About the image:
Cowgill’s, mini-mart with a drive-up window, has a sign out front that list all the towns in the classic, "(Get Your Kicks On) Route 66" song. The cars have been moved, but the sign still remains today.

This photo was taken during a winter storm with Black and White film. I digitally scanned the negative, printed, attached to backing board, and made it into a clock.

I hope you like it. I can do just about any image I own on a clock. Enjoy.

I love to camp under the stars with a warm campfire. In northern Arizona the sky is so clear that you can see almost every star. This long exposure was taken while camping with my husband. The exposure took about 5 minutes and you can see we didn't stand still for the shot. I love the way the fire lights up the campsite and especially the trees.

Photographed using my 35mm SLR and Fuji slide film. The slide was digitally scanned then printed on Endura professional paper, the best archival quality paper out today. Print is signed and numbered on back. It is also signed and numbered on the front right corner of mat.

The store feels like a small museum and sells cold drinks and Mother Road mementos, but the real gem of the place is the owner’s mint condition 1957 Corvette.

Once a popular Route 66 trading post, café and truck stop, Twin Arrows is casualty of the Interstate. Today the land is State Trust property and its famous arrows are slowly being worn away by the elements.

Goldfield is a shell of it former self, but still has many buildings in good repair. Driving though the town on the main highway you might think it was still thriving, until you stopped and took a closer look. Then you would see the boarded up windows and decaying entrance ways. The town was founded in 1902 and boasted 30,000 in population by 1908. Floods, fire, and the end of the mining boom turned the town into the ghost town of today.
The most famous building was the Goldfield Hotel, still considered one of the most haunted hotels in the US.

This image was captured using my DSLR. The colors were altered in Photoshop. The final image was printed on Endura professional paper. Photo is attached to watercolor paper to make it ridged and easy to frame. The ACEO is signed and numbered on back.

This ghost town has a rich history including mining, fire and flood. Once this town boosted the longest bar and the finest hotel between the Rocky Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. The Santa Fe Saloon, serving customers since 1905, today operates four comfortable guest rooms. These shacks in the back of the saloon, once sheltered drunk miners when they couldn’t make it home in winter storms.

This night photograph was taken with available light, with a long shutter speed.

This beautiful Cathedral is the fourth to occupy this location in London, it's predecessor was destroyed the Great Fire. This St. Paul's was was designed by the court architect Sir Christopher Wren and built between 1675 and 1710. It was the centerpiece of the newly designed city after the fire.
One of my favorite things about this cathedral is the Whispering Gallery in the dome. Built so perfectly that you can whisper on the wall and anyone who has their ear to the wall can hear it.

The inside of one of the abandoned house in Cuervo, New Mexico on old Route 66.
The settlement began around 1901 when the CRI&P Railroad came through and it peaked with the traffic of Route 66, but today Cuervo is a ghost town.
"Cuervo" is Spanish for crow, and the town seems to be named after the closest peak with the same name.

There are many varieties of Yucca plants found in the southwest. I find that the seed pods, after the seeds have been dispersed and the pods have dried up are as beautiful as most flowers. Here I tried to demonstrate the beauty I see.

A red hibiscus turned white with a hint of pink in the shadows. This image is available only in the ACEO, 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. Edition limited to 7.

This beautiful flower was captured using Fuji side film on my Minolta x700 35mm SLR. Then the slide was scanned digitally and altered in Photoshop. The final image was printed on Endura professional paper. Photo is attached to watercolor paper to make it ridged and easy to frame. The ACEO is signed and numbered on back.

It comes with a plain velum envelope for protection.

About the image:
Cowgill’s, mini-mart with a drive-up window, has a sign out front that list all the towns in the classic, "(Get Your Kicks On) Route 66" song. The cars have been moved, but the sign still remains today.

This photo was taken during a winter storm with Black and White film. I digitally scanned the negative, printed, attached to backing board, and made it into a clock.

The clock is 8 x 10 with black hands. Brass hands by request.
