This bustle is a take on my original design (that was based on the traveling bustle from the late 1800's).

Perfect for Steampunk, Gothic, Burlesque, Tribal Fusion, Belly dance and everyday wear! Even great for a bit of sass for a pirate lass! (oh that was bad...)

I was looking for a way to give the cross front design, but with the maximum adjust ability that I strive for in every design that is not custom, and many times even custom items have some give and take.

Each of these bustles is an ORIGINAL. There are no two alike. Please remember that I have a full range of sizes, and am able to sew for smaller or larger ladies at no extra charge. Custom Orders are ALWAYS welcome!

These have front side ties, just like a wrap skirt would, but they tie at each side, instead of in one place with a wrap around string. These can be wrapped either way, left or right, as both sides have been fitted with 2 openings to run lacing through.

These are all in size ranges, BUT I am able to adjust the sizes and placements of the ties if you need them smaller.

Buttery yellow flocked taffeta top layered with two different types of lace. Ties at sides with sturdy yet antique lace.
This Bustle is 42" wide, 7" overlap possible and about 16" long in the rear.

25 yard hem 100% cotton black 4 tier skirt. This skirt is 36" long, can shorten length or adjust the waistline (free), longer skirts require special order (no extra charge)

Can fit up to 80" hip!! (smaller too)

4 tiers of fabric gathered into each other, to make an amazing almost 2 full circles of spinning magic skirt!

Perfect for layering with other colors, skirt dancing, Bustling, tucking and just plain spinning amazingness!

Skirt is not made from the cheap ultra lightweight tissue cotton that so many skirts are made of. This skirt has weight, and is ULTRA fluffy!

This bustle is sized for hips/waist of 40-50" and is 16" long. the most overlap will be at 40" with the least or none at all at 50+"

Waistband and top tier is a crisp brown and white stripe cotton layered over a chocolate brown eyelet that is gilded in gold. This lays over a vintage white lace. Lace is in three pieces and layered a bit to give a "broken" look. Its almost not noticeable. Very pirate like =) (airship or otherwise).
This ties at the front, at each side with a delicate white lace ribbon. there is a 7" overlap (give or take a few inches.

This bustle will fit 40-50" hips/waist. This one has a 10" overlap in the front. The most overlap will be at 40 or lower inches, the widest with the least overlap will be at 50+"

Waistband and Top Tier is a deep blood red with ivory antique button stripe cotton, layered over a filmy red organza that has a beautiful leaf pattern woven into it with a bit of shine. A blood red crisp cotton is layered over a creamy Charmeuse satin.

This ties at the front sides with a vintage ivory, delicate lace. (not too delicate though).

The pictures dont do it justice! The colors are deep and rich!

Waistband and top tier is a printed ivory buttons and stripes cotton. Its layered over a super vintage piece of light brown/tan satin. A clean ivory cotton is then layered over a beautiful matching vintage color tan lace. Ties at front sides with a delicate vintage off white lace (1930's-50's).

This bustle will fit 50-60" Hips/waist. Is 16-17" long in the rear. Each layer is gathered and sewn onto a base to create the lightest possible garment.

First tier and waistband is a delicate Ivory taffeta layered over a deep chocolate brown irridecent taffeta. Pink & Brown Stripe cotton layers over a faded vintage pink (almost white) lace. Ties are a delicate and vintage off white lace.

This bustle will fit a hip/waist size of 50-60" and is 16-17" long. Maximum overlap at or close to 50" and little to no overlap at 60" Overlap is 7" BUT can be tied a bit tighter if you are a bit smaller than 50" hips.

Top Layer and waistband is a light sky blue crinkle taffeta, second tier is a white eyelet with a sheen of silver, as though it were sprayed on. Third tier is Pink eyelet with the same sliver sheen as before. Bottom layer is black with Can Can lady flowers! Each flower is really a can can dancer!! I have included a close up picture. I have more of this fabric and can make a matching vest!

This ties at the front sides with delicate white lace.

Waist will expand to 80" for maximum fit!

White Skirt in Main Photo is the only Skirt I sewed. It is being shown with a Black tissue skirt over the top as a layer. (the fabric I use is not so thin)

I can alter the waistband smaller if need be as well to clean up a bit of the bulk.

I can make this skirt as short or as long as you need it!

Bustle is 26" wide without ties, and 10.5" long
First Tier of this butstle is a white eyelet with a silver sheen. Very pretty.
Second tier is a VINTAGE blue brocade fabric. It has texture and sheen. This came from a "stash" that my great aunt had. She was a professional Seamstress.
Top tier is a vintage eyelet lace in white.
All of these are hand gathered into a white waistband and laced onto a ribbon.

Both fabrics on this bustle came from my vintage stash (1950's).
Bottom layer is a flashy GOLD brocade type fabric. and layered on top of that is a filmy ivory lace. I think that it calms the gold down a bit.
These are gathered into a cream cotton waistband that is laced onto a ribbon.
