The components I used to create this piece were actually among the first I ever carved out of wax, and they have been sitting, orphaned, waiting to be used. I think they went together quite well. The earwire is permanently soldered onto the backs for stability. Sterling Silver.

The richly colored deep pink to red is often called 'pigeon blood red'. They are 5 mm round rubies, weighing 1.6 carats. The dealer who sold me these gemstones grades them as SI, heat-treated, and coming from Madagascar (and therefore conflict-free, as opposed to stones from Myanmar.) I purchased them for a good price which allows me to extend the same to you.

These are Pendants featuring the Ouroboros (also Ouroborus, Oroboros, Uroboros) which is the old philosophic symbol of the snake eating its tail. It is also called a Gnostic cross. They are made of Sterling Silver.

I tried to come up with a leaf effect with the sparkling, pear-shaped pale green amethyst, and interest result. The clarity of the stone gives off a shimmering, watery play of light. The piece is strong and the stone well protected. though it remains a more delicate stone than sapphires or diamonds and should be worn with care.

The piece is 3.5x3 cm. The stone is 12x20mm and weighs 7.9 carats, and comes from Brazil.

This ring is composed of a recent component and one of my first carvings. The head originally began as part of a small puppet of Gilgamesh. I added the loupe in which is set a dark blue-green sapphire. Is this character an engineer of old, a watchmaker, a jeweler? A patron of handiwork, a sort of mask of Hephaestus? This is the first of my steampunk creations. More than simple arrangements of watch gears, intend to create a series of magical, mechanical wonders that is carefully hand-designed to be distinctively unique.

This ring is a size 7 1/2. I can make this ring in any size, though the stone would be a more clear, light blue sapphire such as appears in my 'Aeon 2' Earrings.

I went a little wild with these critters - they are neither matching or mirrored in any way. In fact, they're not even the same kind of snake. I figure there's some folks out there with a penchant for the asymmetrical.

On the cobra, with its head flaps accounted for, you can fit him through a hole that is a little less than 10mm. The other fits into a hole that's 5mm. Both are under the 2ga size.

These ear weights are made of the same quality bronze that is used for fine art sculpture. I can make these in silver for around $150, let me know and I will list it!

Zeke is about 2 3/4 " across, made of the same quality bronze we cast fine art sculpture in. It's had a patina added to it, and a light waxing to protect its color, though bronze changes according to its environment. A fabulous quality really.

Other option:

Getting something just right can take time, but I find it always pays off in the long run. If you prefer, I can leave off the belt buckle loop and pin, and send it along instead with a little wood stand to serve as an art medal.

Here in Los Angeles, all the palms planted in the 30s and 40s have grown quite tall. Besides the fact that they provide no shade at that height, they must be climbed and have their dead branches cut away periodically. At this point, no one is crazy enough to climb up that high... so the dead branches stay put until the next windstorm. Afterward, the intersections are strewn with these large, bizarre fan leaves.

The inspiration for this came from a stone carving left behind by that epic civilization that lies just before the consciousness of European arrival. Not only is this snake toothy, but it seemed to me to be snorting! I've embellished quite a bit.

I like to do honor to the ancestors of nearly half the people who live in my city, because well it just feels like something we all share.

I consider this piece to be just the right thickness for it's dimension, something you could sink your teeth into...

The piece I now have set with a round orange Padparascha Sapphire. I think it looks better. So the piece is subtly marked down. The sapphires in this size I have available in yellow, orange, pink red and blue. I can still set with a square (princess) cut blue green sapphire, of a subtle color scarcely caught here, for an additional $20.

It's properly called 'Captain of Your Own Ship' and is a nice big 3" diameter, made of bronze with a nice weight to it. It's had a patina added to it, and a light waxing to protect its color though bronze changes according to its environment. A fabulous quality really.

This buckle is pretty substantial weight wise, so it's recommended for swashbucklers but not so much for sprites and spriggans.

Getting something just right can take time, but I find it always pays off in the long run. If you prefer, I can leave off the belt buckle loop and pin, and send it along instead with a little wood stand to serve as an art medal. I can also plate these puppies with silver or gold, or color them differently, I'm open to the possibilities.

This bracelet has a story.

Short version: The symbols are from alchemy, the early days of modern chemistry mixed in with religious philosophy, like everything at the beginning of science.

The symbols from left to right are: Ash, Sulphur, Mercury, Gold, Silver, Water, Borax and Lead

Long version:

The charms represent an old masterly understanding, in a Hermetic way, of the transformation of the person through stages of refinement. Literally and metaphorically, different elements are described on the way to the 'philosopher's gold'. One opinion is that the symbols represent a specific, ancient psychology work. Whatever their true meaning, there is a mystery that surrounds the traditional codes of the alchemists.

My opinion: I find this a synthesis of life in general, the way we lead our lives include rather complex sets of symbols, many having multiple meanings and uses in the various worlds we encounter. All that is fancy jargon for just another language in the attempt to describe what it is we're all about.

This ring includes a design that is a near perfect replica of a bonafide crown of Babylon. It originally was to crown a small silver puppet of Gilgamesh. If you're not familiar, the epic of Gilgamesh is a heck of a read as one of the world's first books... and it happens to be about the environment, deforestation, and other perfectly relevant topics.

Inside the crown is a simple white Topaz, mostly there to cap it off. It's like a surprise found in an old coat pocket.

This piece came from a pretty sudden place, and is one of my most conceptual pieces thus far I think. Completely one of a kind, a carved copped snake makes to bite its own tail. The piece is detailed with three sparkling medium blue sapphires, mounted on a slight incline. This piece is designed to work well with the shape of a sternum, lifting the stones and sending their sparkle outward.

I am offering this as a bargain, which may not last soon. This ring has an absolutely beautiful pear garnet with smoky red-orange tones, a stone I personally selected. As I completed my mounting of it, the bezel fell off the ring! I have now used epoxy to reattach it, as it was already set. (I never use epoxy in place of solder, and would tell you if I did.) Anyhoo, this ring is still lovely. And the epoxy might hold for some time to come, especially with a careful wearer.

So, act now and you get the ring for a song. Eventually, I may get around to sawing off the bezel and starting from scratch.

The stone is a Spessartite Garnet, about 7x9mm, and weighs 2.45 carats.

One Ruby Heart Ring

This is a ring that I would definitely rate as student grade. It was a very complicated bezel, and the stone is more of a trillion than a heart after all, so I offer it to you at a discount. It still looks mighty fine, and the photos here just don't show the color at its best - out in the daylight, the stone is a lovely almost primary red translucency, what some gemhounds call 'Pigeon Blood Red'. I am not sure if they mean that pigeons are more red blooded than other animals or not.

And the stone is a Ruby after all, a nice big one with a great color. Let's see, you could go to the mall and pick up a machine perfect reproduction ring with a generic red colored stone, or you could own this lovingly unique, hand made studio object containing a lovely red ruby.

Swiss Blue Octagon Two Ring

This ring is a real milestone in my progress as a jeweler. The simple box hugging this ample, bright clear stone was in fact far more complicated to make than it looks. I hope it goes to a good home.

The Topaz in this ring is a large size, 8 x 12 mm, and possible a good match for a man's pinky ring because of it. It is set in a strong, open-bottomed bezel, so the skin tone of the wearer gets mixed up in the translucent color of the stone. It's a fun one, and weighs 6 carats.

Eye of the Storm - Lg Citrine Fancy Cut Pendant

This piece is a real show stopper, this stone will not go unnoticed! It took me a while to figure out how to display it, and chose to go bare and simple this time. The iridescent, needle sparkle in the stone comes from a special concave cut, something I am a big fan of. The color is the best shade of what is called Madeira Citrine, a rich, earthy and warm yellow orange. Mind you, I am a young jeweler and while the mounting is sturdy, the stone itself and its simple display will require delicacy when handling.

The overall length of the piece is 8 cm. The stone is 18 x 25mm and weighs 29.8 carats. The chain shown in the last photograph is included.

The result of an experiment in organic form, this has the flavor of a mossy prehistoric floor teeming with competing flora for the next pod, stem and leaf of the future. It is solid and stoic, looking rather sweet as a men's pinky ring, or a somewhat bold ladies primary ring for those who prefer a satisfying tug to remind them of their elegance.

The straight edges of the stone balance with the swooping lines of the ring, just as the substantial 9.6 carat stone is a lovely two-tone number which moves from light transparent gold to deep purple, called Ametrine a transition from Citrine to Amethyst, both varieties of quartz. The stone comes from Bolivia. It looks a little dusty in the photo, but this stone is naturally crystal clear and free of inclusions.

This ring is one of a kind. It is one of my first attempts at stone setting, and like all mys designs has the rustic qualities you would expect from a small workshop. I hope you like it!

It occured to me that most all suns are presented as perfect round orbs with evenly distributed rays, straight, angular and serrated. I can call this ear weight pair petit in my catalog because it is much smaller than my other designs. I was being asked why I do not have any smaller silver pairs, so here is a contribution.

The abstract design evokes the claw, the paw and the gemstone all at the same time. The part one puts through their ear is less than 3mm thick.
