13" x 21" photograph signed and numbered "Oscar Chicago 50-1087-A" and titled "Sears Congress of Merchants 'On To Chicago' Stevens hotel, May 4, 1950"!

This hotel is now The Hilton Chicago on the Magnificent Mile - Michigan Avenue!

When it opened as The Stevens in 1927, it boasted an 18 hole rooftop golf course, its own hospital and a 1,200 seat theater that showed "talking pictures."

This must have been some occasion as an orchestra plays in the lower left part of the photo.

Check out the opulent crystal chandeliers, grand American flag display and wrought iron balcony!

Framed in black-painted wood with hole through top of frame; glass and backing intact.

Created from some of the most lovely vintage fabric I've ever seen, this 13" x 15" shabby sweet pillow would look soft and lovely in a bedroom or just about anywhere!

Fabric is thin and deliciously faded. This is an oldie, there are flea bites and discolorations on the reverse.
Hand sewn years ago!
