All of my jewelry is an intuitive process, i.e. when I start to make I have no idea what will happen. I am always surprised by the end result. As I was putting this necklace together I became aware of how the colors felt very royal and somehow French. You may think I'm crazy but that is why I have named this piece 'plume', French for feather.

As a child I would often play in the back yard of my Nana and Grandpa's house, sometimes finding remnants of broken pottery in the soil under the old pine trees.
