This Hand Carved Unicorn is sure to inspire hours of adventuresome, imaginative play. Carved from solid Sassafras, the Unicorn is approximately 4 inches long, 5 inches tall, and 1 1/2 inches thick.

About the materials used:
Sassafras is a domestic hardwood that is typically gentle light tan color. It is of medium hardness and is known for its pleasing odor and beautiful luster.

For each animal, I select a locally purchased hardwood that invokes images of a real animal. The variations in the look and feel of the wood help your child's imagination bring these animals to life. The Doe, Buck, and Fawn are Hickory. All of the animals have a hand-rubbed non-toxic mineral oil finish that brings out the natural beauty of the wood.

Buck - Approximately 3 3/4" long, 4 1/2" tall, and 7/8" thick.
