My 2010 wall calendar is here and I am so excited about it! This is a very special project of mine, from a brand new series, entitled "Friends Forever." I created this series after feeling frustrated and sad about trying to keep in touch with good friends that I have made over the years. Graduating from college and the eventual spread of everyone to different cities over the country and the world makes it hard to maintain friendships as well you would like, and I wanted to create a series that celebrates old friends, from grade school through college and through the last 8 years of my life after college. Hooray friends!

This is a super-special-awesome calendar and I am really excited about the quality of it. It is printed on an Epson card stock paper, with all twelve months plus a cover page. I even made a small braided friendship bracelet (colors will vary) that loops through the hole at the top, for easy hanging. This would make a special gift to old and new friends! Please click on the 4th and 5th pictures above to see a bigger version of all 12 illustrations for each month. The original illustrations for this calendar were painted with watercolors and acrylics and all the text that you see in the calendar was also hand-painted. All prints can also be trimmed at the end of the year and framed!

Sizes: 7.5"x10" with rounded corners and a small hole for hanging at the top. Small, braided friendship bracelet for hanging. Copyright text will not appear on actual calendar.

Who Likes to Tea Party?!

This is an original painting from a very special project of mine, entitled "Friends Forever." I created this series after feeling those frustrated and sad feelings from trying to keep in touch with good friends that I have made over the years. Watercolor and acrylic on gesso on a cradled pine board. Sprayed with a protective matte finish (still not suitable to dunk in water though!) Painting comes signed and ready to hang. Also looks great set on a shelf and is deep enough to stand on it's own.
