I love how organic this piece feels, and how unique it is.
The centerpiece is a big chunk of rare druzy stone, hanging from beach pebbles from Lake Michigan. There are more druzy stones, freshwater pearls, and lapis lazuli on the sides.

I took it out on a test drive and got so many compliments on it! People just respond to how natural and yet really cool it is.

It's 18" long but can be adjusted.
It's a little more costly because of the druzy stone.

This beautiful necklace is one of two ribbon necklaces that I've created lately. It's made by plaiting ribbon,
then sewing ruffled ribbon and lace trim on the back, and then lining the back for softness. I then sewed on the contrasting flowers and dangling items, and glued on rhinestones. As with the green cicada ribbon necklace, the "loose" threads on this piece are secured; I wanted it to look frayed.
Wear it with a black dress, a babydoll top, a black strappy tank, or make it funky with a printed dress! I'm also envisioning it with Scottish plaids, for some reason.
Or...
it could be just the ticket for that formal evening wedding that you're dreading to have to go to. Toss it on with CFM shoes and it's just edgy enough that you'll feel like it's your little secret weapon!

This big gob of a necklace looks heavy but is actually surprisingly light! I love it because it can be worn for a bright, happy, casual look, or a much more sophisticated one with the right shirt or dress.

It is a bit more expensive than a lot of my pieces, seeing as how it's loaded up with big coral, turquoise, gorgeously dyed agate, and a huge amazonite disc, among other items. I used at least 6 different types of stones when making it. And, though it's "jingly" and the components wrap around each other, etc. ,I've ensured that they don't move that much, and will stay in their place as I've shown it.

Give it as the best gift ever, or treat yourself to that one special addition to your Spring/Summer wardrobe that will tie everything together and make it look fabulous!

Yay! I finally had enough components for this necklace that I could use some of these big, gorgeous stones. I honestly don't know what the light lime green handcut faceted stone is, but I had never seen it before, nor have I seen it for sale since. It's an unusual color, but fit right in with the acid green, turquoise, and sky blues.

This is a necklace of substance. I mean, it's not uncomfortably heavy to wear, but I wouldn't go dancing in it, either. Maybe if I had boobs it would rest nicely on them and not hang straight down my torso. I've made it, though, so that it won't twist or lose it's shape from what it is now. It's clasped and chained together to stay that way.

While some of the vintage pieces are sweet and delicate looking, the rocks are, like, wow. Completely one of a kind and very different!

Here's the second of 2 big chunky resin bead necklushes,
and then I gotta go out and get me some more!
The beads are lightweight and come in cool colors, and I've made it a wee bit more sophisticated by adding chunks of turquoise, clay beads, and green jasper stones. It ties with a cord that you can wear choker-style or loosen up.

Wear with absolutely anything and rock on! I'm envisioning it with a flouncy patchwork skirt, flip-flops, and layered tanks at Polka Fest in Cedar, Michigan..( population 20)totally flubbing the dance and having a blast! But that's just me.

This piece is one of my favorites, ever. I made another one just for moi, and people ask for one like it all the time. The leather cord and unusual stones give it immediate hip factor.
I wear mine with everything simple, and just wear statement shoes or cowboy boots and throw on a denim or suede jacket.
The beauty of this necklace is that you can just throw your hair up or even put it in ponytails for gosh sakes, but when you put it on its got such presence that nothing else matters; it looks expensive and cool and definitely one-of-a-kind.

This is a really, really fun piece that's more youthful than some of my others. The color combo is unusual and just right for this Spring and Summer's yellow friendly pallette!
