The texture on the fastening reads like a yarn, like being in poorest parts of China, washed garments hung on a line, torn off, and moving in the wind.

And to remind me of home, I named it after the Falls/Shankill divide in Belfast.
When my room mate puts it on he looks so totally northern Irish that it really is funny.

This is a handmade, oversized chain, with contrasting textured and smooth areas for an organic twist on the classic boxchain.

Each piece was cast from a wax carving, cleaned, and attached individually. There are approx 40 hours in the making so this really is a unique piece.

Made in sterling silver, and hallmarked. Approx 28" length and nice and heavy.

The Falls chain is part of the Rockwell series which contrasts rough and smooth, and is a comment on poverty. It alludes to destroyed buildings, work unfinished, and a want for a better life.

This piece evokes so many different memories for me, travelling in St. Petersburg years ago, with all of those beautiful old buildings that the country couldn't afford to repair.
The texture on the fastening reads like a yarn, like being in poorest parts of China, washed garments hung on a line, torn off, and moving in the wind.

And to remind me of home, I named it after the Falls/Shankill divide in Belfast.
When my room mate puts it on he looks so totally northern Irish that it really is funny.

This is a handmade, oversized chain, with contrasting textured and smooth areas for an organic twist on the classic boxchain.

Each piece was cast from a wax carving, cleaned, and attached individually. There are approx 40 hours in the making so this really is a unique piece.

Made in sterling silver. Approx 8" length, but custom sizes can be requested, and nice and heavy. Polished or oxidised finish available.
