A new take on my traditional candy wrapper bracelet, I made this bracelet with a skinnier shaped fold in the starbursts for a more complex woven look in the finished product.

Made from wrappers from my favorite square fruity candies each of these bracelets is unique - hand folded and pieced, letting the colors fall where they may - and finished with a velcro fastener.

The waxy coating on the wrappers gives the item a natural shine and some water resistance. Safe from moisture of rain or sweat - not so safe from swimming.

This clutch bag is one of my very favorites - its very roomy on the inside and perfect for a night out on the town if you rock.

I've hand sown soda can tabs to the outside of the purse for a fun shiny look that promotes reusing materials. Plus, when you're all done with the purse you can send it in to recycle the aluminum.

This brooch is a real conversation starter, as its made entirely with recycled materials. The light colored petals are from plastic shopping bags which have been fused together, the dark colored ones are from a tater tot package which has been cleaned and sealed prior to being hand cut to shape.

Red print from the fused shopping bag can still be read spelling out 'reuse' (visible on the top left petals as seen in the first image of this listing)

I topped this flower with my very favorite button of all. It is from my Dad's recliner from when I was growing up (I swear it fell off all by itself) When I saw how it looked on this finished flower I was glad I held on to it all these years.
