Of course you know that perennials are those plants which keep coming back, year after year. So effortless, they are the workhorses of the garden. This scarf just feels perennial to me, you will reach for it time after time and through many seasons.

It is a soft, honest, chunky wool blend in a quiet, sophisticated taupe that goes anywhere with anything. It is knit in a loose fashion so it can be used in many seasons. Narrow enough to wind around your neck and not be too bulky.

The bloom is a brooch which can be worn anywhere on the scarf or elsewhere for that matter. It is knit in a velverty chenille. It is a rich creamy white with a rich pink velvet covered button in the center. So unexpected. An olive green leaf curls aobut the bloom. You will find a gold plated pin neatly sewn onto the back to make it a forever fresh corsage.

The scarf measures over 80 inches in length, 4 inches wide. The rose is about 5 inches across.

Winding down a forest path made me create this scarf. It is neat and smart and warm and not too fancy. The knit is thick, full and soft with the right amount of density even for Goldlilocks. It is knit with a wool blend in taupe with a ivory fleck which goes with everything.

The gorgeous bloom on this scarf is the color of sunet with warm pinks and orange, knit a fuzzy soft mohair. Three glass beads streaked with gold, blue and green are tucked into the rose's center. A green leaf curls at the base. The whole blossom is sewn onto a gold-plate kilt pin. You can use this beauty anywhere you like.

This is no wallflower. Be prepared to get attention with this corsage.

The length of the scarf is 66 inches, width almost 4 inches. The bloom is 5 inches across.

There is something about this season, its proms, showers and weddings. These special events inspired a new creation for me, the wrist corsage. An eternal blossom that can be worn anytime to elevate any ordinary day to event status.

This cuff is knitted in a chunky wool blend in a forgiving gray-flecked ivory. The flower is knitted in a boucle which is light and pretty. The color of this sweet rose is a deep scarlet red. There are crystal and gold glass beads added to the center for a little sophisication and shine. There is a vintage button sewn on with a robin's egg blue floss.

Wear this on your wrist. The knitted nature of the cuff allows for it to be buttoned anywhere to provide your own fit. It can also be added to the strap of your tote, or even around your pony tail. Always keep your options open.

Hot house roses might be a bit fussy and high maintenance which just seems to describe this cowl to me. A gorgeous creamy ivory in a slubby fat and thin acrylic yarn with a silky brown ribbon woven in. It can be cinched in a bit and ited in a beautiful girly bow. The ribbon is removable if it doesn't suit your outfit that day. This lovely piece will keep you warm and get you as much attention as a prized bloom.

The rose is a mohair wool blend in an earthy chocolate brown with enough variation to look luxurious. There is a caramel brown jeweled button sewn into its center. It will reflect light and shimmer as if you needed additional attention. The flower is a pin which can be removed and placed wherever if works best for you including directly on your lapel.

The cowl is 12 1/2 inches around with a good amount of stretch, about 7 1/2 wide. The flower brooch is about 4 1/2 inches across.

Cranberry Shoots Scarf

This makes me think of cutting a bit of ivy, placing it in a glass and seeing the little rootlets shooting off from the stem. This scarf is knitted in a seed stitch and sends off shoots to the world in its effort to reach beyond itself. Seems like that's the point, doesn't it? This wool blend yarn is a rich, exuberant cranberry red. It is soft yet has body. The scarf is very textured and knubby. This texture is carried to the fringe in a wool blend lump and bump ivory cream.

This scarf is very long and can be wound around your neck and shoulders in a variety of ways. Red is so delicous with denim or white. The fringe makes it sophisicated enough for your nicer coat. It is skinny enough to leave on as an accessory to your outfit all day. The colors are perfect to give to someone you love.

During so much of the year, the nights can be cool and you have to protect your tender plants from frost. This shrug will do the same thing for your dear shoulders. The yarn is a chunky, supple wool blend in a rich charcoal gray that will go with everything. Wear it over a tank as it gets warmer or over a long sleeve now. Super cute with your little dress. This color would be great for the evening time... Yummy, soft and warm.

The lovely bloom is a mohair wool blend in a antique earthy brown with a bit of subtle black woven throughout. There are three glass beads tucked in the center, caramel in color. It will catch a glimmer of light as you wear it. A creamy ivory leaf curls just so about the blossum. The flower is attached by a gold-plated kilt pin. It can removed and worn on your jacket, purse, or another garment.

The length is about 28 inches, around 5 inches wide. The flower is 4 1/2 inches across.

There is something about special events like dances and weddings that inspired a new creation for me, the wrist corsage. An eternal blossom that can be worn anytime to elevate any ordinary day to event status.

This cuff is knitted in a chunky wool blend in a forgiving netral taupe. The flower is knitted in a boucle which is light and pretty. The color of this sweet rose is a timeless robin's egg blue. There are copper and glass beads added to the center for a little sophisication and shine. There is a vintage button sewn on with a robin's egg blue floss.

Wear this on your wrist. The knitted nature of the cuff allows for it to be buttoned anywhere to provide your own fit. It can also be added to the strap of your tote, or even around your pony tail. Always keep your options open.

The length of the cuff is 10 inches, width is 2 inches. The rose is about 3 1/4 inches in diameter. Please allow for variation in the vintage button for your cuff.

Of course you know that perennials are those plants which keep coming back, year after year. So effortless, they are the workhorses of the garden. This scarf just feels perennial to me, you will reach for it time after time and through many seasons.

It is a soft honest, chunky, wool blend in a soft, sophisticated taupe that goes anywhere with anything. It is knit in a loose fashion so it can be used in many seasons. Narrow enough to wind around you neck and not be too bulky.

The bloom is a brooch which can be worn anywhere on the scarf or elsewhere for that matter. It is knit in a velvety cotton chennile. It is a rich frosty blue with three dark iridescent glass beads shimmering in the center. The leaf is cream with a fleck curling just so. A gold plated pin is sewn onto the back to make it a forever fresh corsage.

The scarf measures about 84 inches in length, 4 inches wide. The rose is about 5 inches across.

This is a fresh sunny blue sky with a single bright cloud. This scarf is skinny and thick, knit in a warm blue wool blend yarn. It is just right to wear all day as an accessory to your otherwise ordinary day.

The corsage is a rose with leaf attached to a gold-plated pin. Knit in the same wool blend as the scarf, the bloom is creamy ivory and the leaf is a sunshine yellow. Of course you noticed the pink flowery Kaffe Fassett fabric covered button bringing the fun to this charming piece. You can attach this rose anywhere along the length of this scarf or of course to your jacket, shirt or ponytail. It brings a giggle.
