Sterling and Fine Silver Filigree Necklace with Blue Goldstone and Garnet

$195.00
This piece measures 3 5/8" wide by 2" wide (measuring at the widest points). It is 19" long. Be advised that if you need for your necklaces to be 19" to be comfortable, this necklace will not be long enough. The width of the stiff neckpiece causes the necklace to seem shorter than it is. I recommend this necklace for anyone who likes their necklaces 16-17" long.

It is completely handcrafted out of sterling and fine silver wires, each curl formed by hand and soldered into place individually. It features a beautiful, sparkling 13x18mm blue goldstone cab set in sterling silver. Brilliant AAA faceted Garnet briolettes hang along with blue goldstone briolletes on the bottom of the piece. Tiny garnet beads attach a sterling silver chain to the neckpiece and also attach the custom, handcrafted (by me) toggle clasp of fine and sterling silver to the necklace.

It's definitely a work of art, and quite a showstopper. My initials and the year are etched into the back of the cabochon setting.

They aren't simply chain maille. They were meticulously constructed, ring by ring, and each ring was fused shut.

They feature several Swarovski crystals, including a glorious number of 8mm Swarovski rondelle crystals. All of the crystals have the AB coating for extra shine. These are great for a bride or for any fashionista out there wanting to dress up her heels and jeans (I know I LOVE wearing earrings like this with my jeans!).

All of the beads are connected into the necklace using wrapped wire loops to ensure the security of the piece.

The necklace also has a handmade toggle clasp, also in fine silver, created for this piece. The pale pink would perfectly compliment many other colors, and is understated enough for accenting a bridal gown. The toggle clasp will clasp into any ring along the length of the necklace, so it could potentially be shortened if needed.

The pendant shape was cut by me (using special tools, of course) from 18 gauge fine silver sheet. I cut a hole in the top portion, hand stamped the designs, antiqued, and tumbled the piece. It features a fused fine silver bail in an oval shape. The pendant has a somewhat textured edge around the outer and inner circle. It was tumbled overnight for maximum strength and shine.

"The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
-Zeph. 3:17

I then tumbled it overnight for maximum strength and shine. The pendant has a slightly textured edge around the outside and inside circles.

Swarovski crystals are attached with ball ended fine silver headpins (also made by me!). The entire setup comes on a silver plated chain to hold the stitch markers together AND to adorn your knitting bag.

The markers themselves are about 1 1/8" long (including crystals), and the rings will comfortably fit on knitting needles up to size 15 (possibly a bit larger, but 15 is the largest size I own, so I know they fit on those. ^_^).

***Please note: These are not going to work for Crochet, unless you're doing Tunisian crochet, since these markers slip onto a needle to mark a stitch. You can't mark stitches in crochet with these because you won't be able to take them off of the stitches once they're completed!***

The idea for these stitch markers was born on a long road trip. While in the car, I was knitting a new pattern and I needed some stitch markers. I didn't have any, so I made some out of yarn. You can do the same thing, of course! But this got me thinking that these fused rings I make, usually for jewelry, would be perfect for marking stitches in knitting, AND I could hang pretty crystals off of them, AND I could put them on a little chain so I wouldn't lose them, and--! I could hang the chain off of my knitting bag and my handy stitch markers can double as a charm for the bag!

So here is my newest product offering, from one passionate knitter to another, an idea born of a long, boring road trip made more pleasurable (and productive!) by knitting.

These would be the ultimate in a luxurious gift for any knitter in your life.

They are completely handmade, tumbled for strength and shine, and made of 99.9% pure silver, not sterling silver, which is 92.5% silver. They tarnish much more slowly than sterling silver, are often shown to be safe for people with metal allergies to sterling silver, and are a great accent to your fine silver pieces made from Art Clay or PMC.

I'm beginning my journey into selling my own handmade supplies, after many questions as to where I "find" my fine silver findings. The truth is that I make every single finding used in each of my fine silver pieces because I enjoy the creative process, but also because well priced fine silver findings are still hard to find.

This piece began as a coil of wire and was turned into what you're looking at now through the various techniques I use in manipulating the metal to produce these results.

Each ring is fused closed, making a complete chain. Because of the difficulty of adding links or removing links (since they're fused shut), each of these bracelets is made as they are ordered.
Fused Fine Silver Oval Chain Bracelet 999 pure NOT sterling

$36.95
This bracelet style is made from fused fine silver rings that I made myself, completed with a toggle clasp also made by me.

Specify your desired length in the comments section when you purchase your bracelet.

Customizable Sterling Silver Square Wire Name Word Pendant

$13.95
*Order your own custom name or word! Specify desired name/word in order comments.*

**Check out my brand new listing for Swarovski crystal birthstone color drops to attach to these pendants. PERFECT gifts for moms and grandmas you know, or for yourself!**

These are hand sculpted by me out of sterling silver square wire. The largest of the above words, "girlfriend", is 2" wide. They average about 3/4"-1" tall. The bail loops are large enough to accomodate most chains. The square wire gives these pendants a stunning look when the light bounces off of them--each side of the wire is like a glistening little facet. Every pendant I make is tumble polished overnight with stainless steel shot to give ultimate shine, strength, and smoothness.

Each pendant will come with a silver plated ball chain in a length of your choice, from 16-24". Alternatively, I can include a black adjustable cotton cord that will adjust from 16-30". Keep in mind, if ordering a cord necklace, that the pendant cannot be removed from the cord necklace without cutting the cord.

Specify on special orders whether you'd like the double bail or single bail. Both styles are pictured above. The double bail is the one with two loops at the top and the single bail is the one with one loop at the top.

All of my rings are tumble polished for several hours to ensure strength and shine.

This beautiful rose quartz ring is made with fine silver wire which is 99.9% pure silver. This means several wonderful things: mainly that people with metal allergies can often wear fine silver with no problem, just like they can often wear 24kt gold with no problem. The fine silver, because it is more pure, will tarnish much more slowly than sterling silver. Just store it in a bag and wipe it every now and then and you shouldn't have any problems with it tarnishing at all! It's also better than sterling silver, just like 24kt gold is better than 18kt gold. If buying as a gift, you can let the recipient know about this being a more pure silver than is usually seen.

The bead is turned, of course, so that the most sparkling part of it is facing up! How could it be any other way?
Turquoise Colored Howlite Fine Silver Wire Ring 999 pure NOT Sterling size 1-16

$13.95
The pictured ring is size 7. When ordering, specify desired size.

This ring features dyed howlite. All of my rings are tumble polished for several hours to ensure strength and shine. If these beads survive a tumbler with their colors intact, you can rest assured that they will survive normal wear perfectly intact.

This beautiful howlite ring is made with fine silver wire which is 99.9% pure silver.

They are approximately 14mm across and were made with 18 gauge wire, but the wire has been hammered so they aren't exactly that size anymore. They are fused, so there is no opening to these rings.

These links have limitless applications. Buy some of my fine silver earwires and fine silver headpins and make lovely fine silver earrings. Fine silver, which is 99.9% pure silver, can usually be tolerated even by people who have an allergy to sterling silver (which is only 92.5% pure) because sterling has additional metals.

These have rather large ball ends, perfect for holding those lampwork beads or other beads that have very large holes.

Fused Fine Silver Swarovski Crystal Colors of Faith Christian Pendant with Choice of Sterling Silver Plated Chains

$22.95
This fused fine silver pendant measures about 1.5" in length and is made completely with 99.9% pure silver, more commonly called fine silver. Sterling silver is only 92.5% silver, the other 7.5% usually being composed of nickel or copper.

Purchase price includes an 18" sterling silver plated cable chain, a sterling silver plated ball chain of any specified length from 16" to 24", or a knotted rubber cord of your specified length. Please let me know which you would like with your order.

More about the piece:
I handcrafted each piece you see in this pendant--the rings, which are fused solid, the textured teardrop central piece, the oval bail--all of it was made completely by me with various techniques, including torch work. The crystals were placed onto a large ring of wire which was then fused at the ends, a process which is quite delicate as heating too closely to the crystals can melt them or change their color. It is then shaped into its final form and tumble polished overnight for strength and shine. This pendant is a completely original design.

This pendant features the common colors of faith or salvation design in Swarovski crystal, the meanings of which are listed below.

Yellow: God's holiness
Dark: A person's sinful heart
Red: Blood of Jesus
Clear: Person's heart washed clean
Green: New life in Christ

And the flower is actually one that I made out of fused plastic grocery bags.

They feature rosewater opal Swarovski crystal rondelles and small crystal AB bicones.

HOW THEY ARE MADE:
These are NOT made with precious metal clay! The pieces are made (except for the beads) 100% by me using my torch. I begin with different sized piles of wire on my work table and, using various techniques (including fusing, hammering, etc.), fashion all of the components used in my work--every balled headpin, the ball end and hammered earwires, any toggle clasps, any solid rings with hammered designs that may be present in these pieces--it's all my work.

WHAT IS FINE SILVER?
My torch work is done exclusively with fine silver, which is 99.9% pure silver, compared to sterling silver which is 92.5% silver. This doesn't make fine silver better, necessarily, than sterling silver, but it does make it more valuable. Because of the purity of the metal, many people who have allergic reactions to sterling silver can wear fine silver with no problem (people are very rarely allergic to silver or gold--they most likely have allergies to the metals mixed into the silver and gold to create the less expensive alloys). Fine silver, because of its purity, is softer than sterling silver, so some extra caution should be taken with the pieces, not that they're delicate by any means--just treat the pieces a bit more gently, much like you would if you were handling 24kt vs. 14kt gold.

$16.95
DESCRIPTION
These lovely earrings are 1.75" long. They feature handmade fused and hammered fine silver rings and mint alabaster Swarovski crystal rondelles.

14kt gold.
