This small container is the perfect way to display a several freshly cut flowers from your garden. The flowers just slip into one of the three ceramic tubes which have an opening in the bottom so that tubes fill with water to the level of the surrounding pot. The tubes can accommodate several stems each. For flowers with very delicate stems, use multiple flowers or added greenery in each tube.

This flower arranger is glazed in a lovely blue glaze which breaks brown overlapped by a rutile white glaze resulting in a pale blue where the glaze overlaps. This piece was fired to over 2300 degrees F.

Approx. 5 1/2" in diameter, 3" high.

I made one of these for at the request of a friend and while I was at it, made one for myself. Fun to make and convenient to use, so I made more. Just fill with your favorite cooking salt, put a little spoon in it and set it by your stove. No more reaching for the box of salt when cooking.

This iron red salt pig is thrown as a single form, cut at an angle, rotated and put back together. A raised flower decoration was added and glazed in contrasting colors.

Approx. 6" in height, 3" in diameter.

All of my pottery is food safe, as well as microwave and dishwasher safe.

Pair of hand thrown tall stoneware tumblers. Perfect for ice tea or beverages that require a bit of ice. These tumblers were glazed by overlapping a creamy white glaze over an earthy red glaze creating a light tan with lots of interest where the glazes intersect. The tumbler was high fired to approx. 2300° F. I originally made this style tumbler as a custom order to fit cup holders in a client's recliner cup holders. Liked the look and feel so much that I decided to make more!

Approx. 51/4" in height, 2 3/4" in diameter. Easily holds 10 ounces.

All of my pottery is food safe, as well as microwave and dishwasher safe.

Hand thrown stoneware serving or bowl. Use it for mixing and food preparation as well as serving. Its deep shape and generous size is perfect for chips or popcorn and it can be used for serving without taking up a lot of space on the table. Fill it with assorted fruit and use it as a center piece. It is decorated by overlapping a creamy white glaze over an earthy red glaze creating a caramel color with lots of interest where the glazes intersect.

This bowl was high fired to over 2300°F.

Approx. 5 1/2" tall; 8" diameter. Easily holds 2 1/2 quarts..

LomaPrietaPottery uses food safe glazes. Pottery can safely be put in the microwave and dishwasher.

This adorable ceramic pig was created from a wheel thrown bottle comes with her own name and certificate of origin:

This ceramic sculpture has no function other than to bring a smile to your face when you look at her. She is glazed in a variety of glazes and looks at you sweetly through her green eyes and seems to be talking to you through her red lips!

She is a petit 3 3/4" high, 4" from nose to tail and is a mere 31/2" wide.

Made from high fire stoneware and lead-free glazes, you could eat off her back if she was a food dish!

Hand thrown stoneware mug decorated by overlapping a creamy white glaze over an earthy red glaze creating lots of interest where the glazes intersect. The mug was high fired to approx. 2300° F. The comfortable handle is hand pulled and has the added advantage of not getting hot when heating your beverage in the microwave. The top of the mug is slightly more narrow than the base to keep your beverage a bit warmer longer.

Approx. 3 1/2" in height, 4" in diameter at the base, 5 1/2" wide including the handle. Easily holds 9 ounces.
