The Deluxe costume is made with gold lame fabric (satin or silk depending on availability) and a top layer of iridescent chiffon in rust/copper. The sash is made from the same gold lame used for the underlayer.Neckline is very wide to slip off one shoulder, as in the movie. Hand knit multicolor robe/coat. Made in a rustic form with hanging tails of yarn on the interior, each color change was done by hand. This was NOT a self-striping or variegated yarn. 100% cotton loop yarn is completely machine washable - I would recommend using a garment bag for the laundry to prevent stretch.

Sailor collar, long sleeve, solid evergreen belt.

This robe was originally commissioned as a custom project. The customer wanted a rustic/old world feel to it and requested each color change be done manually and allow the tails to hang on the interior. This robe took 6 months to complete, since the color changes were to be random and not go completely across a row. The customer was not able to complete the transaction and here you now have a truly one of a kind, hand knit, wearable art piece.
