Mystery Sun Dragon Egg - Baby Dragon on a Rock

$15.00
This listing is for an egg containing one sculpture of a baby Sun Dragon basking on a rock. All other details about this sculpture will be a surprise.

Each mystery sculpture is made to order and can take up to a week to ship.

If there is a color you truly love (or despise) feel free to include that information in the "note to seller" when you order.

**Background Information**

Sun Dragons get their name from the way light makes their eyes shine. They are the most commonly found of the BEC's. They are all brightly colored, but colors and patterns change with each hatching. A Sun Dragon's favorite thing to do is to bask on a rock in a brightly lit spot. Baby Sun Dragons are the easiest to tame because they don't have wings yet.

I primarily work with river rocks, glass marbles and a polymer clay. I like working with polymer clay because it stays soft until cured in an oven. My favorite brand is Fimo, because it works really well for caning (aka millefiori). This technique allows me to create a block of clay that I can cut into slices with a repeating pattern. All of my creatures have been created using this technique.

Visit my website to learn more about Sun Dragons:
http://www.strange-child.com/sundragons.html

Mystery Sun Dragon Egg - Baby Dragon with Wings on a Magnetic Rock

He's hoping to use it to create a horde of paper clips ...or maybe straight pins. The magnet is very strong so I don't think he's going to have much trouble getting a nice big pile of metal to lord over. (This magnet is so strong I won't let him bask very close to my computer.)

Sun Dragons get their name from the way light makes their eyes shine. These fascinating creatures are strongest when they are allowed to sleep in a well lit spot all day. During the day, the colors and patterns of a Moon Dragon's scales often appear pale and simple. However, the true beauty of a Moon Dragon can only be seen in the dark.

I primarily work with river rocks, glass marbles and a polymer clay. During the day, the colors and patterns of a Moon Dragon's scales often appear pale and simple. However, the true beauty of a Moon Dragon can only be seen in the dark. A Moon Dragon's scales glow in the dark as a way of scaring away larger predators, like Closet Monsters. The scales will need to "charge" under a bright light before they will glow. Brighter light will help them glow for a longer period of time.

This baby Moon Dragon has just sprouted wings.
