The one-piece Wild Onion Jacket Master Pattern replaces sweatshirts as a sewing foundation for creating a quilted jacket. It's as fun and easy to sew as a sweatshirt, but the Wild Onion Jacket Master Pattern has been professionally graded and sized from XS - XXL for a flattering fit! All sizes are included in the pattern.

There are only two seams to sew, and finishing techniques are familiar quilting techniques. The bonus is that the jacket is completely reversible, so you can have twice the fun wearing your creation!

The Master Pattern requires 4 yards of fabric, plus 4 yards for lining; batting requirement is 72"x72". The variations for this jacket are endless!

The custom beaded, dimensional dragonfly with metallic mesh wings sits upon a panel of one-of-a-kind red embellished silk surrounded by flowers, beads, yarns, and crystals. I created the panel using reclaimed silk fibers from a silk factory in Nepal. The fabric is embedded with unique colors and textiles, then extensively machine stitched to create texture and structure.

The bag itself is created with red cotton lame, embossed with an elegant rose pattern. There is a subtle shine to the fabric, which lends itself to day or evening wear. The lining is gold, also with a subtle sheen. There is an interior pocket to carry your goodies; double handles add sophistication when you slip them over your arm.

Flowering branches made of free-motion embroidery highlights the unique embellished silk panel on this bag. The branches were hand drawn, then extensively stitched to resemble textured bark. Custom beading adds a bit of sparkle to the surface of the thread painting. Silk flowers bloom along the branches, with Swarovski crystal glinting in their centers.

The one-of-a-kind panel was created with reclaimed silk fibers from Nepal. Embedded within the silk panel are more flowers, unique colors, yarns, fabric charms, and beads.

The bag has a golden tan tweed-like texture with a silky hand.
Spacious enough for daytime use, the bag's sophisticated exterior will also look great going out for dinner. The gold satin interior feels so luxurious and unexpected with the tweedy exterior. A double pocket conveniently corrals your goodies. Double handles look elegant worn over your arm.
