I just love this little camera. The shape is so neat and it fits in your hand wonderfully!

This is a Bakelite Original camera by Kodak named Brownie.
The camera is in good shape for its age and free of cracks, measuring 5" x 3". All of the knobs work and it even contains FILM! Of course it wouldn't be any good, but so cool.

It has a braided strap that is in good condition and the view finder is clear.

Beautifully Illustrated Childrens Book

I wish I could show you how beautiful these illustrations are. So wonderfully colored and delicately drawn.

From the book 'The Pied Piper of Hamelin' this book is illustrated by Kate Greenaway. It has many lovely pictures of mothers and children. It has a soft watercolor look with lots of details as well as the 'poetry' of the words.
In the back of the book it reads 'First published 1888, Original wood block designs engraved by Edward Evans Limited'

If I had a nursery, or a frilly little girls room or bathroom, I would take these illustrations and frame them and hang them on the wall! They are ART in themselves! With 47 pages, nearly every page has an illustration. The book measures 10" x 9" and the illustrations are 7" x 8" and in very good condition!

It's the 70's all over again.

The big 'craft' in the 1970's was rug hooking and it had to be a pictue of an OWL.

The rug is free of stains and holes but needs to be finished on the back and could be made into a wall hanging as well.This handmade, hooked rug measures 17" square and I believe the yarn to be a synthetic blend. Colors of brown, orange, ivory and olive make up this cool rug.

A bunny in a bonnet done in soft colors. This handmade cross-stitch is so fine it hardly looks like 'stitches'! The rabbit and duck picture measures 4 1/2" square with a 6 1/2" square frame in medium stain.

Signed on the back is the signiture of the giver and the 1984 event.

This would be so cute especially in a nursery.

Here's your chance to own something cool from the past. Dated c. 1953 with its original labeling, this is a vintage wooden shoe mold for a child's size 12 1/2 D.

It measures 8" long by 3" wide and 2 1/2" tall. It has some metal on it and some of the redish stain has worn off but it would be a great addition to any decor or collection.

This is one of those Shabby Chic items. It's traditionally use for a bun warmer, but I think it would be awesome hanging in a nursery and used for cotton balls, q-tips, etc.

It measures 12" on the outside, and 8" on the inside. It is a light soft green with ivory battenburg lace. It looks to have been handmade. Like I said, it has that Shabby chic look and is free of holes, rips and odor but does have a few small stains. (Haven't washed it so don't know if they would come out.)

Here's a wonderful vintage travel clock with a unique shape. Its triangular. The little travel clock works like a charm and even has a sounding alarm. The hands glow and the case closes easily.

Measuring approximately 3" in diameter with brass trim and a brown textured case, this vintage clock would be a welcome accent to any collection or for a gift. Its in very good condition for its age.

Its the 50's and 60's all over again! I bet if you owned this travel iron back then, you were considered one of the privileged and rich! A true classic.

The wonderful colors of soft pink and black make up the graphics of the box while the protective taffeta case has black, camel, turquoise and rose stipes. The fabric case is in great shape without tears or rips or holes and the zipper works fine. The box has normal wear for its age without writing, holes or rips. The box is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 2 1/2".

I did plug in the iron and it heated up quickly. It has a dial for nylon, rayon, silk, wool, cotton, high and off. In addition there is a knob for adding water too. The iron measures 8" x 4" and 4" tall when open and 2" when the handle is collapsed.

Talk about RETRO?!?!?!? This is an UNUSED, UNCUT dress pattern copyright 1963! Awesome!
The pattern is a size 16 with bust of 36. The pattern pieces haven't even been unfolded.
The envelope is in excellent condition for its age. There are no major tears or stains on it but it has
a fabric store's stamp on the lower front. The graphics of the women are a+.

Rolex LIGHTER vintage RED

I really can't tell if the red covering on this lighter is actually part of the Original lighter or if its red duck tape that was added later. It measures 2" tall x 1 3/4" wide.

The lighter has the words "Rolex" Automatic Lighter Japan on the bottom.
The lever on the top moves and the screws on the bottom loosen. Other than that, I can't tell you much more about the lighter. I acquired it with some old, vintage pipes.

Gator Leather PURSE vintage with matching Coin purse

A vintage Alligator clutch style purse from the 30's and 40's is in very good condition.

A medium brown leather with a pumpkin orange lining has one interior pocket with a zipper and one without. The inside is extremely clean with a neat matching coin purse that is attached by an elastic cord. Measurements are 10" wide x 8" tall and 3" deep.

Overall the purse handle is hardly worn and same with the actual purse. I only found a small white streak on the surface of the purse, but the corner and such are lightly worn. The only issue with this purse is the 'catch'. I can't seem to get it to stay latched but I don't find where any part of the metal is broke.

This would be a terrific addition to any collection or to be used with your favorite outfit.

This handmade hooked rug could brighten any space. It measures 20" x 27" and has a deep rust or barn red border with a bouquet of varies flowers in the center. The colors in the bouquet are blue, red, two shades of purple, yellow, two shades of green and rust.

The rug has been finished on the edge and could be hung on the wall if desired. The nap on the rug is about 1" and it is free of stains and holes but could use a general cleaning.

This is a handmade apron from the 70s. It has the wonderful colors of the era. Browns, gold, orange and avocado! It is in good condition without tears, holes and odors. A very few areas show some stitching that is missing , but it is very wearable as is.

The floral pattern is accented with an 1 1/2" avocado trim. It has three large pockets and a 3" wide sash. The bottom width of the apron is 26" by 18 1/2" long and ties that reach 82"

This would be a riot to wear at a retro party or to add to a fun collection.

Groovy PATCHWORK suede PURSE from the 70s

Can't you just see what how envious your friends would be when you use this awesome 1970's mod purse? Straight from the beat-nick era is this suede patchwork purse. Each patch is connected with a zig-zag stitch.

Colors of suede include, red, camel, black, teal, purple and blue. There is some running of the red onto the camel in one area. Inside the purse is a black cotton and is free of rips but does have a few stains. The metal closure works find however about 1" of the suede has pulled away from the closure and needs to be worked back in between the metal groove.

Overall the purse measures 8" wide by 6' tall.

This would make a great back for a quilt! It is shy of 5 yards by 2", (probably the shrinkage from being washed) at 44" wide. It is in great condition without tears, stains, odor or the like.

The floral consists of a navy background with a garden of bright flowers. Pinks, purples, ivory, gold, and green leaves make up the colors. On the selvage it labels the Cranston Co. with Design # 1102XS. In no way would I consider the piece to be faded or excessively washed.

The worst thing about this game is that it looks like it never got played! The money, cards, game pieces, game board, etc. are in Very Good Condition. Just look how the money & cards are clean, straight and without creases and the like. It is really amazing to see the gameboard in such prestine condition too, but...the box that holds the game is not so great. The corners are ripped and it has marking on it.

Here’s just what that bride needs that loves everything Vintage, a ‘Maid of Honor, percolating coffee pot.

This is an aluminum pot that makes 8 cups of coffee the old fashion way. It has a wonderful round glass top with a bakelite handle. Its in good shape but not perfect with a small dent on the top lid and the handle looks like it got too close to the flame. It measures 7” high and 8” wide including the handle.

This isn't an old book but it has retro, vintage pictures that feature the famous DICK and JANE characters.
This is a child's hard page book with a tray that hold 16 character magnets to add to each story page. There are 5 full page pictures to read and explore.

I think this book would be a terrific source for creating retro and vintage collages or jewelry because of the pictures and the little 'characters' all ready to go. Or for those of you who grew up during this time, maybe you want your own grandchildren to enjoy the Dick and Jane series. Here's something cool from the past. Its an old tin bucket that they use to sell lard in.

This is a very old bucket and of course shows some age. However it is still very serviceable. You could use for a potted plant, kindling, dried arrangement, etc.

The bucket measures 8" tall and 8" in diameter at the top. The label is fully intact and so is the iron handle.

Were you born in 1966 or did your parents graduate from high school then? Well this is a 1966 yearbook from Brewer, Maine. It is in very good condition with only the original owners signature on the front cover and a 1 ½” tear. The rest of the book is free of stains, writing and the like.

This awesome retro yearbook shows what it was like back then. The clothes, hairstyles, activities and more. It has 186 pages and measures 8” x 11”.

This book would be great for collage work or to browse through for laughs.

This Very Old Long Black Leather Case could hold a variety of items. I’m not sure its original intention but would be neat for pool sticks, fishing rods, a flute…you tell me.

This old leather case is completely intact. The handle is fine and the end that opens is also workable with its strap and buckle. You will find though that the leather is dried out and has some surface cracks.

The leather case measures 23” long by 3 ½” wide.

This is a Double-Decker Aluminum Coffee Pot by Wear Ever Model #3042 made in the USA. It is in good shape with all of the interior parts and no cracks on the handles. It does have a ½” dent on the top lid.

VINTAGE APRON 40S CALICO

This is an exquisitely, handmade hostess apron probably from the late 40’s. It has the wonderful vintage calico design in colors of navy, cranberry and dark olive green on a grey-blue background. The person that must have made this apron was probably a perfectionist. The stitching is very straight, corners are trimmed, etc. This apron is in EXCELLENT condition. I couldn’t find a stain, tear or hole on it. There are two triangular pockets and two sash ties. The apron measures 19” long and the bottom hem is 36”. The bottom edge is a bias, flared curved style. (I don’t know how to explain it any different, but it is more ‘shaped’ or flattering than most).

This would be a great retro apron to wear at your next party or just add it to your collection.

Old children's book Easy to Read great illustrations FERN BISEL PEAT

This book contains some awesome black and white illustrations from the famous artist Fern Bisel Peat!

It is copy written in 1936 and is filled with children's illustrations. The graphics on the front and back cover are in good shape but the binder edge is gone. The book is made up of 310 pages, all in near perfect condition except for the normal 'aging' coloration around the edges. The pages are not ripped or stained or written on. AND almost every page has an illustration on it.

There are stories about princess, dogs, animals, children, birds, frogs, faires etc, etc! A large variety. I would guess there are over 40 different stories or poems in this book.

This book would be great for art projects or to add to a collection.

What a 'groovey' apron from the 1970's. It has all the pattern and colors of the era.
This is a handmade apron featuring a floral background with an avocado trim banding. It has three large pockets, is pleated at the waistline and finished with a wide, long tie.
This hostess apron measures 18" long and 26" wide at the bottom hem. Colors of Brown, orange, gold and avocado are complete on a heavy ivory cotton. I didn't find any tears, rips or holes, but the stitching is not done by a perfectionist.

This would be great for any Retro occasion or to add to a collection

This is the Vintage Floraline Ware #418. It has that Creamy Off White color and the shapes of the Eames Era. I did not find any cracks but the glaze on this piece is sloppy! There are drips on the sides, a cluster of glaze on one side and an area of missing glaze on the top rim. For the price do you care? These go for $25-$50, but this one could have been a reject. It measures 8" x 4 1/2" wide and 3" tall.

However, with all that said, it still has the 'Retro Look'

Doubt this was ever worn as it is in near perfect condition. The beautiful leaf and floral design has a wonderful border on the hem. It has an ivory background and trim. The fabric features many leaves in colors of navy, slate, pink, burgandy with some light shades of green.

I didn't find any holes or stains. The bib part of the apron fits over your head and it also has two front pockets and long, wide ties.

This apron would be great for the holidays.

This vintage print is so sweet its dripping with sugar. The blonde hair toddler is feeding her two white rabbits in a country garden. Muted colors of green, red, tan, orange and more on an ecru background.

Dated on the bottom of the print (see photo) it says Henry B. Sandler Co. Inc. NYC No. 1126. It appears to be in the original frame as the brown paper on the back still holds it in place. The frame measures 7" x 9" and is a rather 'washed' gray. The print shows normal 'aged' coloration.

A print like this would be a nice addition to any country, or cottage decor. Or perfect for a little girls room.

I don't know much about this kit but it appears to be an original Water Testing Kit dating back to the 1960's. It has four bottles of testing chemicals, a chart, instruction book and porcelein tray and more. Evey item is in very good condition for its age. The case could stand to be cleaned though but I didn't find any rips of the fabric covering, just one corner is a little worn. The handle is a vintage bakelite in a taupe color.

Over-all the case measures 9 x 5 x 6" with its original USA made label.

This awesome mini, leather carrying case holds a true retro earphone from the 1970s. The case has a snap for closing and a snap to hold a loop to anything you want. The nutmeg case could be used to carry neat mini, small stuff. How cool is that? It measures a little bigger than 1" cube.

The earphones are in good shape without cracks or tears in the wire.

This original pattern is in good shape for its age and appears to have all of the pieces to make the three Disney characters. The worst part of this pattern is the envelope. Its really torn, but I was able to find the date of 1945 copyright with Walt Disney Productions and you can still read the fabric requirements. There are two pieces that only say 'minnie' on them but appear to be the same piece needed for mickey. Also, the 'eye' pattern is not original but a tracing of the original.

Mickey Mouse doll measures 16 1/2" tall, Minnie is 15" and Pluto is also 15".

I think anyone who is familiar with patterns can use this great vintage pattern to make some original Disney Dolls.

Handmade Decorative SWING lawn or garden ornament

This handmade vintage garden ornament is so sweet. It feature a barefoot, country girl with yellow pigtails, red shirt and blue hat and bonnet.

She measures 19" tall and 12" wide and has a rope for hanging in a tree or on a porch. (The rope is rather short but could be easily replaced)

This country swing would make a cheerful addition to any outside decor.

This is a professionally printed print of my original sculpture. The print is 8 x 10 and is signed and dated on the front. It comes wrapped in tissue and a cellophane envelope.

Hand Cross Stitchery HOME retro colors

A lot of work has gone into this retro, 1970's cross stitch hanging picture. The needlework features the phrase, 'Home is where the Heart is'. The colors of orange, gold, avocado on an ivory linen background are right out of the 70's.

This stitchery is in good condition without tears but it has a dark 2" smudge above the teapot. It might come out with a washing. The stitchery is mounted on a piece of cardboard and measures 12" x 16"

This would be a cute, country stitchery (without all the work) for your home.

Its a comic book of Dick Tracy from days gone by. This book is copy written in 1991 but it still holds some of the wonderful graphics of the original comics.

A great start to any alter art, collage, or jewelry project.
This book contains 68 pages.

Shabby Chic Pair of Tea Towels

This pair of hand embroidered tea towels has all the wonderful character of days gone by. It has the 'tea' stains and the like but no holes, tears or odor.

Each towel is hand embroidered with fruit, an apple, cherries and a pear. This embroidery is on both ends of each towel.

The cotton tea towels have that great 'tea towel' feel and function. They could easily be made into pillows, totes, quilt blocks and more. They measure 33" long by 17" wide.

Vintage Enamel Pot

Here's an old vintage Enamel Pot. It has an ivory base with grass green accents on the rim and handle.

You can see in the picture that there is a chip of paint missing the size of a quarter and the inside is stained. So this pot has been used often.

The sauce pan measures 4 1/2" in diameter by 5" tall.

Scrappy Elementary School book 1950s

This 1950's book has seen better days but it still has lots of wonderful children illustrations that would be perfect for collage work or altered art.

There are over 250 pages with 95% of them usable. However there is writing and pages that have been cut out too. Book measures 9" x 7" and all illustrations are in color.

Vintage Wooden Hanger

Here's a very vintage and cool hanger from the state of Maine. It has all the graphic lettering listing the dry cleaning shop, location, and 4-digit phone number.

What's neat about this hanger from others is its shape. Instead of being 'flat' on the top part of the hanger, this is curved or bent, making it better contoured hanger.

Wouldn't this be great to show off a vintage outfit or to use in an alter art project?

Crazy Quilt Pillow Vintage Embroidery Stitching Taffetta

Handmade and Beautiful. This is an original crazy quilt pillow made from fabrics mostly from the 70s. It has old neckties, taffetta bits, jacquards, satins and more. All of the fabrics are worked together and additional hand embrodiery accents of dragonflies, flowers and stitching patterns are added for interest. The stitching is intact except 2 small loops that need to be re-secured.

Colors of red, blue, green, yellow and pink with a plain black backing make this pillow ready to add to any decor. The interior of the pillow feels to be a fiberfil but not sure. If you'd like a lower shipping cost, I would be willing to remove the filling and charge shipping accordingly.

COCK A DOODLE DO THE ROOSTER CROWED vintage retro knife holder with rooster stencil

This is a fun and funky rooster knife holder. It has a rooster that appears to have been handpainted on the top of the piece. It is solid wood and measures 9" x 5".
The rooster is a red color with 'spot's of gold in the shape of tiny hearts. The piece does show some wear but certainly has many more years of use (in the old bird).

Here's a great retro find that would make into an awesome lamp. Wish I had time to do it, but maybe you will. It measures 14" high and 4" wide. It has a cup, screw on lid and handle but is not useable. Very vintage patina to the body of the thermos.

Lovely Blue and White Tote bag with plenty of Shabby Chic Life.

This floral tote has a lot going for it. Large and roomy it measures 16" wide by 12" tall and 5" deep. It has an ivory background with a wonderful cottage blue floral print. The handles are in fine shape but the purse does show some wear for its age. The interior is vinyl coated which makes it great for the beach or carrying groceries.

ROBOT VELVETMAN retro assemblage PRINT

Yes, now you have found the 'VELVETMAN'. He's smooth and so delightful...

This original assemblage creation of the 'VELVETMAN' began with a retro tobacco tin. I used the graphics as the main body and then added a piece of vintage sewing machine for a head, nose and eyes. I finished it off with some old dominos for feet.

This is a 8 x 10 print, professionally printed on a Epson Matt Paper.I have signed and dated it on the bottom front.

What a true conversation piece for any decor!
