*"Hematoid quartz is a type of clear quartz where hematite has formed an incrustation pseudomorph over the crystal. this means that the hematite chemically replaced another mineral without changing the form of the original mineral. the hematite formed a coating over the other mineral and the coated mineral dissolved leaving a hollow cast of the mineral that coated the dissovled mineral. this causes the quartz to become opaque & reddish brown & sometimes iridescent. this hematoid quartz is from madagascar.

this is one of my first steps on my own in silversmith work. this started as a sheet of sterling silver.

i folded, cut, annealed & hammered over & over & over! opened & soldered on one of my very own handmade bunny ear bales!!

it is a little delicate thing, not perfect but very strong!

i hope you like it, its one of my very most favorite pieces ever!

this piece is a fidgeters dream! the inside turns nicely. its a skittle shaped river rock type stone that found & repurposed so i am not exactly sure what it is. the one on the the very bottom as well. the ring around it is hematite & the little stone on top the river skittle is malachite.

a lovely piece that is wrapped in sterling.

(chain not included but black stretch cord or satin available upon request!)

this is a lovely stick that asked me to make this lovely wand. it has beautiful crystals & the string tail & wrap is recycled from a large wad of sage... it is about 12 inches :-)
